Trim Masters are awesome. We have no complaints, they did everything in a timely fashion, they said everything would be done in 3 weeks and they completed the job in 2 weeks and 3 days, so they were ahead of schedule. They were very professional, the work is beautiful and they cleaned up each day and each night. They were professional in all aspects. Their prices were reasonable. We had 6 bids and we chose them. I absolutely enjoyed the crew that did the work. They were easy to talk to and I was not afraid to leave them in my house while I ran errands. They were very trustworthy. I would use them again as well. Their punctuality was above and beyond. They just came last week and walked through and took pictures and they asked if there was anything that we had a problem with and there were a few things that I asked about and they said no problem they will come and do it. I have already recommended them to other people. I am so excited about how happy we are with the work.

The execution was excellent. Since we had visited the tile shop and the cabinetmaker - we had developed sketches of what was expected. Scott showed up on-time the first-day and every-day of the job, and displayed a superior work ethic. He completed the demolition on the first day and soon began laying out the new structure. Scott let us know in advance if his schedule was changing, and occasionally, he had a helper join him. Once the structure was in place and the tile work began - Scott shifted to a more deliberate pace - taking care to do things with great precision and craftsmanship. I asked Scott to stop work and feel free to discuss anything that he personally thought might look too-busy, and he did make a few adjustments to the plan as he went - after discussing it with us. I got into the habit of walking through things after work each evening - and I would call Scott's cell phone to discuss any questions. On some days Scott would leave specific instructions regarding what we should be looking at, and what decisions we had to make. Most days, Scott arrived so early we could discuss these decisions the next morning, before I left for the office. We had very few miscommunications and most were minor. These included how some of the switches were wired to lights, and the miter joints on some of the skirting tiles around the floor. These items were immediately resolved and rectified to our total satisfaction. Also, when my wife did not like the design of the upper half of the linen cabinet - which was built just as I had sketched it out - the Trim-Masters team quickly remedied that situation as well. The bathroom is a great functional space and looks really sharp. Neighbors and friends who have seen it have been very impressed. My wife and I are thrilled with the results and we enjoy the upgraded space. I have already recommended the Trim-Masters to other neighbors, and have now decided to write this review.
Description of Work: Our house was built in 1990 and - after 22 years - upgrading our master bath had become a major priority. We expected to completely gut and rebuild the entire master bathroom including demolition to the floor and walls, removal of a shower stall and soaking tub, relocation of some plumbing, new sub floor, new tile floor, new tiled shower stall, new commode, new linen cabinet, new storage cabinet; and two new vanities with sinks including faucets, mirrors, and light sconces. We reviewed the listings on Angie's List and invited about five of the top rated plumbers and remodeling contractors to view the bathroom, share some ideas, and quote the job. Most of the quotes were in the same ball-park and their ideas were similar. We figured we would visit the Cincinnati Home & Garden Show and get some good ideas to share with the contractor we picked. At the show my wife saw the display that that Scott and Dwayne had created - and it quickly became the mental image of what she wanted in our house. Scott was at the booth when we visited the show and, as the execution guy, he was able to answer every question we had. The craftsmanship of the display was very impressive. We invited Dwayne to our home to quote the job and I checked Trim-Masters on Angie's List. Though they were on Angie's List - there were no reviews of their work. When Dwayne came to our house he was very prompt and well prepared to discuss the work - like the other contractors with which we had already talked. He gave us contact information for several sub-contractors and encouraged us to visit them and get an idea of the materials he would be using on the job. As we visited folks on Dwayne's list we were impressed by them; and they all had great things to say about working with Scott and Dwayne. The Trim-Masters quote was a bit higher than the other two contractors - and they didn't have a lengthy track record of reviews on Angie's List. However, Dwayne had impressed us with his professionalism and we had gained confidence in the team as we talked to their sub-contractors. We also knew that the Trim-Masters quote included more expensive materials such as travertine tile and custom cabinets. We decided to award the work to Trim Masters and it worked out great.
