Description of Work: Our 8 year old Toro lawnmower needed to be prepared for winter. We consulted Angie's List and picked Scott's to contact. Scott made arrangements to come to our house to work on the mower! (Loved that!!) |He replaced the battery as well as preparing it for winter. We really don't know how it will mow yet, but we loved his work ethic.

Description of Work: I called a few places before I called Shawn. He's one of the few that will work on riding lawn mowers and will come to your house. He did a full tune up on both my riding mower and push mower and did an excellent job. He was thorough, professional, and his prices are reasonable. I will not hesitate to call him for all my services on my outdoor equipment. Thanks!

+ -1 moreHe's excellent. He is great, he comes to your house, makes excellent repairs, answers questions and sells a few products. It's a great service. I've lived around a few places and it's the best lawn mower and snow blower service of any that I've had. We get him in here 3-4 times a year for the lawn mower and snow blower. I'll be scheduling him to come out again. I would recommend him to everyone. Why struggle to put your stuff in a car when he will come to your house and do a really great job at an affordable price.
Description of Work: Scotts Repair Service put together a new snow blower that we bought. He got it running and checked it out to make sure it was in good shape.

+ -1 moreMy appointment was about 10 days from my original call. Since Shawn is not local, he arranged my appointment according to when he had other work in the area. I wasn't in a big hurry, so that wasn't a problem. He arrived a little early. He got my snow blower running again in about 20 minutes and started looking around the garage for other things that might need serviced. I thought this was a little odd, but come to find out he build in about an hour into the call, so if there are multiple items that need serviced, that's all included; Riding mower, push mower, weed-eater. He even does garage doors and openers. Good to know for next time.
Description of Work: Repaired a snow blower. Shawn comes to your house for $75 - includes parts, materials, "shop disposal fee", etc.
