1. Matt follows through: There are endless horror stories about contracts who don’t show up or never complete a project. Matt’s work is very thorough. He had several suggestions that we would never have thought of on our own that made the end result even better! 2. The quality of the work: There’s nothing worse than hiring a contractor, only have to have to hire another one to fix something the last one screwed up. Matt’s work is impeccable. If you’re a super picky type-a like me, you’ll be very pleased with the end result. 3. Matt knows his stuff: I have no construction knowledge whatsoever. Nor do I want to. Using Matt’s services allowed me to focus on the fun parts of the remodel, like picking out pretty countertops and new appliances, without having to worry about the technical parts of a project of this size comes together. I wrote him a check, got on a plane and went to Mexico, and came home to a new kitchen. It couldn’t have been easier.! A kitchen remodel is a huge investment! Matt is trustworthy, and clearly has a great deal of work ethic. We highly recommend his services. P.S. Went very well, hiring for another service

Everything was great. Two people came to complete the service. It took 8 hours to complete. They did a good job. They were very professional, on time and all that kind of stuff. They left the area like it was supposed to be.

He assessed the issue and fixed it quickly. Quality work at a very fair price.

Went well, on time, and responsive. Matt came back to our house to fix a minor issue and make sure we were satisfied with outcome of job.

We hired Legacy to install an attic exhaust fan. Matt was very responsive in communicating and got the job done on the scheduled day in just a couple hours or less. While he was at it, he mounted a hose reel to the outside of our house. I am very pleased with Matt’s work and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Will hire for every possible job they can do!!!! Matt has done many wonderful projects for us from replacing light fixtures, replacing and repainting all the exterior wood on our home to installing hardwood floors throughout our house most recently. He moved all of the furniture with great care, provided useful and money saving recommendations, cleaned up consistently to keep the dust to a minimum, works very efficiently and all for a fabulous price and did a wonderful job. Legacy has been an A++ for us!

Could not of been any better than what was done. I am very happy.

I had to order and research all the new equipment (shower, base, etc.), and during the installation the shower and base were improperly installed because he did not level the walls. The installation of the rail guard for the shower door was also wrong and and he put an unnecessary hole into it. Water leaks through when taking a shower because of this mistake. He cracked corner of our toilet tank cover. The floor tiles that were installed were also unleveled and the grout was missing. The paint on the walls were finished without detail and there are blemishes that can be found. Additionally, one of the window cover guards was broken after he worked on it. He didn't apologize or replace any items that he broke. There's no point in offering a 3 year warranty, if the job was done improperly in the first place. He refuses to fix these problems that I have "warranty" for, so the warranty promise is useless. To sum up my experience, he had broken and improperly installed the new expensive equipment without communicating properly (he didn't listen to comments or issues pointed out) and did not work to fix the issues presented during the service. The job was messy, unfinished, and the lack of experience for this job showed. I would not use or recommend this service to anyone looking for detailed and professional work for this type of job.

He installed the doors, however, there were cracks on the each door's walls after he finished and the paint job was messy and undetailed. He messed up wall paint. We had issues communicating and he did not work to solve the issues discussed.

Mathew was quick to respond that the coupon should have actually been removed by angies list. Explained that he was scheduled out and getting ready to have surgery but would honor the coupon and get to us in early November. Unfortunately this was outside of our time line for wanting to get this done. We ended up canceling the coupon but want to give a good review for the professionalism that Mathew exhibited.

Very pleased with he work Matt did. He transformed our sunroom into an actual room by removing the vinyl siding and replacing with drywall and adding trim board to match the rest of the house. What an improvement! The wood look flooring is a vast improvement too. I think installing tile and grouting is an art and I am very pleased with the job Matt did. Matt is also neat about his work space keeping it all organized and tidy especially when he leaves at the end of the day and then cleaning up when the project is finished.

He did an outstanding job - carefully removing fixtures before painting, placing drop cloths to prevent any spots; and installing doors, removing all materials. He is hard working - going above and beyond. I would happily recommend Matt to any homeowner!

He did an excellent job! Removed our old, very oddly built mantel and replaced it with exactly what we wanted. The way our mantel and built-ins are set up required a lot of custom design. He handled it with no problem and was done within just a few hours. Very pleased with the results and at a fair price. Very nice guy.

Working with Matt was a great experience from beginning to end. He is very professional and very knowledgeable (knows those construction "tricks of the trade" that only comes from experience). Months after the shed was put up, the cinder blocks settled and the shed door wouldn't close properly. This was no fault of the construction, the earth just decided to settle. Knowing this, we still contacted Matt for some advice. He got right back to us and said he would stop by to take a look at the shed. He arrived with a plan of action and the tools he thought might rectify our settling problem. Within 15 minutes of arriving, he was back on the road and the door has closed perfectly since. Even though our problem had nothing to do with the shed base construction, Matt didn't charge us for the work he completed. When future remodeling or construction needs arise, we will be calling Legacy Home Services!

Matt did a really nice job. The deck looks great and has relieved the sitting water issue we had previously. He arrived in a timely manner and when he said he would. He cleaned up all the debris and was very pleasant to work with. Would definitely use him again.
