Davy Painting

It went very well. The painters showed up and did what they said they were going to do and then some. Roger and crew were very communicative and accommodating. Moreover, they were very interested in making sure that we were satisfied with the work product. We would use and recommend them. We have been very pleased. Anyone needing paint work should do themselves a favor and at least have Roger come out and explain what should be taken care of in the detail of the job. His old-style service makes a difference and they live up to the work product they submit.

They did excellent work and were reasonable. They are a good company. They were very accommodating on things I wanted done.

I can't say enough about what a great job Bill and Chip did. They were there every day until the job was completed. These guys are true professionals. Their attention to detail is excellent. Roger Brewer was awesome to work with, very communicative and kept us informed of the schedule and job status. He was very clear that he would ensure we were 100% satisfied when the job was done, and we are. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to friends and family.

It went really well. All work was completed early and as promised. Everyone communicated well with us and informed us daily of the work to be done that day. Phone calls were returned quickly if we had any questions. So nice to work with a company where they do exactly what you want them to do-and in a thorough way! Will be recommending them highly and will use again as the need arises-although they did such a great job we probably will not need painted for years to come! Great company!

Great job. Both painters were very professional and did an outstandoing job. One of the painters actually went with me to look at another home that had the same color paints I desired and helped me match them up. Roger did the estimate and was extremely informative and helpful.

Great experience. Roger was great to work with. he explained everything in detail and was consistently in touch throughout the process. The 2man crew who did the work we first rate. They have been working together for 20 years and it showed. They did everything we agreed upon plus made sure I was satisfied as they progressed through the job. I was very impressed with the pride they took in their work. I couldn't be happier with this experience.

We are really satisfied with the work Davy did on our home. Davy painted and stained our house 10 years ago, so the house was really worn and required lots of attention. The painting team worked really hard and addressed every detail. The workers cleaned up and neatly stored their equipment at the end of every day. Roger, the owner, provided the estimate and communicated clearly when the job would start. Jim managed the job to completion and cared for our home as if it was his. His work and effort were outstanding. Jim was great to work with, assisted with color selection, and addressed every concern throughout the job. The job started with a complete walk around which gave us an opportunity to point out specific areas for attention. Davy delivered quality results from start to finish, and we will use them again.

Everything was fantastic. Roger, the owner, was very helpful in the initial discussions about what to do and how, and quickly provided a detailed estimate of the cost. Jim, the job foreman, was very helpful through the job making very useful suggestions about what we were doing and making sure everything was done as well as it could be. They were very careful, safe, detail oriented, and professional through out the job. In the frequent detailed inspections of the work in progress Jim conducted us through, he was in general more concerned about the quality of things than I would have been on my own. Jim was very knowledgable about the work and very helpful and answered every question we could think of. I have no complaints of any kind with these guys, and would gladly hire them to do any other painting I needed done. I've already contracted with them to do one more small job over the coming weeks. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing their house painted.

Davy painting was very responsive, refreshingly professional, and punctual. The job involved painting one side of a house exterior because of water damage. Work was very well done and matched perfectly. Would highly recommend this company.

They did a great job! Everything was explained by phone and details were then mailed out to be as well. They explained problems they found with trim boards and as promised corrected the problem at not additional charge.

Jim and his helper were meticulous and professional in their work. My front step had sunk on one side, leaving a large crack. Jim caulked the crack, and installed a new longer piece of trim that matched exactly. That was above and beyond! Roger checked in several times to make sure I was satisfied with their work and progress. I will definitely call them for my next painting project.

Mr. Brewer contracted me and came out to do estimate very quickly. I was impressed that he gave me some good advise and tips that applied even if I didn't use him. It was over a month before I got back with him saying I wanted them to do the work. Sent contract which I signed and returned in August. He agreed to wait until after the growing season as there were plants in front of the foundation. Jim came to do work in October. He is great! Very agreeable to see that everything was done just as I wanted. I paid extra from the original estimate because I decided to change one of the colors after it was painted. They were very fair and helpful with that change. The weather delayed completion of the job but Jim went above and beyond to finish the job as soon as he could. This is not to say he hurried the work, I feel he does his work with the attention he would give his own home. Everything was cleaned, prepped and received two coats of good quality paint. If you are looking for honesty and good work this is the one to choose. I will definately use them for any painting needs in the future.

I found Davy painting on Angie's list and called to get an estimate. The owner Roger Brewer was very prompt in coming out to our house. The estimate was about the same as the other estimate we received but it included much more for the money. They painted our doors, foundation and gutters that the other company would have charged extra to paint. Jim Norris and his helper did an excellent job. They power washed the house and painted our wood shingle siding. They put two coats of paint on every thing and it looks great. They made sure that we were very satisfied with everything We would definitely use them again.

These are the guys you want to do your house paining. They made sure the paint color was what we expected (gray with red shutters) - placed some of the gray on the house for us to look at for a day, to make sure we thought we were getting the gray we asked for.....grays can be difficult - some are bluish, some are purplish....they wanted to make sure we saw the gray, gray we expected. They painstakingly put 4 coats of paint on our shutters to ensure they looked brand new - they turned out beautiful! Look no further, use these guys and spread the word.

Davy Painting did a fantastic job on our fence & deck. They were extremely courteous and polite! They worked very hard and get our fence and small deck done in 3 days. The price was the cheapest I could find for a professional team. They worked with me to replace some damaged boards for a very minor charge as I had several boards that needed replaced. We are extremely impressed with the quality of their work and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs exterior painting/staining. We will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks for a great job done!

I had used Davy Painting back in 2002 to paint the exterior of my home and garage and after checking out a few other companies, I decided to go with them again. Roger gave me a detailed quote on what they would do and after I gave them the go-ahead, he kept me informed on when they would start. Jim and Sean did a great job. They were very detailed in their work and treated my home as if it was theirs. They also did a good job of cleaning up after they had finished. They are my painter of choice and I will definitely use them in the future.

Jim headed up the completion of this project with high quality all around. The painting turned out great and great care was taken to do the work properly. The scope of the project was fully covered as quoted.

I am submitting this review 3 years after Davy Painting painted the exterior of our home. I can say that 3 years after their work has been completed, the job they did is flawless and still looks brand new. Roger responded quickly with an estimate, explained in detail what to expect during the painting process and even offered to have some areas of rotting wood replaced. His painters were on time, efficient, courteous and cleaned up every evening before leaving for home. Now that our interior needs painting, we plan on using them again.

They did an excellent job, as we knew they would. We have used this service at least four times before. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and highly skilled. Jim leads the crew that came to do the work, and he is a real perfectionist, which we appreciate. We will definitely call them again in the future.
