Matthew hit it hard for 8 hours and was a real pro. I'm very picky about work done in our home and he is very talented. He also cleaned up his work areas and had all the tools he needed to do a variety of work.

I have found it is difficult to find someone to do small jobs so I purchased the handyman Big Deal. I'm so glad I did. Legacy provided good communication during the scheduling process. On the day of the work I was happy to get a number of small jobs completed. Legacy provided polite compliance to my requests.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. He did the service in about 7 and a half hours.The pricing was fantastic.

All I know is that he arrived exactly on time on the day that was agreed upon by my tenants. He performed all the duties required by their list and left everything neat and tidy.

I am extremely pleased with Matt. He was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant & showed up on time. Prior to today's visit, at no charge, he met with me to assess the time needed to do all the work on my wish list. Today he accomplished what we planned on having done, plus more, which was a super bonus. Everything looks terrific. He did a beautiful job fixing the outside of my house and my bathroom, and the other little jobs I hadn't expected would fit into the time we allowed, he did so effortlessly and graciously. He could have dragged out the scheduled work, but he accomplished the tasks in such a timely manner, he had no issue adding work we hadn't previously discussed. I highly recommend Matt to others. He is honest and takes pride in his work, and the finished product clearly shows that. I will be contacting him again soon to do an additional repair. It is often difficult to choose a provider, as rates are competitive. I believe I got very lucky choosing Matt. He was the right guy for sure.

I got quotes from anything from $600 to $700 and more just to do that, so I bought the deal for $199 for eight hours of labor and I contacted Mat to see if he would do it. He agreed and he went there, he looked at it, got back to me right away, and gave me a quote. He had to deal with the tenants and make sure they were home. He had to set a date for the job, which was about a month later because he was busy. He came on time, he did the job, everybody was happy with it, and I saved myself a lot of money! I paid extra for the material and that including the paint and everything came up to $130. It was still less than half of what people quoted me for that job. It was the first time I had used him and I am glad I found him. I have already asked him to do another job for me for the same house, so he will be replacing the whole front door of the house.

I had purchased the Handyman for a Day Angie's List Big Deal. Matt came by to look at the jobs that I had and he put me on his schedule. I appreciated the fact that he came to look over the job BEFORE starting so I had all of the materials in advance. Matt arrived on schedule and immediately went to work. My house is over 100 years old so there isn't a "normal" size to anything. I had 2 bedroom doors that would no longer close. Matt replaced them with slab doors and installed the hardware on them. The doors required a lot of cutting and sizing to get them fitted. After Matt finished that, he installed 2 bi-fold closet doors in one of the bedrooms. It also required cutting/sizing. After that, he ripped up all the carpeting and padding in both bedrooms, closet and hallway. I'm now ready to get the upstairs re-carpeted. Matt did a great job and worked the entire time he was here. I will have him come back for future jobs.

I had the list ready ahead of time and sent it to him via e mail. I asked if there were any chores he could not do. He agreed he could do it all but wondered if he could do it in the eight hours provided. Well, Matt did, and then some. I also said that I had purchased everything he needed however, I was wrong. We were missing a few things so Matt drove out to Lowes to pick up what we still needed. He bought the bathroom ceiling fan and installed it.

Matt was FANTASTIC!!! I can't put into words how awesome it was to have him for the day, and I will be sure to hire him again for any future projects. Quality work, quality guy.

Matt is smart, capable and pretty much able to do anything (except electrical work). I recommend him without reservation.

He arrived right on time, and was a very thorough and hard worker. I could tell he knew his stuff; I wasn't sure how difficult replacing the wood around the windows would be, and he made it look easy, and he found additional rotten wood that needed replaced. He showed me the extent of the rotten wood damage and repaired it with new wood. There were about 4 windows that needed attention, and one was really bad. I got some fixtures from Home Depot and he installed them in the half bath, he looked at our old toilets and recommended one be replaced, so I went to Home Depot and bought a new one, and he had it installed in 30 mins. He cleaned up after all his work and it all looks great. Highly recommend! We will definitely be calling him again, and he will probably be our go-to handyman. We have tons of home improvement projects that need done.

I called after he left as I found spots he missed. He did come back the next day and redo these areas.

It went great! Matt was extremely professional and courteous. He showed us what he was doing every step of the way and didn't deem the job 'complete' until all the odds and ends were taken care of.
