Description of Work: My husband contacted Becky Edgren, President/CEO after our Realtor met with her at a home we are purchasing. I spoke with Becky directly in the beginning of the process to understand more about the process, results, etc. From there, my husband owned the full process/ was the contact for deciding what company we would utilize for duct cleaning and ozone machines. He reached out to ServPro and from there scheduled Puroclean to perform the services. We were scheduled for the services on Aug 31, Sept 1 and 2. On Aug 30, Laura from Puroclean contacted me to pay 25% of the bill. I questioned why they were contacting me to pay the 25% when ky husband set up the service. I encouraged them to contact him to confirm payment and the amount we were paying since my husband set up the services, not me. In this conversation, Laura was not going to contact him and because I was asking questions about the payment, services, when they would be out to pick up the machines, odor results, etc, Laura requested I pay in FULL since I was unsure of their services and concerned I wouldn't pay the invoice. When I pointed her back to my husband and stated we would not pay in full in advance. Puroclean CANCELLED OUR SERVICE THAT WAS TO HAPPEN THE NEXT DAY. Which, puts a domino affect on our trades for plumbing, electrical, drywaller, painter and flooring. ..all while we are displaced from our home. WHAT COMPANY DOES THAT? This in itself told me A LOT. 1- Their policies are ddiscretionary, not what their contract states, "25% is due at time of service". 2- What type of business needs to collect payment in full when questioned about the details of their service (big, big, red flag). 3- All because I asked questions on their services, they told us to use another company. Ultimately, Puroclean did us a favor bowing out now before they performed below part services. So, thanks for helping us dodge a ball by not working with your company and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND not working with this company.

Description of Work: They were quick and even moved extra furniture around and put it back. They took out the old carpet and disposed of it too.

Description of Work: I had a water pipe break on the first floor. Half of the first floor was flooded and all of the finished basement. They arrived and were on top of the situation. They eased my mind and managed the flood in a very professional manner.

Description of Work: They were supposed to clean sewer water from basement and remove any water soaked materials from basement floor. The water was not completely removed and fecal matter was still on the floor. Rather than using industrial wet-dry vacuums, they attempted to use brooms, rags, and dust pans which were simply not adequate for the job. This was not a professional job.
