SCOTTS REPAIR SERVICE

I have used Scott on a couple of occasions, all with good results. He provides at home service which means you don't have to load your equipment in your vehicle, travel to his facility for service and then return to pick up your equipment once it is repaired. Scott is very punctual and gets right to work. He is cordial and will answer your questions. Repairs are done right the first time and at a reasonable charge. If the equipment is not-repairable or will be costly, Scott will tell you that up front. I recommend his service and will definitely use him again as needed.

Shawn was wonderful. He promptly answered the phone and tried to help me repair my own mower. When that couldn't be done he made an apt. to show up at my house. He came on time and fixed the problem and did the yearly service in my driveway. It saved tons of time and money on hauling the mower to a shop. He was kind to my kids who were all interested in what he was doing. He managed to fix a leaky tire that NO ONE had been able to fix in the past. I would highly recommend him and will use him again and again!!!

I have a high end 2 cycle gast trimmer and 2 cycle gas blower that were hard to start. I had a hard time finding someone that would service 2 cycle lawn equipment. Contacted Scott who said that he could repair Echo and Stihl 2 cycle lawn equipment. He said that unlike lower cost equipment, Echo and Stihl lawn equipment could be serviced. He picked up the equipment cleaned the gas lines and and carborators and now the equipment runs like new.

Shawn was great to work with. He promptly returned my phone call, and left a second message when I didn't call him back (we were out of town for a few days). He was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Shawn fully explained how he charged for his work. When he came out, he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and also changed the spark plug and sharpened the blade to our mower. I highly recommend Shawn, and plan to use his services in the future.

Scott answered the phone when I called which is especially nice in that you don't have to wait to see if the provider is even going to bother to call you back. He was able to come the next day for the service which was also a big plus. The lawn mower is a very old Honda which since I bought it three years ago on Ebay has not been reliable. I brought it last August to a dealer and repair service company and they kept for about a month and then said there was nothing wrong with it for $175. Scott was able to see what the problem was and gave me suggestions to avoid future problems. Scott was professional and knows what he is doing.

Scott was early, very early for the appointment without calling first. Turned out to be OK because I work from home and was available, but had I not been home, it could have been problematic for him. We talked about the power washer, yes, we never winterized it, but as with other reviews he didn't look at it just said it wasn't worth the cost to repair it. He then looked over and did seasonal service on a push mower and on a riding mower. Took less than an hour I think for full service on the two. Scott is friendly and he was very gabby after the work was done. The trip and labor charge was $95 for roughly an hour's work (slightly less than an hour) and the parts were $71.

He was very pleasant to talk to while he worked. He was efficient, considerate, and knew what he was doing. He had the parts he needed and offered me advice on getting some wheels replaced in the future. Very pleased with his service.

Came to house to look at riding mower. Was honest and said the mower wasn't worth fixing

This is actually our second experience with him. Last year we called him out to help us with our new Cub Cadet riding mower that had popped some belts. He actually fixed them for us and didn't charge us. I knew then he was a keeper. So this year we had him out to repair the mower again. It had popped a fan on the last mow of the season in the Fall. He came out a week ago, assed the situation, ordered the part, and was back out today to fix it. He is quick. He is punctual. He gets back in touch with us. And he comes to us. We don't have a truck so this is a very big deal to us. I was truly expecting a $300 repair. I was thrilled when my husband gave me the $147 total. He did excellent work and I would highly recommend him. Although, I hope I don't have to see him any time soon for a third repair on a two year mower...Oy!

He is wonderful. He does home repairs of anything with an engine or motor in it. He fixed my snow blower which had major problem in like minutes. He has done work on our dryer. He was terrific. He was here last month. He replaced the switch of the electric dryer. I think the cost of service was $125. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and very reasonable for someone who can actually come to your house and fix appliances, motor, snow blower or anything like that. He is well trained. He gets back to you right away if you call him. He works over quite a wide area but he somehow manages to get to you pretty quickly.

Used Scott's services on two occasions last summer. The fact that he offers "home service" is a definite plus. He would have made more than his diagnosis fee if he had replaced the pump, but his honesty in recommending purchasing a new washer for not much more money was appreciated. His second visit was to repair my lawn mower. On this occasion the drive on the self propel mechanism had broken. The repair costs would have almost exceeded the value of the mower. At Scott's suggested, he successfully "converted" the mower from a self-propelled model to a manual push model. While it now involves a little more effort to push, the mower works just fine. The added benefit it that I get more of a work-out when cutting the lawn! I expect to use Scott again as the need arises (as it always will).

All went well. The problem with the blower was that I never drained the gas and oil for storage. He explained how to store it in the future and refilled it with fresh gas and oil. The snow blower now runs perfectly. it took about 1/2 hour. I was so pleased with the service. Thank you.

My riding mower wouldn't start because it was getting fuel was my guess. Once he checked it out he found that that the fuel pump wasn't working. Once he replaced it and the fuel lines the mower started right away.

Found the trouble quickly - one of the rocker arms had come loose and one of the valves would not work. he repaired that on the spot and then he serviced the rest of the tractor including sharpening the blades. Great Service!!

The best thing about Scott's service is that they came out to the house and we didn't have to have the mower picked up and delivered. They came out to the house, was very professional, and did a really good job of repairing the mower. I would definitely use their service again, not just for the mower, but for other services as well. I would highly recommend them.

Scott returned my call within a couple days (family emergency) and scheduled a time to come. He arrived on time and successfully completed the minor repair quickly. He gave me instructions on doing the repair myself should it occur again. As usual he was courteous and friendly. This is the third time I've had Scott service or repair my mower. I recommend him highly and plan to use his services again when needed.

I was not able to be home but my mother was here and she met him in the garage. Mom said Scott was very friendly, honest and down-to-earth. After going over the mower he identified the auto-start had never been connected to the mower. He fixed it and it works beautifully! He also made sure everything else was functioning on the mower before he left. I felt that he was very reasonable for his work especially since he made the trip to me! I highly recommend him and will use him again any time I need mower or small appliance repair!

I'm so happy I came across Shawn and his service. He came to my home as scheduled and performed the work in my garage. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a thorough job on my mower which hadn't been serviced in four years. I will be calling him again next year!
