concrete repair
+ -1 moreOn Wed. they come about 9:30 and started tearing out the porch. they were careful not to damage the house.When the porch was gone they laid the new layer of block and compacted the old base. Framed in the porch this took till about 3:30 On Thur. they came at 8:30 filled in the base with gravel( as I said there was a four inch gap in the old one). leveled out my old stepping stone walk and framed it in. This was all done by the the time the concrete truck was to arrive at 11:00 Truck came a little after11 concrete was pored and leveled and sealed. This took till about 4:00 On Fri.morning they came back and took down the framing and cleaned up.In about three hours I thought they did a great job.
Description of Work: They tore out a old concrete front porch.That had gone back to sand and gravel in spot's. The old porch was pored on top of two layer's of concrete block.They brought in gravel and filled in the gap where the old base had sunken down about four inches. They also put in sixty feet by three feet of sidewalk, replacing stepping stone's I had for a walk. They told me that when when they tear off the porch that the top layer of block would come off also. I had three contractors bid they all told me that. Of the three contractors one said tear out the block and pour wall and use re-bar.. One said replace the block and use a fiberglass mix concrete no re-bar. United used re-bar and a fiberglass mix

sewer cleaning
+ -1 moreThey and an excellent company and I have no complaints about them at all. I believe they installed it also but I m not sure. We have not had any trouble. They come and service the unit twice a year. They don t need to bother me. There have been no problems with anything.
Description of Work: They come and service our system that is similar to a septic system. They clean the system if it needs cleaned.
