+ -1 moreMark was very professional and also a gentleman. He moved whatever furniture that needed to be moved. Both him and his assistant were very cordial and engaging. I am very pleased with the job that he and his assistant did. I had hired a so-called painter before Mark, who was recommended by an acquaintance. That painter not only did a lousy job but played his music and a movie on his IPhone without earbuds! When I asked for a second coat, he haphazardly did it and got drops and smudges of paint all over my livingroom and kitchen floors. With Mark, he brought all of his own supplies; all I supplied was the paint which he accurately instructed me on how much to buy, and I did not have to clean up behind him! I was just mesmerized by how well he went behind the previous painter and myself. I am so grateful to have found Mark and acquired his services to do a job that I was just not able to do myself, recovering from surgery and all. I am completely satisfied with his services and would hire him again (except I won't be needing anything painted in the near future) and would gladly recommend him to others because he treats his small jobs with the same professionalism and integrity as he does the big ones!
Description of Work: He painted my livingroom/kitchen/hallway ceilings and a partial wall in my livingroom (what a previous painter and myself had messed up); he painted my bathroom and my bedroom (including two closets)--all but the trimming because that is what I asked him to do.

+ -1 moreMarks coworker. Sent a text saying he would be there the 19th of May 2015, and he never showed up or called or text, saying he wasn't coming to fix what he was paid to do. Very UNprofessional. Would not recommend
Description of Work: April 20th the tile was promised to be cleaned and new grout put in as the house is going up for sale A co worker of Marks, Brian Moran did the job. (( or shall I say., Was suppose to do the job ). He told my husband what he was going to do., and it was not done according to what he promised. I was there while my husband was at work.., when he was doing the job. He was done so fast I figured he was going to let it dry and then finish. That was not the case. He not only used our cleaning products , but took our hand towel and wash cloth without asking and used that! Mark even looked at the job., not happy with the work, saying he would talk to him about making it right. So Brian ( who also is suppose to have his own business as well, doing this type of work, so beware) ) My husband asked him about making it right or refunding some of the money back....Brian Moran said ' May 19th he would be at the house to fix it. ' ( we still have his text message!). We told him 4:00 pm, would be good for us, due to our schedules. Well guess who NEVER showed up to correct his work??? Brian Moran !! No text or phone call to say he wasn't coming that something came up. Really? So please beware of this coworker at Marks painting ( plus whatever small company he has ). He takes your money and supplies.., for a job that is not done properly! I have pictures, if you would like to see. Very UNprofessional.

Description of Work: Painted interior of house Pressure washed and painted deck Two guys were with him a few times ( no females ) . One is Bryan Moran was paid to do the tile in the bathroom and kitchen as we are getting this home ready to sell and want it looking nice. Mr Moran asked to use our 409 cleaner and then helped himself to a fairly new hand towel and wash cloth to use on the tile. grout in some areas was still dirty ( I have pictures of his work ) plus a film is all over the tile My husband asked him about making it right , his reply was ' it's the best he could do' He spent very little time on and didn't even try fixing it ( and just using our supplies!) We asked for a refund ...to which he replied, he can get back to us in a couple of weeks. Really? You cashed the check...we should be your priority

They arrived on time, done their job and were finished with project in two days time. They had great respect for our home in that they protected the areas they were working in and were very neat. Mark went over and beyond the call o duty in making sure our huge tapestry was re-hung. I would definitely re-hire him.

+ 0 moreEverything went well!!! He worked with a female helper and completed the job in five days. He was both efficient and professional as well as being a nice person. Both he and his helper were respectful of my home, cleaning up after themselves and going the extra mile to prevent any mishaps. It was easy to see that Mark has MUCH experience in this profession. Mark even returned a week or so later to help me replace heavy wall-hangings (mirrors, etc.) and to install new towel bars and toilet-paper holder in the master bathroom. His fee was very affordable. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Description of Work: Mark removed old wallpaper in my half bath, backsplash in kitchen, dining room, foyer, stairway, upstairs hall and master bedroom and bath. He then painted all these areas.

+ -1 moreabout 2-3 weeks after we had talked he called me on the phone. he could not remember the job he was to do. he had no recollection of being at our house or the price he gave us. he was very apologetic but seemed confused. he claimed that he had been sick for a few weeks. mark just called me again last night 10/19/13 to tell me that he would see me the next day to start painting our house. i again reminded him that because he could not remember anything about my job that he was not going to work for us. in fact my house is totally done. i used somebody else.
Description of Work: mark came out to our home and took notes on everything we needed. he gave us a price which we thought was fair. he told us that he had some other jobs ahead of us and would be able to do our house towards the end of september. he was at our house at the beginning of September.

They came in, they were very professional, they got it done on a timely basis, the fees were very reasonable and if I needed painting done again I would call them again. We had that done I think it was either in May or April, we had an open house at the end of May so we are kind of cleaning our house between painting and pruning and all that other stuff so I think it was around May. He was very nice, very professional, he came in, he was very courteous, got the job done and I was happy with him and like I said again I would have him paint for us again. We've already recommended him to a couple of friends if they needed painting, and that he was good on what he did, the price that he charged us was very fair for the work that he did.
Description of Work: The only one that we went with was Mark Cooper at Mark's Painting. He painted the family room which is a large family room, he painted the ceiling, painted the ceiling in the small bathroom, the ceiling in the kitchen and the dining area and he also painted at accent wall.
