The painter, Jim, came exactly at the scheduled time. He had a partner to help so the job was to be done in four hours. I also had paint available for the master bath in case they had time to get to it. They had to apply two coats in the bedroom since I chose a darker color over a light color. They did an excellent job and also managed to get one coat of paint done in the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy when they left. I am very satisfied with the job.

The painter was top quality painter and had no splatters of paint anywhere. These were high vaulted ceilings and tough to paint with ladder and extension pole. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of painting. I would definitely use again.

James (the painter father in law) was right on time, did a quick job, not one speck of a spill, and he was extremely nice. I have never heard of such a wonderful job for such a reduced cost! I cannot give them the amount of stars they deserve.

The painter arrived on time and was efficient in his use of time. Used drop cloths to catch droppings and worked with the owner on special requests related to recent repairs of the siding.

Joe and Jim are true craftsmen with an excellent eye for detail! They were highly professional and made recommendation to enhance our ideas for a truly outstanding final product.

I needed some emergency exterior painting done In October before the weather turned too cold to paint. I called five different painters and Joseph Home Improvement was the only one to respond. Jim Harrington came out and surveyed the job, gave me a quote, which I thought was very reasonable, and told me he could do the job the next day. I was more than pleased with the quick response and I am very happy with the results. I have more work to be done in the spring and I will certainly be calling Joseph Home Improvement to do it. This was a special deal for 8 hours of service for $199. I can't say enough about the high quality work we received for this incredible price. He was prompt, professional, and got so much work done in the 8 hours. I will be using this company again for sure.

Arrived on time. Jim was courteous and got right to work. The painting was very professional and he carefully protected the stairs from any possibility of splatter.

I bought their 199.00 deal for 8 hours of painting for one person or 4 hours of painting for 2 persons. I had scheduled the work 3 months in advance so when the day came and I had not heard back confirming again since scheduling I assumed someone would be there @ 8 am. Not so, but after a quick phone call I found out they start @ 9 am. Jim arrived promptly @ 9 am and went straight to work. He painted the walls and ceiling of my entryway, living room, hallway and up to the kitchen area (Note: I have cathedral ceilings). He did not take any breaks, he only took a 1/2 hour for lunch and kept on working the rest of the time. He is very professional and his work was outstanding as was his prep and clean-up. Definitely would hire again! Awesome!

Jim, the painter, not to be confused with his son-in-law, Joe, the plumber (also a great service provider in his own right), and occasionally his sidekick, Mary, did such a professional job of painting. Before beginning to paint, all receptacles were removed, all patching, sanding, spackling, and other minor repairs were made, and the areas to be painted each day were prepped. Floors and furniture were protected, but in the entire job, I don't recall seeing any spots, drips, or smears in any of the rooms. I've never seen anyone who could paint like Jim. I am awed by his skill - he painted one accent wall completely with a brush (narrow spaces around sliding glass doors), and every line is clean, crisp, and no straying onto the white woodwork or crown moulding. I will have him back soon to touch up the kitchen once my cabinetry has been installed in there.

Joe removed our existing wet bar and bathroom. He replaced the wet bar with a new cabinet and stainless steel sink. He put marble tile on the counter top and back splash. He replaced the flooring in the bathroom with marble and put in a new toilet and pedestal sink. The two areas look amazing. He is honest, punctual and very responsive. He is great to work with and I would highly recommend him. [Member name removed]

Jim came promptly at 9:00 ready to work. He and Mary, his helper, were extremely professional, friendly, and ready to work. They were at the job until 5:00 and the walls, ceiling and closet were painted with perfection. I felt Jim worked me into his schedule so I could get the room done which I really appreciated. I will be using Jim again for other painting jobs in the near future.

We purchased the painter for a day ($199), so we weren't sure how much exactly could be done. Jim showed up early to see where he would be painting. He was able to paint our living room and foyer in the day with only 1 coat. He does a great job and is professional. We liked the work he did, so we hired him again for another day. That time he brought someone with him and charged us $400 for the day. They were able to paint our kitchen, family room and a hallway. I gave a B rating for overall because we were hoping with 2 of them that they could have finished another room. That being said, I would still highly recommend Jim as a painter because he does a great job.

Room and trim looks great. You can tell he really cared about the quality of his work.

I purchased a Big Deal for 8 hours of painting services for $199. Jim arrived promptly at 9:00AM. He went straight to work and did a phenomenal job. He is very professional, efficient, and personable. He is a stickler for details which was very important to me The walls look great and he cleaned up everything when he was done. The only reason you could tell he had been here is the fact the walls are a different color. I chose Jim after reading the other reviews on Angie's list. My thought was to "test him out" with my self confessed very high standards. And he passed with flying colors! I have scheduled him to come back and finish the bedroom and then we will schedule him to paint the entire rest of my home. So glad I found him. I highly recommend him.

Jim was very thorough and did an amazing job. Was very professional and courteous. Highly recommended if you need painting done. Most painters just come in and paint, Jim taped up and cleaned up very well. Thanks!

Jim, from Joseph Home Improvement came to paint my woodwork and trim. He was punctual, friendly and did a fantastic job. The paint looks fantastic and made a huge difference. He treated my furniture with respect and cleaned up everything.I could not asked for a better painting experience and will definitely use them again.I highly recommend them.

He was punctual, tidy and extremely professional. He suggested I put a bright white semi gloss on the crown molding to give better contrast and he was right. It looks fabulous. I couldn't be more pleased!!

The attention to detail was AMAZING. Jim did a fantastic job - I would hire him again without hesitation. He took care to ensure everything was covered/protected before painting. Work ethic was amazing - he went above and beyond to ensure the work was completed and QUALITY. Did a great job with clean up afterwards. I have probably had 4-5 painters in this house over the years and he is far and away the best!

Joe is great to work with. He arrived on time all three days, did high quality work, and cleaned up after he finished. His price was very reasonable considering the amount and type of work. He charged by the hour for the half day and had a flat all day rate for the two full days, regardless of the type of work he was doing. The cost I listed included labor as well as the materials he purchased, including the door and hardware, paint, drywall, and other products he needed to repair the drywall, and toilet hook-up. He didn't mark up the materials he purchased for me. He is very knowledgeable about plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work. He also recommended a different color of grout for the back splash than I had bought, which really improved the look of the back splash, and gave me a suggestion of a company that could make a non-standard sink top for the vanity in another bathroom. I also appreciated that he explained everything he was doing and why before he did it. Joe works full time as a plumber and does handyman work on the weekend as he builds his business, so I did have to wait a few weeks before he could work my projects into his schedule, but it was worth the wait. I will definitely use him again for some additional projects I have.

Amazing is an understatement. Joe was the only person who told me what I wanted, could be done. We had three different big companies come in and tell me certain things just "couldn't work". Because of Joe's background in plumbing, all of my wants were non issues to him. In addition to creating a beautiful space, he really heard my concerns. I am a new mom and was worried about Dust/ debris circulating into my infants room. He made my concern, his concern. Really and truly respected ever wish we had. Amazing!

We decided to replace the flooring in our mudroom/laundry, along with installing a new sink. Joe returned my request for an estimate right away and was able to schedule me in fairly quickly. He directed me to a great tile store that was friendly and helpful. Joe picked up all the supplies needed to complete the job, including the tile I picked out at the store. He was professional and timely. He made sure to inform me of any possible problems he might encounter while moving the plumbing for the new sink, and for stacking the washer/dryer. He offered good solutions and completed all the needed work on time. The room, floor, and wall, look great! I would definitely use him again.
