I must begin by stating my husband and I are extremely meticulous and hold our hired help to the same standards. In our 30 years of hiring, this is the first company that lived up to our expectations based on their own standards. From the moment I met Aaron, I was impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to provide advice based on his vast experience. We had the majority of our 'new build' interior painted (including ceilings) and couldn't be happier with the results. The team was punctual, always professional, polite and just a pleasure to work with. All areas of the home were protected, with all moldings being taped and caulked. And even in the midst of me changing paint colors at the last minute, Aaron was very cordial and sincerely wanted me to be happy with the results. Sunlight Painting will be hired for all our painting needs and we would recommend them to anyone seeking interior or exterior painting in the future.

DIDN'T RETURN TO FIX PROBLEMS. PAINT PEELED OFF DOOR BECAUSE WRONG KIND OF PAINT WAS USED. SPOKE TO OWNER ABOUT PROBLEMS WITH DOOR PAINT AND PAINT SPLASHED ON AREAS THAT WINDOWS SLIDE UP AND DOWN. HE CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME THAT THE CREW WOULD BE BACK TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT NO ONE CALLED OR CAME OUT. WHEN THE CREW SPRAYED THE STUCCO THEY OVERSPRAYED THE WINDOWS WITH PAINT. THE WINDOW CLEANERS HAD A TOUGH TIME GETTING ALL THE PAINT OFF. ON SEVERAL PLACES WHERE A PAINTER GOT PAINT ONTO THE WINDOW GLASS HE USED A METAL TOOL TO SCRAPE THE PAINT OFF AND LEFT PERMANENT ETCHINGS ON THE GLASS. OVERALL THE HOUSE LOOKS GOOD. IF ONE OF THE PAINTERS HAD COME OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEMS I MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RECOMMEND THEM.

I thought they did an excellent job. One of the things that was really helpful was that they had a consultant who came prior to them showing up to help us with paint samples and picking colors and giving us an overall advice on the best way to paint the whole thing because the great room and the foyer are two level entry way and the ceilings are really high in both of those areas. They really did a good job helping us make sure that we got the right colors and making sure it looked very good overall. They were right on time; they did a really good job of cleaning and moving the furniture. They came in, got to work, did not waste any time, and did a really good job.

They started on Wed. and finished Fri. afternoon. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them in a minute.

I liked their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond. I had asked them to do a few extra tasks including trimming a few branches and stopping leaves from getting in the gutter. They are very thoughtful and gave me an Angie's List discount.

Good communication, punctual, pleasant experience. Good workmanship, very professional. Aaron also willingly painted the closet along with the bedroom walls, and did a great job.

I found Sunlight to be very responsive and easy to work with. This is the busy season and they did a good job getting us scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. My wife was the one at the house while they worked, she said they were all very friendly and professional. One of the workers knees went through the drywall on a part of the ceiling that sticks out from the wall, and they apologized and had it fixed the next day. I don't expect things to go 100% right all the time, but I do hope that a company will make whatever went wrong better. Sunlight certainly lived up to that standard, and it makes me all the more willing to recommend them.

When they painted they were very neat and clean. Everything was taped off and it was done exceptionally well. They cleaned up after themselves and left nothing behind.

I love them! I will hire them again and again and again! We've hired them three or four different times. They do a beautiful job. They do painting, exterior, interior, and drywall work. They have the best drywall guy there. We have an older home that has a lot of problems with plaster. We had to have a lot of plaster work done and it was beautiful. Once they give you a bid that is the bid, they don't change the price. I had some rooms in my house painted and I wasn't happy with the color. They repainted the rooms for a minimal amount because they just want their customers to be happy. They even stayed on the job and completed the repainting without scheduling an alternate date/time to finish the job. I think they are much less expensive than other painters and they do a better job. They are fast and do really good work.

The team, led by Bill, did an excellent job. They went right to work each day and cleaned up all materials every night of this 7+ day project. The job required more prep work than they originally anticipated and they did a second coat on the deck (quote was for one) since we did a color change. There was no additional cost for this extra work. The only problems were a little over-spray on some of the windows and a few sticking windows from tacky paint; both were addressed immediately by Aaron. Great team, hard working and great attention to detail. The house looks great! We will definitely call them for future painting needs!

We like them. They call us back when we call and ask for them and leave a message about calling us back. They were good and came out when they were supposed to and were prompt. They haven’t done the work yet, but we are going to use them.

Aaron and his crew painted the exterior trim, windows and gutters on our home in spring of 2009. Aaron also replaced some damaged/rotten wood as they painted. They did a great job and were great to have on-site. As we were very happy with the exterior work, we had wallpaper removed and ceiling and walls painted in our two-story foyer. Both projects were finished on the schedule we expected with no surprises. Aaron and both crews worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, and worked within our schedules. I am scheduling more work with Sunlight now.

The trim was power washed a few days before the painters arrived. The painters replaced wood trim in a few places before they began the painting. We were pleased with the results of the painting and wood replacement. They even cleaned a window that we couldn't reach. Aaron was very responsive and returned to touch up spots. I would definitely hire this company again.

I called Aaron after receiving a positive report from a friend whose house he painted last year. He responded quickly and came out and gave me a quote. He was able to provide me with a professional folder with information about his company and a written quote. He does require 25% down. I was able to schedule with him to fit the timing I needed. He provided a free color consultant from Sherwin Williams who came and was able to provide suggestions and larger samples of colors for our home. He power washed the house about 4-5 days prior to the start of painting but did not wash the gutters at that time. When I asked him about it, he said that those would be hand washed (which they were.) Aaron was very responsive to phone calls and delayed painting one day from the scheduled start due to previous rain and a need to let the house dry prior to painting. His work crew led by Bill of 4 men came exactly on time or early each day and worked very diligently for 4 days to paint my home. They were neat, clean, polite and cleaned up after themselves. They were responsive to any details that needed to be addressed. Aaron was on site daily helping and/or supervising. On the last day to finish up the job there were approximately 7 men working on our house. Despite needing to add an extra coat of paint to all trim (3 coats instead of 2) in order to get it to cover, the job was done in the estimated time. Sunlight Housepainting does give a warranty to its work as well.
