Met at appointed time for estimate and responded with estimate in a speedy fashion. Work schedule and completed in very little time despite cold weather. All is back together and awaiting my painting it since it is too cold to paint this time of year.

Went very well. Fast, efficient and very professional. Is now my go to handy man provider.

Matt did a great job with all of the repairs. He showed up on time and is very professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

While he was a nice guy that showed up on time and was easy to schedule with, he didn't do a very good job. For the drywall repair, the wall has an uneven gash in it that he painted right over. Apparently that was up to his standards. He also did not clean up after himself and wasn't prepared with shoe covers. I had to clean up chunks of drywall from the bathroom floor and inside the tub both times he was here (1 to drywal and another to sand/paint). For the caulking job, he had to come back 3 times. First time, he didn't remove all of the clear caulking which had moldy spots. So, when he put the new clear caulk over it, you could still see the mold. So the second time he came and brought white caulking to cover it up, but I don't think he actually removed the old caulking as we had requested. So, that time it started crumbling off right away because I think there were too many layers of caulking. He came back a third time and finally removed the old caulking and put in the clear caulking which seems fine now.

I think he did good. It was ok. There was some outside work that they didn't do because it was cold and the weather was bad, but I was satisfied.

Matt came out and gave us an estimate on the appropriate time he would need to complete the services. He stated 3 days and we bought then right away. He is a very talented man and is in very high demand and is booked full for weeks. He showed up, worked hard and got almost all the demanding work list we gave to him. He was unable to paint the ceilings after the sky light removal due to the mudding of the area took so much time to dry. I liked his work ethic and would definitely use his services again.

Matthew was wonderful. Professional, kind, hard working. He was quick to contact me and work with my schedule. I needed soffit vents installed as I had no air circulation in my attic, only a ridge vent. He understood what I wanted and did the job in the freezing cold. I purchased the Angie's List 'Big Deal' but would hire Legacy again in a heartbeat with or without the Big Deal. I had one other quote for the work I wanted, the local handyman company quote was outrageous, Legacy completed the job I wanted with one person in less than half the time the local handyman company quoted. They (handyman company) claimed it would take with two men 8 hours to complete. Matthew completed it in about three hours. If you need an honest handyman who does quality work, call Legacy.

Replaced light fixture in the kitchen (I provided the recessed light and needed accessory) and dining room. Fix front panel of sink that would not stay. Rail holder on the step needed to be secure. Painted front door where the paint was peeling, luck would have it, that I had paint left over. Fix vent cover in the downstairs bathroom. Replaced dimmer switched for the dining room lighting to work properly, in which I provided the dimmer. Replaced a cover for a light fixture too high to reach, in the hallway. However, in any case, if I had used an electrician it would have costed a lot more. The men were prompt on arrival and the work was done professionally. I would hire this company many time over, they were excellent.

I was very happy with the service. I paid for four hours of handyman services for $176. I made a list of about 15 items that needed fixed in the house, from installing light fixtures with appropriate electrical boxes to weatherstripping the front door. I made the list thinking he'd only get a few items done but he finished everything, and this even included a trip to Lowe's to get some supplies. He replaced two bathroom light fixtures and patched the holes in the wall; caulked a bathtub faucet, fixed a ceiling fan that was getting ready to fall from the ceiling, weatherstripped the front door, fixed a broken kitchen drawer, and several other items. There was a problem with the front door locking after the weatherstripping was installed which I didn't catch until later in the evening, but he was there the next day to fix it (he had to use a thinner weatherstripping) and the door locks properly and I don't notice the cold draft any longer. The only downside - if there is one - is that he's pretty booked up so it took me about 4 weeks to get in. I'll definitely use him again, but wish it was easier to get on his schedule.

Matt did a fix project that was fine this was just an accidental charge.

Matt made and installed a wooden platform at the door from the garage to the house to ease the access for my elderly mother. She has significant mobility issues and it's difficult for her to use steps. He made the platform half the depth of the existing step, and wide enough she can use her walker without safety issues. He also installed a grab bar at the doorway for her to help stabilize herself and pull herself up/down the existing step. She loves it! She's amazed that he knew exactly where to install the grab bar so she could reach it. :) He was very professional in all dealings. He responded promptly to all communications. He cleaned up when his work was done and left the area immaculate. Thank you Matt!

