Happy: Salesman was great, very informative. Materials were delivered, started when promised; called ahead of time. They completed my fence in 1 day; their trash was picked up the next day. Not happy : they did not submit the Design Review Board Application until a month after the fence was installed, and that was after I called my HOA to ask for a copy and found out that they (the HOA) never received it. When I asked Revive Remodeling about it, he reassured me that they did everything according to the HOA General Conditions, but after receiving a copy of the application with the diagrams, I'm not so sure. Time will tell if I get a violation letter or not.

The company completed my fence installation in about 3 1/2 hours. one technician (Tom) worked alone and was the best I have ever seen. The price was very competitive and they will be my "Go to" contractors in the future.

We were very pleased with their service. Salesman was very informing. They delivered as promised. Said it would probable take two days, however, built our new deck in one day. Excellent work. Would recommend Revive Remodeling. Crew was very professional.

The fence was installed in one day. Conditions were not ideal because of cold, wet weather but they got the job done. Matt was great to work with and answered my numerous questions promptly. They hauled away the old fence at no additional charge and offered 20% off of my next job with them. Every time I look out of the window, I say "I love that fence". Great job!

Dan has tried to be responsivle but the subs have been a disappointment. Quality of cabinets was not good. Agreed details during sale haven't been met. Subs have taken a ridiculous amount of time to complete the work and sometimes don't even show up. We were told we would be 1-2 weeks without a kitchen and it has been over a month. Would not recommend.

Owner, Mike P. WAY too difficult to work with, too confrontational, work crew tendency to walk off site (we were having a deck rebuilt). Were told entire deck would take 4-6 days-WRONG! Took almost FIVE MONTHS for entire deck competition and even now screw covers still missing since they had taken off to replace vinyl posts that were falling out. Promised to come back that day (2 months ago and NEVER did). Covered flashing on back of our condo, my brother-in-law in another city (a builder) drove all way over since flashing CANNOT BE COVERED, & Mike got verbally nasty & yelling. My bro-in-law just stood there said fix it or he'd get his own crew in and Mikes check would be yanked. Still cost us over $300 extra for Mike's stupid mistake. Used composit and his crew didn't even secure bottom of privacy side. Mike never shows up to check on anything, rarely answers calls when he does he's in a HORRIBLE mood yells at you then hangs up. WHY IN THE WORLD IS REVIVE REMODELING LLC ON HOMEADVISOR?? HORRENDOUS COMPANY!!! WOULD NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY!!!!

Contracts work out to unskilled labor room addition built by deck builders roof will not stop leaking nailed drywall up instead of screws walked out on first contract still emwants us to pay on 2nd one

This company is awesome!!! They installed a privacy fence and repaired a gate for me. The customer service (Matt and crew) was out of this world and the quality of work was fabulous!!! I got everything that was promised to me!!! We are very happy with the end result!! Five stars all the way for these guys!! Thank you Revive Remodeling!

Great job, Great Company!!!

I hired Revive to replace a concrete porch with wood. I chose them NOT because of the positive reviews, but because of the NEGATIVE reviews. No company can be in business that long without some bad reviews, but they responded to and addressed all the problems and in the end the customers were satisfied. I gave 4.5 stars only because the salesman did not communicate well with the installers what it was we wanted. We were charged for one type of porch but they installed another. Initially we got a standard deck with rails and rough cut unsanded fence skirting and posts even though we paid for custom rails, posts and skirting (the salesman did not indicate anything custom to the installers). The porch was nearly finished when I saw the problem and the workers stopped immediately and called Mike P. They said they would tear it out and start new the next day. The next morning my husband called Mike and asked him to come out personally to inspect the work. Mike showed up within 30 minutes and by the end of the day the porch was completed and was exactly what we wanted. Negative reviews that have been made right tell more about a company than positive. Mike was very professional and we will call Revive again for other projects.

