I purchased "The Big Deal" in early August. Justin was in contact with me via email within a few days and indicated that he would provide more specific dates for the service later in the month. As promised, he reached out in late August with a timeline of what to expect and when. Everything was done as expected. I would use this provider in the future.

I would like to give a good review but cannot. I also cannot give a bad review. I know they were there and did the aeration. We noticed plugs of dirt in the back yard. However, I was not able to see any signs of fertilizer or seed. I'm not saying I did not get the service I paid for. I just am unable to tell. I would suggest that on providing a service to a homeowner who is not present, to leave a card saying they were there. I may not have noticed the plugs of dirt for days after the service was provided. I would classify my review as neutral.

We called the company that morning to determine when they might be coming to perform the work so we could mark where the sprinkler heads were located. The representative told us he would call us and let us know when they would be coming. Later that day I heard someone working on our property and to my surprise it was Rush Home Improvements. I told the worker that I had just called the company and he replied that it was probably a mix-up. The office was called because we were not able to mark the sprinkler heads and we wanted to inform them of that fact so there would be no issues this spring if there was damage. At this point I have not received a call back.

Very good. Owner was VERY responsive to my inquiry and request. I appreciated his attitude toward the quality of the company's work. I was pleased with the outcome.

I bought the big deal from them. Overall, they did a good job as they promised in ads. Both driveway and walkway were cleaned. Will use them again.

They arrived a little earlier than scheduled and did a great job. Good equipment. We are very pleased for the service performed and the price for the service.

After purchasing the deal, I received an email from Justin with his schedule, and details about the fertilizer and grass seed he would use on the lawn. J. Rush arrived during the period I expected based on his schedule and aerated the lawn. After aeration the lawn was fertilized. The last step was to clean the sidewalk, driveway and patio with a blower. Nice job.

It turned out very well. I didn't spend anything additional. It was awesome. I would use them again in the future.

got an email telling me what week they would be in the neighborhood to perform service. I was given a range with no specific time so if you want to be present to observe the job you couldn't do it. no note or card on the door to let you know it was even done. after several days of inspecting my lawn to check if the service was actually done. I noticed some grass seeds spread around base of one of my tree. since I didn't witness the service I am only speculating but it didn't seem like a seeder was never used. I have come to the realization that this was a get what you pay for moment. I would not recommend this service questioning the overall quality of material and application.

Justin did good job. He also made effort to communicate with me and scheduled his time around my regular mowing schedule.

We applied and paid for this work through an Angie's List "big deal." The supplier sent us an email explaining the materials and the proposed schedule for treatment as well as contact information. The supplier sent a follow-up email telling us the work would be done that week. We were not home when the work was actually done so we had no direct contact with the supplier but the work was done as planned. We're happy with the results.

Seemed OK, but several emails asking for specific dates went unanswered. Also, I was not home when service was performed, and only barely noticed that the aeration was done. They did not leave a note on the front door they had been there. As for the over seeding, I just have to trust them as I could not see if any seeds had been put down on the existing lawn.

The work that has been done is great. It's just very hard to get him scheduled since he is so busy. The second round of my landscape project didn't get done this fall. Hopefully this spring I will be towards the top of his list.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went not really well. They were no show on appointment and they’re not being good about getting back to us about scheduling. They’re not being professional in behavior. The service itself was fine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I didn't pay any additional. I would not recommend them. They planted the tree too close to my driveway. Once the tree gets big, it will hover over the driveway. It is a big bushy thing so it will be hard to walk on the driveway or park. In his email he said that he would keep it 6 feet from my walkway and he didn't. He said he would move it in a couple of weeks and that was in August. The 4 azaleas died on me. The roots were exposed so I contacted him about why they were exposed. He sent somebody out to cover up the roots. By then they were dying and they replaced them. They look like they are dying again and I water them religiously. He was supposed to come and check them but he never showed up.

I was notified by email in advance of the service date. We had a rain storm the day the service was to be performed, but the company came out the following business day. On that date, there was a problem with the aerator, so the service was delayed one more time. On the subsequent day, the service was completed and it appears to be a very thorough job. Following completion, the worker used a lawn blower to clean debris from our side walks and drive. He also removed all the irrigation marker flags that I had placed.

The shrub removal went fine but the small tree appears to have already died.

The service was actually pretty good. There were no additional charges other than the price of the big deal. They are good at what they do. I trusted their judgement on the plants. They were knowledgeable about what plants should go where whether it is going to be partially shaded or full sun.

Consultant was on time for our scheduled appointments, willing to accommodate my work schedule. Consultant listened to my explanation of what I was looking for and took notes during the discussion. At the end of our conversation consultant read back notes to confirm what work would be done and which plants would be installed. Owner followed up to confirm that work was performed as discussed and that I was a satisfied customer.

I was very impressed with J. Rush. We purchased their Angie's List Big Deal, and they reach out within days of my purchase. Justin very clearly communicated his timeline for completing the work, and was very receptive when I made a special request. He followed up to confirm when the date of service drew nearer, and performed the work as promised. We are very impressed with the quality of the work, as well. We've had struggles growing new grass in a few areas of our lawn, and grass began to grow in at least one of those areas within about a week of their service. I am very happy with J. Rush's work and would definitely use them again.

The man was very nice and he even cleaned off the patio. The work was done to my satisfaction. The price was very reasonable. The only downside is he did not come on 9/10/13, the date of my appointment. I emailed him that night. The next day I had an email with an apology for not contacting me; they couldn't make it due to running behind. I would use this contractor again.

They were really great. They actually came out twice because the equipment the first time could only do the front yard because it was aerating and then they returned and finished it. They did a great job and very accommodating.

Everything turned out fine they did a good job.

The communication were excellent. Brian came out as promised. Suggested a choice of plantings. We agreed on locations. Within a few days, received a call to schedule work. Brian arrived as promised and completed the project in just a few hours. Provided care instructions and encouraged further contact with any questions. Very pleased with the overall offer and results!
