+ 2 moreOverall I am very pleased. Myke was very thorough and made sure I understood everything that is going on and what needs to be done to my chimney. He showed me how it's actually LOOSE from my house. It hasn't been anchored so we talked about caulking it, putting mortar in areas, etc. that could help. He explained to me what the ash dump door was and the benefits to making sure it doesn't have any holes or rusts. I had no idea. I could have set my house on fire! I would greatly recommend Sooty Myke's Chimney Cleaning to anyone needing this service.
Description of Work: Myke inspected my chimney, cleaned out the fireplace and chimney. He found that the cap was missing on my furnace flue so he is scheduled to come back to fix that. He also fixed my damper and made sure I knew how to operate it properly to avoid it being crooked every time I close it. The cap on my chimney was a little too big so he corrected its placement.

He took pictures and showed us before and after photos not to mention explaining everything to us in detail. We recommend Sooty Myke's to everyone. We would never use anyone but Sooty Myke's!!
