Boucher Plumbing

I called him at approximately 3:15 pm. On the phone, we discussed my problem and decided that I would purchase a new faucet at Lowe's and call him when I was leaving Lowe's so we could meet at my house 15 minutes later. We had discussed what was wrong with the faucet I had and he advised me what faucet to buy at Lowe's. We arrived at my house within 5 min of each other and he proceeded to install the new faucet. He left my house at approximately 5:15, two hours after my original call. The charge was 162.50 which I felt was fair considering the rapidity with which he responded. I will definitely call him in the future.

called boucher plumbing due to listiong on angies list. mr. boucher was prompt, in that he arrived when he said he would. however i was not at home when he got there. my wife let him in andhe began playing with our two dogs. after a few minutes of this he asked to go downstairs where the spigot came into the house. upon seeing the location he told my wife you've got to take that stuff off the wall and move the chair before i can work here. my wife was trying to get ready to go away and was in her upstairs bathroom when mr. boucher came upstairs to the bathroom (the door was open) and said he needed a stool or ladder as he left his off of the van. as my wife went into the garage to look for same he followed her into the garage.i arrived home about that time and gt the stool for him. he then took me to the spigot and told me what he wanted me to do in order to accomplish the replacement of the spigot. i then was asked to accompany him downstairs to assist him while he cut off the old spigot i then had to go upstairs to assist him putting the new spigot through the wall and get it connected. once repairs were made and i recieved the bill i was rather taken aback when i saw it was for $208.00 $65 service fee to get him out to the house, $65 labor charge for one hour some of which was spent playing with the dogs some of which was looking for a stool he did'nt have with him and some of which was spent telling me what i needed to do rather than doing it himself. the charge for parts was another $65 for a new spigot which could have been purchased at lowes for approx. $40. overall i judge the price to be too high for the service given and while i take responsibility for not asking what charges were to be expected i was not given any charges before hand (my fault for not asking, his for not informing) won't make that mistake again but won't call on mr. boucher again either

Location, location, location....Mike was the closest plumber so we called him. This seemed like an urgent repair since there was some water leaking near our fuse box! First contact, the weather was too snowy so he didn't want to come. (No snow tires on his van.) Mike came out a few days later. But he had not brought some materials he needed, and was reluctant to run back into town to get them. After some consideration, Mike got the materials and eventually the repairs did get under way. MIke enlisted my husband's help with the refrigerator repair. Mark (my husband) did most of the work, and now around our house, its a running joke about the $300 water line. Upstairs, the sink stopper was not replaced as promised. Mark (my husband) unclogged the drain. And we have the ugly black rubber pipe connector from the old to the new pipe. The work Mike did was neat and nice. Very professional. But, not everything was done as had been promised, and we thought the cost was high.

Mr. Boucher was called to replace a turnoff valve to an outside water source that was difficult for me to turn. He not only did that in a timely manner but also stabilized the pipe with my permission and without my having to ask him to. He saw what would eventually be a problem and took the initiative to fix it. He did an excellent job for me. His professional manner impressed me along with his humility. He was courteous and fiar in his charges. I would definitely call him again and would recommend him to anyone who values promptness,professionalism, and integrity. A very nice and pleasnat man to deal with.

My overall experience with Boucher Plumbing Company was excellent. They were professional. They were punctual and responsive. They did good quality work. I would use them in the future if required.

We called late Thursday night and Mr. Boucher after we got the new faucet on but the pipes were leaking. He wasnt able to come right then (we woke him up it was late) but he told us how to keep the pipes from freezing, how to contain the problem and he was out early the next morning. He fixed the faucet we put on wrong, took out all of our old 50+ year old piping put in new plumbing, put on water turnoffs under the kitchen sink so we wouldn't have to shut off all of the water to our house again if there was a problem again. He was here for a couple hours, cleaned up his mess, made sure everything worked right, even fixed our tub stopper for us while he was here. I feel the price was right, were 100% happy with his work, he offers free estimates, and even senior citizens discounts. He even told us that if he couldn't fix the problem there would be no service call charge. A great guy and the only plumber we will use!!!
