The work provided was excellent. All the work was done with great quality and was done very efficiently. I will definitely use again in the future.

I am seeking a refund from Angie's list could not get this scheduled in a timely manner.

The price was right. The work was completed very quickly. All drywall repair was perfect, including paint touch-up. Other handymen declined the job because the roof was high & steep. This was not a problem for Matt. He was professional, punctual, communicative, and very easy to work with. I would recommend to anyone.

We got Matt's name from Angie's list and he certainly lived up to his review. Matt came over to look at our condo, we had alot of work to do but only wanted one contractor. After going over our very long list with Matt he suggested several options to what we wanted to do and was happy to take all his suggestions. He came over and in one week painted EVERY surface in our 2000 square foot condominium. He painted ceildings, walls, closets, doors and all trim. We were trying to come up with answers to a mess we had in our utility room and Matt suggested cupboards which have worked out great. In every closet he took all the wire shelving out and replaced with wood and created a ton more storage space. He added a light fixture in our foyer and new ceiling fan in den. We were not happy with the clay tile in our kitchen, We asked Matt what he thought of replacing it with wood floor. After talking to him we replaced the floor with wood, took the carpet out of our dining area and replaced that with wood also. It looks fantastic, Matt did it by himself in 2 days and it is awesome. Made a huge improvement and as hard as I looked could not find one mistake. Because we had so much work to do, Matt asked our permission to do a couple of other jobs and come back in a couple of days to finish. I have no doubt that if we said we wanted him to stay and finish he would have.Matt came back when he said he would to finish everything else. 2 weeks later we scheduled to have our porch screened in, it looks fantastic. Because we are in a condo he had to do it to the associations specifications. He looked at other porches in the same area and it looks exactly like the others, We could not be happier. Even though Matt gave us an estimate we were a little nervous. We added alot of work to the original estimate and let him go ahead with the work. When he gave us the invoice we were in shock!! It was about 3/4 what we thought it would be. Now of course, since it was less than expected we keep adding more projects, we will keep Matt busy for awhile!! Matt never missed a day to come over, he was never more than 20 minutes late, worked hard all day and was out of our home by 5:00 every night. Many of our neighbors saw him every day and started asking him questions. I have no doubt many will use him. He is pleasant, professional with a good sense of humor, Did not try to intimidate me or make me feel concerned that his workmanship was in question. He is confident in his work without being overbearing. We had a problem with our refrigerator and he immediately said it was not his area but gave us a suggestion of who to call. The guy he referred us to was great also. I cannot say enough nice things about Matt and his company. We moved in from out of town and had no idea who to call. We were very lucky that we came across Matt's name and the company Legacy Home Services. We will always use him for any other work and refer him to everyone we know!!!

He was beyond punctual and efficient. He finished a long list of needs in half the time any other handy man has ever done in our home. Matthew will be our permanent handyman.

Matt worked so fast I ran out of things for him to do. Definitely worth it!

First, I'd like to say that the provider was excellent at communicating through the Angie's list portal, answering my query in a very short time. He also got a complete list of the jobs I wanted, and made sure he showed up with the materials he needed to complete them. He was on time, courteous, and very thorough. It was clear he wanted to make sure I was happy as a customer, because instead of stretching the jobs out in order to do less work, he finished each task list quickly and efficiently. I had him put together some porch furniture as one of my jobs, and he was kind enough to take the large cardboard boxes with him and drop them off at the corner firehouse in their recycling bins. I will definitely be using him again, in fact, I already have a to do list started for his next visit!

Matt was awesome. He showed up right on time and did an awesome job installing the laminate for me. Best of all, Matt was not satisfied with the job until I was satisfied. I misunderstood him when he asked if I wanted a transition strip into the unfinished laundry room, and despite being done with everything else and in the middle of cleanup, he was willing to make another trip back to the home store (the third trip of the day) to get another transition piece to put down. Very happy with our new room and we'll definitely use Matt again in the future.

Matt was professional and on time. He was knowledgeable and friendly. the door repair looks good and the house looks better than before. He even was very understanding of my very picky personality and I had lots of questions. He's preparing an estimate to finish our basement and some other work and we'll likely use his company in the future. highly recommend!

