I can not say enough about the work and professionalism of this company. They were in communication with me about when they would be here and when the weather didn't permit them to work, when they'd be back. They cleaned up any areas they needed to use to get to the yard area they were working on, plus reseeded any area they crossed with their equipment if it was even the slightest bit damaged. We worked for over 5 years to find someone to do our job. I'm so glad we did, because I feel we chose the best!!!! Thank you so very much, Dr. Wood Arborist and Landscape Specialists! When we decided it was time to completely rebuild and enhance the landscape around our home, so we turned to Angi for landscape architects. Dr. Wood Arborist and Landscape Specialist (Jason and Ben) from New Albany were highly recommended and their reviews reflected an organization with many happy customers. Our project included: • extension of our concrete driveway • replacing two-tiered retention walls • building raised flower beds in the front of the house • replacing front step • re-edging flowerbed with stone • removing old garden beds and seeding with grass seed • adding concrete sidewalks, steps and patio • deck • new lighting to enhance our landscape We are “over the moon” happy with the results of Jason and Ben handywork. The retention walls and flower beds are gorgeous, they are ready and waiting for new plants this spring. The concrete sidewalks, steps and deck in our back yard are truly works of art. They embossed a compass on the bottom step that is breath taking. They also added lighting that truly enhances and illuminates. We appreciate their gifted creativity and technical skills in designing landscape features that truly showcase our home.

It went great. Jason explained up front that there could be weather delays. He provided several different estimates based on materials and style. There were no additional costs and he is not paid until the work is completed. He and crew were very conscientious about my dogs and gates. I would definitely hire again.

Dr. Wood Arborist & Landscape Specialist performed a total backyard remodel at my home in New Albany. Over the course of two+ weeks, he removed invasive plants, small trees, abundant ground growth, brush, dead trees/limbs and ground stumps, and he replaced it with 26 hedge trees, a raised planting bed with triple black mulch, lush green sod and four Norway spruces. I could not be happier with the project. He is responsive to messages and knowledgeable in his craft. His fixed firm pricing was in line with other competitive quotes, and he kept his promises on work days, progress goals and material quality. I highly recommend his services.

Because of rain, and other customers, lots of delays. But good quality work and extra grass seed installed without our asking. We've already hired them to take down 2 trees later this summer.

These folks were great! Email was very responsive, and the whole project was done less than a week after I reached out for an estimate. The team did a great job on our yard, which was a MESS when they started. We'd absolutely recommend them!

Excellent work. Finished as promised and was thorough at what they were doing. Finished the work with very little or I would say negligible damage to the lawn. Will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Jason and crew started the job earlier than expected. The crew did a great job of minimizing damage to the yard considering all of the rain we had. Jason was very flexible to our changing needs and priorities. The crew was detail oriented and didn't finish until it was done right.

The work went as described. I was notified a few days in advance that they would show up. They arrived as scheduled and completed the work timely. Take steps to protect my lawn and cleaned up after they were done each day.

Jason did a wonderful job with our limited budget. Replaced overgrown arborvitae with a Green Mountain boxwood. Trimmed a large overgrown taxus shrub. Pruned a Japanese Maple tree. Removed volunteers and ivy. Cleaned beds and mulched bed areas

Jason was very responsive to an urgent call I placed for help with a tree that had fallen on my home during a recent summer storm. He showed with his employee the following am and worked hard to prevent further damage to the house during removal. They were very professional and informative. He completed the job days before some of his competitors even called me back from my urgent calls I made shortly following the storm!

Went great. Had lots of big equipment. Very professional. Most of all i was impressed with Jason's knowledge. I have never found a company that is trees and landscape. Jason knew everything about the trees and did a beautiful landscape design.

Hired this company after reading other reviews. They were amazing. Removed 6 huge trees around my property. Gave me a 3-d design of what my project will look like. This company did a great job. I was blown away by there tree climber. He was amazing. They had the coolest little machine to carry out the logs and brush out to the curb where the chipper was. Was impressed with the whole project.
