+ -1 moreCATHY AND HER SON, TONY, REFINISHED MY LIVING ROOM, HALL AND FAMILY ROOM. THEY ALSO PUT NEW FLOORING IN A SMALL BATHROOM AND ENTRY WAY. THEY ARE A FAMILY BUSINESS AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, VERY EFFICIENT AND GOOD TO WORK WITH. MY FLOORS WERE BADLY STAINED AND I DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD TURN OUT AS NICELY AS THEY DID. I HAD 3 ESTIMATES, ONE TOLD ME MY FLOORS COULDN'T BE REPAIRED OR I HAD TO HAVE A MAHOGANY STAIN TO COVER THE SCARS AND STAINS OR REPLACE THEM ALL TOGETHER. CATHY RECHECKED THEM AGAIN AND TOLD ME THEY COULD BE REPAIRED WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. THEY WERE AND THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN AND PROBABLY WILL IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS TO HAVE MY BEDROOM FLOORS REDONE.

HOWEVER WE SELECTED AN ANGIE'S LIST COMPANY WHOSE ESTIMATE WAS APPROXIMATELY $250 LESS FOR THE 425 SQ FT WE WERE REQUESTING TO BE COMPLETED. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE $250 COST DIFFERENCE WOULD HAVE SELECTED CAVALIER FLOORING. IT WAS EVIDENCED BY CATHY'S DEDICATION THAT THEIR WORK WOULD BE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY TOO.
Description of Work: CATHY DROVE UP TO COLUMBUS JUST TO GIVE US THE ESTIMATE FOR SANDING AND REFINISHING HARDWOOD FLOORS THAT WE HAD TAKEN THE CARPET UP.

+ -1 moreTHREE BEDROOMS, LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM. MASTER BEDROOM IS THE ENTIRE TOP FLOOR OF A CAPE COD. ALSO APPLIED 'TROWLING' - A SAWDUST/SHELLAC MIXTURE TO FILL ALL CRACKS AND HOLES. CATHY AND LARRY WERE VERY UP FRONT WITH THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS AND WORK THEY WOULD PERFORM. THEY STARTED AND COMPLETED ON SCHEDULE. THEY WERE DELIGHTFUL TO WORK WITH - THE HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM DOES ALL THE WORK THEMSELVES. THEIR PRICE WAS A BIT HIGHER THAN OTHER BIDS, BUT I BELIEVE I GOT THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP THAT MADE IT WELL WORTH IT.

Description of Work: I ASKED THEM TO COME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE AND ENDED NOT HIRING THEM. THEY ADVISED THAT WE STILL HAD A LOT OF WEAR LEFT ON OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS. IN OTHER WORDS WE DID NOT NEED THEIR SERVICE.