Matt is a very nice guy and punctual. My porch floor had interlocking boards that overtime absorbed too much water and began to buckle, and he replaced it with pressure treated decking. He did it for cheap and within 4 hours, which was great. He did not replace the shoe trim against house, which I finally did recently. He left a little bit of room between the boards for ventilation, which I thought looked a little wide at the time. As the boards have dried out and shrank over these 5 months there are a decent gaps in between some, up to half an inch in places. Some boards were installed with the blue stamp of the brand face up, so sanding and staining them to cover them up was a pain. And although I know it would have been hard for him to avoid, he trampled most of my budding tulips in the installation, none of which grew much this spring, consequently. So, if you do use him for decking, ask him to put the boards just about right up against each other.

He arrived on time and had all the tools and extras needed to complete the job. It was a tedious job and I had asked him to do some extra things while installing to make the pergola sturdier to be outside in bad weather. The job was completed as I had requested. Matt appeared to be very thoughtful in his attention to all the details The pergola was assembled and installed in a timely manner. I am very pleased and will call upon Matt for other items that I may need him to do. Thank you, Matt!

Matt did a great job! He painted the wood trim on my house along with the gutters and a couple downspouts and also my garage door. Looks great! Very nice guy! I even told him I had to leave to go out of town for the night and left while he was still there, so very trustworthy also! Definitely will hire him again!

Matthew Lust came and promptly provided a quote. Work was performed promptly as promised. He removed rotted wood on a corner of our home that extended the two story height of our home. The trim was then was replaced and painted. He left the remaining paint with us for use on other areas.

He did not use the proper tool. I wanted him to match what was already there on the other side. He used brush on long pole did not come out the same at all. He came back once and tried to fix it still not fixed.

It went well. I've worked with Matt several times. He had us buy the tiles and he picked them up at no additional charge and then installed them. Everything looks great.

Very courteous, professional. Quality was good to excellent depending on the nature of the task. Price was exceptional. This was the best experience we've had out of several "handyman for a day"-type offers. You don't realize how good someone is until you've tried others...go with the best!

Matt gave a very reasonable review, was easy to contact, and did the necessary repairs as promised. The step proved to be a little problematic because of the weather, and parts of it crumbled, but Matt has promised to replace it entirely when the weather warms up.

This is the 3rd time that Matt comes back to help us. Very easy to communicate with him. He tries his best to accommodate the time and needs for us. He fixed one shower door and an entrance door he previously installed to fit our need.

I needed to replace the entire front door at my property in Reynoldsburg because the frame was rotted and leaking. I contacted several contractors through Angie's list, but their quotes were surprisingly high. Then I found Matt, who came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace the entire door. He took measurements and even designed a new door for us on a manufacturer's website. We finally decided to order a custom-made door from Lowe's, and Matt agreed to install it. He did so as promised on a Saturday, and we are very pleased with the result.

Matt came out 4 times to do measurement and discuss about the project before we even start. I had cancelled starting date twice with him for different reasons. He was always pleasant about it. Good solid work. We hired him back for more work already.

Matthew was great about setting a timem to come and look at the jpbs we wanted done. He arrived on time and said he was able to do the work we needed. He was ablet o meet our schedule and arrived on time. He was unable to install the lock because the holesm didn;t line up right, so he put it all back. The staining and varnishing went well and loojks nice, but he left the painters tape on and didn;t clean up after himself. There are also some places mwhere he got the varnish on the wall. I was disappointed to learn that he plans to complete the work in four hours, even though the Big Deal said it was 'Handyman for a day'. I probably would not call him back. I've been very pleased with other companies' work and the only reason I didn;t call them was because of the Big Deal. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't the best, either.

I think he did a good job until he spilled paint on the carpet in my bedroom and did not tell me, and I did not find it until he left. Other than that, I was happy with what he did. He tried to deal with it when he did it, but he did not say anything, and I did not call him back. He came out in late August or early September because of my work schedule and things like that, but he was gracious enough to come out on a Saturday. He did some painting for me and some couple of other odd jobs, and it was fine. Like I said later that night when we walked in the bedroom, my daughter said that there was paint on the carpet. I just did not want to mess with it anymore. The carpet is soiled anyway. There were no additional charges to the big deal that I purchased.

The first thing Matt did was review my "to do" list and look at the projects I had listed. After that he got right to work and managed his time so that when the dry wall plaster was drying, he was out power washing or hanging shelves in my garage. He was efficient and did quality work and did a professional job.