He was punctual and prompt in replying to communication. I was at work but my husband said he was professional and nice. The exterior door was installed well, he did a good job. The tub faucet was installed well, however, I had to take the access panel off and tighten the faucet spigot because it was loose. The finishing work is what I am REALLY disappointed in. The soaker tub did not have an access panel so I told him he would have to do this. He cut the drywall and glued 2 pieces of wood trim on the sides of it with just blunt ends of the wood. One of the pieces pulled off when I had to remove the panel. When my daughter came to look at it, she laughed. It looked like a joke. He did not smooth the grout into a nice line so I had to scrape grout off of the granite and make a thin line and scrape off excess in other areas of the tiling. The edge pieces that framed the mosaic tile are not mitered on the corners, just placed butting up to each other. A couple of the mosaic tiles are missing. It was like an amateur did the work. I specifically looked to see if he did tiling and even sent a message asking if this work could be done by him and he said yes before I purchased the deal. He also broke one of the glass light shades above the sink when he removed a large mirror that was above the tiling and he had to put the mirror back a little higher than it was. He did offer to replace it, but my husband declined the offer. The deal was for 8 hrs. and he only took 6 so he had plenty of time to do a better job. He is able to do the replacements well but the finish work is terrible. I have to say that in the 25yrs that I have owned a house, this is the worst job that I have ever hired someone to do. It's too bad because even though this job was a deal, I would have used him again for other things. He did buy the grout and a part for the plumbing. But at $58/hr I would expect a better job. That is why I gave an F for price. He had a good rating so I just expected more.

He did a good job. He worked with our schedules, and it worked out fine.

Based on conversation with Matt prior to purchasing 4 hour deal, I purchased various materials I thought would be needed. Matt vented two second story bathroom exhaust fans to outside. Re-installed a light fixture over master bath vanity that had pulled away from drywall. He installed portion of 2x4 to secure electrical box I purchased and to center fixture over vanity area. He replaced missing piece of drywall and spackled as needed. I did not request any painting as I am unsure if I will repaint another color and didn't care to bother at that time with the few small areas that needed it - he did such a great job that not much will be needed if I decide to not change color. Inspected three windows that do not stay up in proper place. He noted needed part and will look into availability and cost for future repair. Replaced board on privacy fence for gate that hold three hinges. Removed board from bottom front of sink cabinets so I could access to do some weather-sealing as cabinets against exterior wall. He noted proper size and type board needed and will replace the backer board in future repair. Reattached board and reapplied trim board to it. Due to on and off rain not possible (not safe) for being on 2nd story roof. Matt did go to first story roof of garage and did inspection of various areas I discussed with him for potential future repair. Matt and I walked perimeter of house and I pointed out various area of concern, he also pointed out areas of concern I had not noticed. Will be purchasing another deal for Matt to do work in spring when weather is cooperative.

All this took only about two hours. I was impressed by how much difference someone with the right skills can make in a short time.

Everything went great, he showed up on time, and worked fast and clean to get everything complete. I would hire him again without hesitation!

Great.. He reviewed the list and got to work. He offered recommendations and i will be using him for future projects.

They were not able to schedule me until December 17th. So I decided to try to find a different company.

Purchased the deal and the company immediately notified me they would not be available until mid December. This does not fit our schedule.

Company was not available the days I needed the services completed. They were very cooperative though.

I needed work done within the week. The coupon did not say they would require me to wait until December 22. This was the next available appointment they had. This will not work for me. I think your "Big Deals" should specify the wait times. Please refund my money. I am already negotiating with another provider.

We couldn't arrive at a mutually agreeable work date to complete the order/work. A message was sent to me by Legacy stating they could not meet any of the requested dates.

Matt did a great job! He was professional and worked quickly to complete the list I gave him. He replaced a ceiling fan, installed a new ceiling fan in another room, installed a rail outside, cleaned and secured our gutters and fixed a kitchen cabinet drawer and a couple of other items all within the 4 hour period. I would definitely recommend him and use him again!

He painted one room with a small attached bathroom. He painted two coats, we were not expecting him to paint two coats. He was conscientious and painted until he was finished. We were very pleased.

Matt was great! He did a lot of work in the short time we had him at our home. He worked diligently to get everything accomplished. We had him install lights, rebuild a gate, fix cabinet doors and a squeaky floor, all of which he performed well. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
