My water heater died (during the weekend, of course!), and Joe arranged to install a new one the next morning. He shopped for the best replacement, and explained the reasoning behind his purchases. As usual, Joe was prompt and courteous. When the project was completed, the area was cleaned up and he explained the work he did on the new water heater and went over the bill. I was very surprised with the price; it was much less than I'd anticipated, especially on the weekend! Joe has also installed lighting, faucets, hung mirrors and painted for me, all with precision ( and patience!). I felt comfortable having Joe in my home when I was not there. One of the best things about hiring Joe for a job, no matter how large or small, is that I am confident that there will be no price gouging, which seems to be surprisingly prevalent in the plumbing field. I have had plumbers recommend equipment that was hundreds of dollars (even well over a thousand dollars) more than what he would install. How there can be such a broad range of pricing is astonishing. However, I know that I can trust Joe to recommend and install the best materials at the best price. It's great to have the reassurance of a reputable company like Joseph Home Improvement, especially since I'm not handy with fixing things myself. I would recommend Joe Tomasulo without reserve.

Joe was prompt in returning my calls and easy to schedule the project. He was punctual, courteous and did a great job. He painted a hallway and stairwell for us, and did a great job. We will definitely use his services for more painting projects in the future.

Jim came over and gave us a quote. We accepted. Jim arrived on painting day promptly at 9 a.m. and ready to work. He worked all day and by 5 p.m. Jim had everything painted, cleaned and put back. The paint lines are perfect. We see no oops.

Very good. He was on time and had all materials needed. He always made sure he cleaned up the work area. This was the second time I had him do work at my home.

Joe was able to do the work the day after I called, as he had another job nearby. He called when he knew he was going to be a bit late And arrived at the estimated time. He started work right away. My faucets were old & took more work to remove and needed shutoff Valves which had never been previously installed. He had all necessary tools and parts in his van. He vacuumed the work areas Leaving no mess. Price was very reasonable. I plan to have him return to do more work soon. He was very pleasant to have working in My home.

Exceeded expectations. Good with the dog, nice to the kids and the rooms look really good. I bought the special and after I saw what a great job he did, I added on 2 rooms and some touch up jobs. Will definitely use them again!

Joe answered all of our questions and gave us different options with different price points. In the end we hired him to do almost all of the work. His father-in-law, Jim, did most of the paint work for us. The work was always cleaned-up at the end of each work day and he stayed on-time and on-budget. One of the best things about working with Joe and Jim was that they answer their phones right away and get back to you the same-day if you catch them in the middle of something. We've purchased a second home and will definitely give them a call the next time we need something.

Everything was great!!! The upstairs bath needed additional preparation due to peeling paint. Jim scraped and sanded prior to Joe putting the finish coat on the drywall. In all areas of the interior, Jim caulked all baseboards and door frames, and filled all cracks prior to painting. Jim painted areas with sample colors to insure my wife would be happy with the selection (4 in all). The ceilings were painted white and the walls in the selected colors. Jim covered all floors and furniture and there were no issues. Jim showed respect for our things. Joe installed 4 new counter tops in the bathrooms. The exterior of my house is all cedar. Joe power washed the exterior prior to preparation. Jim caulked & patched the entire front & west side of the house. He sprayed an oil based primer to seal prior to the final color, again using the sample colors with trim color to insure our satisfaction. Jim caulked & and patched the back and east side prior to painting. Joe rebuilt 2 cedar chimney stacks and replaced damaged cedar boards. I am more than satisfied with the results of this project. Jim is meticulous about his work and will do whatever it takes to do the job right. I will continue to use Joe for work on my home and offer references as requested.

Joe arrived on time. Had all necessary materials, worked very efficiently. Installed new dry wall, taped and finished each area. Great cleanup. Have scheduled more home improvement work as a result of Joe's ability and his work ethic.

After several attempts to unclog the toilet, Joseph kindly recommended another company with camera equipment. I was very impressed with Joseph's work ethics and professionalism.