The time it took from contract to install took a little longer than expected

Mike with Revive Remodeling sold us on a deck and took a retainer and he told us it would take a week or two for the permit and the HOA to issue the paper work he said he would take care of both because he works with both. Two weeks went by and I called Mike he said Columbus was behind in their permits due to a busy summer construction season another week goes by he said permit should be any day. Checking more into this Mike had his license revoked for 60 days in Franklin County. How can Home Advisor recommend a person like this and how did they not know. We had to wait 2 months for him to start. As soon as the license was restored work was started and finished. Mike never called to see what I thought of the job one way or the other. He does not care about the customers. When meeting with my daughter and I to speak about the deck, he never directed conversation toward my daughter who had just as much input on the deck as I did. Everything was directed toward myself. At one point my daughter brought up a point about thinking the deck would be too small at which Mike just said "your wrong". The crew cut a drain line so I called Mike which was before the inspection and the deck boards were put on. This was not fixed I had to call Mike again to ask for it to be fixed and told him it would have been easier before the deck went on and his reply was the crew has really small people to crawl under and dig and fix the drain. He acts like people are stupid. Would not recommend Revive with Mike at the helm. I would think HomeAdvisor would not recommend somebody who has had their license suspended-HomeAdvisor really needs to do more research on who they recommend.

Fast, friendly, quality service at a fair price.

We originally had several estimates for the deck but Mike was the first contractor that demonstrated a true concern and attention to what we wanted. The deck turned out great and was finished in a reasonable amount of time. The worker was very professional and we have received several compliments from our neighbors. We have also contracted Revive to remodel our bathrooms and kitchen.

Everyone that worked on the project was easy to get along with and very professional. The porch turned out beautiful.

We hit some early bumps with scheduling and the first person they had out. After a couple times of being late I spoke to Mike and he fixed it immediately. From there on out if was prompt, quality work.

Three young men were courteous, knew their work and we were very satisfied with the quality of work and the speed of having the deck built in one day. EXCELLENT!

The work that was done was a very inexpensive minor remodel of a very small bathroom, which included replacement of the bathtub/shower and repairing some drywall. Due to some problems with some of their normal employees not being available, a subcontractor was used and their work quality, specifically finish work, was not acceptable. The company representative fixed the problems created by the subcontractors, but I was a bit disappointed that we had to go through the process of having to get the initial work corrected. That being said, overall, for the price, it was a good value. I felt that the actual company representative was upfront, honest, and professional. He did his best to finish the project to our satisfaction.

As I was reviewing the contract prior to starting the job I discovered the fence to be built wasn't as I requested. I felt I wasn't really being heard during the assessment of the fence I was asking for. I love the fence. The workers did a great job. The latch for the gate wasn't on the side of the gate I preferred (I wasn't asked) and the place for a lock is smaller than stronger locks need. I will need to ask for the cost update receipt for insurance purposes, etc. I assumed it would be sent to me..... wrong. Overall the fence is great, the cost was fairly good. Communication and listening needs some help.

Beware of REVIVE REMODELING, the business of Contractor Mike Pirwitz. We vigorously warn that REVIVE REMODELING is NOT RECOMMENDED for home improvement projects. We hired Mike Pirwitz in August to build a sunroom on the back of our house. The sunroom is still not finished after work began in September. Mike Pirwitz has used at least 4 sets of subcontractors to work on the sunroom over the past 6 months. We paid about $25,000 to date and have had multiple construction issues including continual severe leaking for six months on all 3 of the walls that were built, out of square corners, out of square pilings, out of square door & frame, dangerous structure integrity, etc. We requested our own city inspection which resulted in 7 code issues being identified. Mike Pirwitz’s subcontractors frequently failed to show for work and when they showed up it would be for only a couple hours. One crew used our patio table as a saw horse and made several cuts in it with a circular saw on three sides. They ripped our brand new OSU grill cover as well. We still need restitution on both items. Two new houses on lots behind our house were completely built during the time Mike Pirwitz initially started construction on our sunroom, that was to be completed in 4 weeks, but still is not finished. Mike Pirwitz sent me a text saying that yet another subcontractor was going to meet with Mike Pirwitz and me at our house on Monday, 3/28, to review the work that needs to be completed and that the subcontractor was going to begin today, Tuesday, 3/29. Not only did Mike Pirwitz and the subcontractor fail to show at our house on Monday, Mike Pirwitz did not have the courtesy to call or text me to let us know they would not be there or to reschedule. The subcontractor also failed to show at our house today to begin work. In our experience we found Mike Pirwitz to be irresponsive, undependable, unreliable, and not to be trusted to follow through on his word to for meet multiple deadlines we agreed upon during the past six months, including not even responding to a legal demand letter sent to him identifying a reasonable date certain for an expected completion of the project. We are extremely disappointed in the way we have been treated by Mike Pirwitz and will never use his company again for any project, no matter how small.
