he was to show up this morning. i never heard from him, i called several times he kept saying he was coming, but never showed up or called back to say anything, i would not recommend this company, Maury Rodrigues is not a professional company. DO NOT HIRE

I hired Maufran Construction to complete the excavation, block foundation, and concreate interior for a 32' x 26' three-car detached garage. The job required the removal of an existing concrete turn-around area and a significant slope of approximately 6+ feet on the back-side of the area, new concrete footers, several feet of back-fill, and a finished concrete slab. Mauricio was the lead for the project. He was very responsive and provided competitive quotes. His company had the experience and expertise you would expect to find in a big business, but with the professionalism and responsiveness, of a small business. Initially, there was a minor language barrier, but it did not impact the project scope, professionalism, great work, or finishing of the project. Since completing the first major project, I have hired Mauricio and his business again for additional work. I would recommend Maufran Construction to any home owner who is looking for a hard-working crew with professionalism and experience at a reasonable price. I can add pictures if allowed.

Mauricio and his crew did an excellent job concreting the back patio, a sidewalk and front porch. Mauricio and his crew were very prompt and efficient. All of our concerns and questions were answered not to mention he was very flexible with last minutes changes we made to the plans. We will definitely call him back for future projects and highly recommend him.

Mauricio and his crew are experts at their craft and it really comes through in the finished product. The work, in our case, involved tearing out and hauling away concrete and stone from an old deteriorating walkway within our flower garden, and then replacing it with a new paved walkway. Shortly after placing the request, Mauricio came on site to assess the project and provide a quote for the work. Honestly, I was planning to wait at least a year before proceeding with the project due to the expense I was expecting. Mauricio informed me about an alternative to traditional brick pavers – “stamped concrete” - which is significantly less costly and has many other advantages. With stamped concrete, there is a nearly unlimited choice in patterns and color combinations, with the end result looking virtually indistinguishable from a brick/stone-paved surface. The crew started the work within a week of my accepting the quote. They completed the tear-out/haul-away and prep within a single day and then pouring and stamping was done on a subsequent day. The sealing and finishing work amounted to about one additional day’s time. All in all, the project spanned a couple weeks, with some weather interruptions, etc, involved. The whole crew was prompt, hardworking (but really seemed to enjoy their work!), courteous, tidy and very responsive. Scrap and debris was generally cleaned up and removed at the end of each day. They even offered to salvage the old paving stones for us during removal. So we now have those available for use elsewhere if we choose. It was very clear to me that Mauricio goes above and beyond, taking a lot of personal and professional pride in achieving the best results for the customer. He insisted on making a couple follow-up visits to tend to some additional finishing details, and apply further sealing touch-up. Much appreciated, as it noticeably further enhanced the appearance. To state the obvious at this point, we are extremely pleased with the entire experience and finished results! Now we can’t wait for next Spring to see it all surrounded by beautiful flowers. If you are planning a brick paver project, consider stamped concrete as a great alternative with many advantages (lower cost, quicker installation time, more durable and less maintenance over time, without compromising on beautiful appearance). I highly recommend Maufran Construction for your landscape-paving (or similar) project!

They are good company overall. They delivered on what they said they would do.

The work was excellent and they came out when they said they would.
