When it was time to get our two story all cedar house painted, we didn't hesitate to call Roger with Davy Painting to get it done. They had painted our house previously and it held up beautifully. This time was no different. Jim, Anthony and Anthony did an amazing job. Any repairs that needed to be done prior to painting were no problem for them at all. They were respectful, cleaned up after each day's work and just overall did a phenomenal job. Cost was extremely reasonable given the job. Our house looks brand new now! We will be calling them for interior painting next! Highly recommend!

I had a large 2 story cedar sided house with a lot of trim, 3 decks and a front porch painted by Jim and Anthony. They did a great job and were patient and helpful during the color selection. The house was pressure washed along with the brick and part of the driveway. Since the house hadn't been painted in a long time they made sure a sufficient amount of paint was used to cover the wood. They were able to repair my steel front door which had numerous holes after the removal of some decorative panels, this saved me a substantial amount of money since it didn't need to be replaced. They communicated with me on every aspect of the job making sure I was in agreement. The house looks great and I would highly recommend their services.

Jim and his crew did a fabulous job! They painted a small part of the house with the trim to make sure I liked the color. They listened to what I wanted and it was great to see how much pride they took in their work. They were great!

Great job! My recently purchased late 60's ranch was looking pretty neglected on the outside and this paint job has transformed it! Well worth spending the money to hire professionals. Would hire Davy again. I went from the ugliest house on the block to one of the nicest! Thanks, guys!

Davy Painting is great and I would absolutely recommend for any painting project. We have worked with Roger & Jim on 2 separate projects (first some interior painting and now, most recently, the exterior). They are always honest and professional and do an excellent job. Already planning on having Jim back this winter for a couple more interior projects.

Roger came out and gave us an estimate. The start date was delayed due to weather conditions. Roger called when they were able to begin the work. We were very pleased with the job Jim and Anthony did in painting our house and staining our fence and deck. They began by powerwashing everything. Both Jim and Anthony were very attentive, listened and offered helpful suggestions. We appreciated also the thorough cleanup at the end of each day. We would highly recommend them!

Roger provided an estimate and approximate timeline. He contacted me a week before painting to ensure timing and paint colors. The crew of 2 stayed on site daily, arriving early and working throughout the day. I had specifically asked that no workmen smoke on site so the one person who did smoke went to his car for smoke breaks. The crew was polite, took care with landscaping, picked up trash, asked questions as necessary, and installed new light fixtures (purchased by me) to replace the ones taken down. They backrolled the paint on the stucco to ensure solid paint covering. I felt comfortable having them paint my house and would recommend them without reservation.

Most of the work was done by Anthony Fry. Anthony is a very hard worker. He did an excellent job. He is also very tidy, and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was really hot and humid, but Anthony didn't let that stop him. We had a very good experience, and would definitely hire Davy Painting again.

Davy (Jim) did an outstanding job with our interior painting project. The quality of his work was excellent, and he was very professional in all aspects of the operation. He was very punctual, and did a great job explaining several different alternatives and trade-offs. We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jim did an excellent job of painting. The trim paint he recommended was based on previous experience with durability and we could not be more pleased. We have fairly complex closet systems that had to be removed and reinstalled and he did a great job of putting everything back together. We were on a very tight time schedule - we needed to move in before heading to the Rose Bowl and Jim accomplished that and even came back to paint around a light fixture that we had to have replace after he finished his work. We would highly recommend Davy Painting! Roger and Jim were both great to work with.

Due to the weather and other unexpected issues cropping up on their end, a job that was expected to take roughly five days took about a month, so it was a bit of a weird contract job. That said, Jim (the foreman) was always professional about it and consistently stayed in contact. He listened to our concerns throughout the project, and was flexible when we had some last minute changes of our own. The house looks good and the price was reasonable compared to other quotes received. If it says anything, it should be noted that despite the unexpected delays I would still use them again, when normally you'd expect a job shooting so far over time scope to be a major red flag.

Due to the weather, there was a delay, but we weren’t in a hurry. They worked hard and did a great job. They power washed the house first. Due to some family health problems, the foreman had to take time off, which slowed down the project, but the end result is excellent. Roger, the owner, was very responsive. Their price was far better than our other estimates.

Davy painted our house about 10 years ago. I called Roger this year as we were very happy with them last time. Roger came right out and estimated the job. He cautioned that his crews were already behind due to all of the rain. We were patient, and Jim and Mike were finally able to complete the job. As expected, Jim and Mike were very professional and did an excellent job. What we also appreciated was that they took the "extra step" on things. It's hard to describe other than you feel like they were highlighting issues and proposing solutions as if it was their own house. Unfortunately, not all contractors do that. So, when you find someone who does, you stick with them. And that's why we called them first when it was time to paint the house again.

The project got delayed due to excessive rain this summer in Columbus. The owner kept me informed the best he could concerning when the work would be able to start. Once on the job his crew got to work and did a very complete job. I learned a lot about modern painting and I had a good dialog with the owner and his employees through out the project. The owner and his foreman on this job both have very good eyes for colors and what can or will not work. It would be good use of time upfront tapping their opinion on possible colors.

It was a challenging summer for painting with the rain. Jim and Mike did a great job and were super nice guys. The were neat and polite, and pointed out areas that needed some extra work. I really enjoyed having them work on my house. I will definitely use them again.

Excellent. We started off with a personnel issue, but Roger was very attentive and responsive to the problem and made immediate changes. The crew that did the job was excellent - very professional, great daily communication, high quality work. Everything ended up working out very well.

Bill and Chip did a great job. Professional painters. Only problem was the weather--rain delayed the work, but not their problem. Would use them again anytime. We wanted the porch and floor done first to move my wife's plants on the porch. They did that for us. They also got the backyard done so we could use it for Memorial day weekend! At the start , they power washed the whole house before painting.

Roger came out on a freezing cold day in March to give an in depth estimate of painting and repairs. Due to the wet spring and summer, Jim wasn't able to start painting until September. Between March and September, he called to check in at least once a month to reassure me the work would be done. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of work of Davy Painting. Our house is 34 years old, but it looks like a brand new house. While they were painting, Jim frequently provided updates as to what was happening. I knew what was going on all the time. Jim's assistant Jay was also a very hard worker and independent in his job completion. They were both very professional and personable. I cannot recommend Davy Painting highly enough. If Angie's List had an A Plus rating, they would get it.

Davy Painting did our house, including stucco, ten years ago, in 2007. I had them back in July 2017 and the stucco still looks great - Roger Brewer told me it did not need to be painted yet. Jim Norris and his team did excellent work once again on the exterior wood trim, gutters, downspouts and front door. Meticulous work once again. I highly recommend this company.

Roger came out from Davy Painting and gave me a good quote and the timeframe to get the work done. Prep work was extensive as they had to scrape over 80 years of paint and prime most of the the house before two coats of paint. The weather delayed the process but Jim, the foreman, kept me informed of the scheduled and the work was done carefully and with few misses. Roger and Jim are men of their word and can be relied on to do the job and get it right. As the former operations director of a large residential facility, i have dealt with many good and bad contractors. Davy Painting is the real deal and I would highly recommend them.
