ARCHITECTURAL REMODELING

Description of Work: Add electrical runs for 3 ceiling fans with lights and hang fans. Also, install electrical runs and install 3 can lights.

Description of Work: Installed chandeliers and installed electrical outlets. Looked at some other concerns for us as well. He did a great job, left things neat and worked fast- quick and easy. We will definitely use in the future!!

Description of Work: After having Rich do an earlier project for us we contracted with himsd to build us a porch. He promised a lot of things and delivered exactly none. After he has your check good luck getting him to call you or show up as promised. We contracted on a Friday with Rich scheduled to start on a Monday. He was no-show/no-call through Wednesday and refused to return my calls. I ended up going to his house to find him and finally got his poor wife to get him to call me. Turned out he cashed our check and then went on to finish another job that someone was probably threatening him to finish. I demanded our money back and he acted all casual like it was no big deal. He paid me with a check that bounced. After threatening legal action the second check cleared. He is one of the most unprofessional, rude, scheming people you will come across.

Description of Work: July 15, 2011 we signed a contract with Architectural Remodeling (Richard Bennett) weather and products permitting to have service completed in 30 to 60 days. The foundation began September 7th, 2011. In February, 2012 we began asking when the project could be completed. March 20, 2012 project never finished. We had many issues. Rich Bennett for many days no show for work and if they did it was 11:00 or 12:00 when they would show up. Only working a few hours.The outside always looked like a trash pile. Didn't do a second coat on baseboards or fill in nail holes. Hardwood floors has boards that creak and some were split when installed. Some damaged from the roof leaking. Roof leaked because Rich left a hole in the side of the house from the dryer vent that he removed and didn't repair. We made many phone calls to him and no return calls. He promises many things, however he doesn't follow through and doesn't seem to care about his customers complaints. I think we were to trusting with this company. I could write a book about what wasn't completed or if done the quality was poor. We waited many years to add on a new kitchen to our very old home. We took money from our retirement funds. I can't express the disappointment and the lack of caring and unprofessional action that was demonstrated from this company. We now find ourselves in need of spending more money to complete or repair things which we paid Architectural Remodeling. WOW, the most unbelievable company to work with to try and get the job done and make corrections to their work. Its beyond my thinking that a company walks away and doesn't try to work out the issues or concerns of their customer. The last unreal problem was when we found the siding which was installed wasn't the product stated in the contract and wasn't discussed with us. The product is a siding which will break down and given the weather in Ohio will have to be replaced. Another expense by us which we paid for James Hardie Board Fiber Cement siding.

Description of Work: They came and remodeled our home, they did electrical and plumbing and some tile work.

Description of Work: KITCHEN ADDITION, TEARING OUT CLOSET, AND SOME BATHROOM SPACE TO ENLARGE KITCHEN, NEW COUNTERTOPS, CABINETS, AND FLOORING.