Joseph Tomasulo project manager and construction man came out to give me an estimate for Steve Jones Plumbing ( the company he works for ( Steve Jones is the company I hired but Joe did did the work) and such a fine job, I hope Steve won't mind me giving him a plug for his very good remodeling job . Joe was very friendly & knowledgeable about his profession. We laughed later when I told him that I asked him about 6 or 7 questions that I already knew the answers to. He got all of them right and then some. I knew right then that this guy really knew what he was doing. The master bath was completely gutted. All the sub floor was replaced because of water damage. New walls, new toilet, New tile floor & shower + a new sink. The Family bath room received a new bath tub, new walls + a new toilet. all the plumbing in the basement related to the project was replaced. He worked with us on changes we wanted to make throughout the process. It's taken about 3 weeks to finish, but my wife & I both said these bath rooms are so nice, they don't look like they belong in our house. A+ rating to Joe's Remodeling company. We definitely will be using him again on any construction projects. Joe and his helper Steve feel like family now.

I can not recommend Joseph Home Improvement enough to others. This is a quality based contractor who will not accept anything less than the job being done the right way. We have also used Joseph Home Improvement for our children's bathroom, and are getting ready to use them for our kitchen remodel later this summer. We will use no one else from this point forward. We have had pinhole leaks in our pipes from galvanic corrosion, and over the last few years we had accumulated quite a few holes from the various pipe repairs. Joe arrived when he said he would to patch these holes. He worked very cleanly, protecting our carpets and floors. He worked all of Saturday and three hours on Sunday. The work looks beautiful; the former holes are invisible. We couldn't be more pleased. And he's a nice guy too.

After a portion of my ceiling collapsed from a slow leak on my second floor, I was thankful to be referred to Joseph Home Improvements. Joe was not only professional and fair but he was honest and meticulous. Not only did he just patch my ceiling and reinforce it, but he painted the entire ceiling in the room so there would be no obvious discoloration. It took two coats. When he left, you would never know I had someone in my house doing construction. He cleaned up after each step of the process. I have already personally referred him to many friends and I purposely joined Angie's list so could possibly ease someone else's mind when they need his services.

I heard about Joe Tomasulo from a neighbor, for whom Joe had installed a new vanity. When she said he was a perfectionist, I thought, "Bingo! That's just what I want!" Joe was punctual, professional and personable. He asked for my "okay" when he put up towel racks and things, so that I would be pleased with their placement. He laid down drop cloths, so as not to drip paint or caulking on the countertops or floor. Joe worked at a steady, yet unhurried pace. It is apparent that he works hard and takes pride in his work. Joe cleaned up the calcium buildup (and other yucky stuff) on my shower and caulked it, making it look like new. I was most impressed with how he spackled the walls that the builders had hacked when they put up my original lighting. The spackling was smooth and sanded, then painted, making it look just perfect. No one would ever know what a mess it was before Joe did his workmanship. I was home the entire time Joe was here and he patiently answered my questions without being condescending. I would feel comfortable having Joe in my home even if I was not able to be there when he performed his work. Poor service/work apathy is so prevalent that I should have joined AL years ago. I would give Joe an A+ for his work and will definitely have him come back for future projects. I would recommend Joe without reserve to anyone who needs work done in their home. There may be people who are more finicky than I am, but there aren't many. His pricing is very reasonable. (If I could do this work, I'd have charged more!) *One more thing ... Joe was very kind to my dog. If you're a pet owner, you understand. :)

Several neighbors had told me about Joe, thank goodness I listened!! His work was impeccable....so much better than the original work done by the builder! Joe was here on time with endless energy! So happy with how this first job went, I'm going to have him do several other projects....tile my great room, re-tile another bathroom. Great rates!!! Excellent work!!!

From start to finish, Joe was here when he said he would be, and worked hard all day. He went to the Hardware Store to pick up supplies, was detailed in all he did. You could tell that he takes great pride in doing an excellent job.
