Mr. Poling came out quickly to give us an estimate and replaced our gutters quickly when called that the estimate was fine to proceed. He did not ask for any money down or ask us to sign a contract. There is not much to tell as our experience with this company was very positive from start to finish. To give a bit of history, our house is only 8 years old, however the previous owners had one of the metal mesh leaf filters put onto the gutters. We immediately noticed that every time it rained, the rain would travel down our roof, over over the leaf filter system and cause huge areas of erosion and a lot of mud and mulch to run down the sidewalk. We had massive clean up whenever it rained. We previously got many opinions on what was wrong with the gutters from the many people who came out to give us a siding estimate. Two of the siding companies thought that putting a 6" commercial gutter on the front of the house would solve the problem. Seeing that my goal was to make the house function and look better, I steered away from those opinions. I got the referral for Mr. Poling from a co-worker and couldn't be happier. As it turns out, gutters are pretty much his area of expertise and he was able to point out many problems that I had with my gutters. One of the problems was that I had moss growing under the leaf filter system from all of moisture being trapped in improperly hung gutters. I was told that the water wouldn't flow if the gutter wasn't tilted properly. Anyhow, I would recommend this company to anybody. They came out as promised, finished the same day and cleaned up perfectly. If I didn't see the new gutters I wouldn't have even noticed that anybody did anything. This was certainly a first where I didn't have to make several trips around the house to pick up extra screws, nails, cuttings, debris, cigarette butts, etc. Mr. Poling, if you ever read this, we had a hard rain today and our gutters worked perfectly for the first time that we have lived here since owing this house. In my opinion, you are certainly the GUTTER KING! Thank you for a wonderful experience with a truly good old fashioned business. It really was a pleasure working with you.
