Very professional quotation, and good consulting from the provider with respect to the right paints to use, and the right application processes. They couldn't begin the job until the spring (they were booked through October for outside work). But offered to provide a very competitive quote for a project to start in the Spring of 2007. Although thier exterior quote was competitive, the combined quote for both exterior and interior painting was much higher than another supplier, and the other supplier who had good references with our neighbors could do the exterior painting in October 2006.

Roger came out and gave us a price. Work was a little slow due to weather. We had all the old rotted trim replaced and primed. They painted all of our trim and then the house. Our house looks like new and they did a great job of cleaning up.

Roger and his crew did a fantastic job on my house. He was very helpful, upfront, and honest about his work and the whole process. The job took roughly the same time he estimated (5-6 days), and Roger or John (foreman) was always good about letting me know when they'd be working or not. The entire crew was extremely courteous, and know how to treat their customers. A+ overall. I'm extremely satisfied. I highly recommend Roger.

DURING ROUTINE GUTTER CLEANING MY HUSBAND DISCOVERED THAT AREAS HAD NOT BEEN PAINTED WHICH WAS STATED IN THE CONTRACT. AT THE VERY LEAST NO 2ND COAT WAS APPLIED LET ALONE THE FIRST COAT ON SOME AREA. THE EXTERIOR TRIM WAS ALSO NOT PROPERLY STRIPPED AND PAINTED. IT S CRACKED AND BUMPY. I CALLED HIM TO COME BACK AND FIX IT. I ASKED HIM PERSONALLY TO COME OUT. THAT WAS 3 MONTHS AGO. I CALLED BACK AS HE APOLOGIZED AND SAID HE WOULD SEND SOMEONE ELSE OUT. A MAN CAME AND WAS HERE FOR 5 MINUTES AND THEN LEFT. IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW AND HAVE HEARD NOTHING. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS BEFORE WE HIRED HIM, HE ASSURED ME HE WOULD NOT STOP UNTIL WE WERE HAPPY. ONCE HE GOT OUR MONEY AND WE SIGNED A CONTRACT HIS ATTITUDE COMPLETELY CHANGED. IN ADDITION HE WAS VERY VERY RUSHED. HIS EMPLOYEE (SHAWN) WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. I ALSO BELIEVE HE WAS RUSHED INTO GETTING THE WORK DONE BECAUSE OF MR. BREWER.

His knowledge in working with plaster walls and ceilings is excellent. There is such a different application than dealing with Sheetrock. The reason it was peeling is because it was not done the first time, he also repaired a stress crack.

We enjoyed working with Roger very much. He is very knowledgeable in his craft, patient with questions, and his crew thorough with their work. We will definitely use Roger and Davy Painting for work in the future.

Exceptional customer service, exceptional performance. Jim and Roger did a superb job throughout all phases of the project. The price was extremely reasonable. Very Pleased.

Davy Painting came and explained things to us. He was the best at explaining things. He was prompt also.

Mr. Roger Brewer was so nice! He gave me advice on things, whether or not we hired him. He offered to powerwash our deck, too. His price was too high for us, so we decided to go with another company.

The crew was polite, friendly, and professional and the finished paint job looked good. There was some miscommunication between Mr. Brewer, the sales representative, and me which resulted in some last minute negotiation to complee the job as expected. Make sure that all details of what is discussed are included in the contract. Although I indicated I wanted all colors to same the same, the color of the shutters was changed without asking, making it difficult to match the original color. There was an area of grass in the backyard that was killed by the crew. Although the overall quality of the job was good, there were a variety of small problems that could have been avoided but were not.

He told us the job was too small and he would have to overcharge us. He gave us a number for his son to do the work. He was very honest.

Gentleman who came to provide he estimate was timely and thorough. Verbal ballpark estimate was reasonable. However, they never provided a written estimate as they said they would. Went with another vendor due to their lack of follow up.

Jim did a super job. Their detail work was outstanding. Jim alerted me to a potential problem with the ceilings, that he could have ignored, but the job turned out better with his recommendation. I will consider them again for future jobs.

My favorable impression started with my initial call to Roger Brewer. He advised me to get multiple bids, not pay any money in advance and ensure the paint to be used is specified in the contract and is of good quality. Weather delayed the start of the job, but Roger showed the appropriate initiative by calling me and keeping me apprised. The crew size of four or five demonstrated their commitment to completing the job as quickly as possible. The work itself was excellent, the crew polite, the job site immaculate. I couldn't ask for a better experience from beginning to end.

I had a specific time frame for this project. Roger was excellent about keeping me posted on when the work would start. The project was completed on time, and the results were great. Sean, the foreman, talked to me every day to make sure my expectations were met, and that the job would be completed within my specified time frame. The painters were very professional, and when the work was completed the area was 100% clean. I'd recommend Davy for any job.

We took 5 quotes before selecting Davy Painting, their price was a bit higher than some others, but the quote was far more detailed and comprehensive. Roger Brewer did an outstanding job before the work began, helping us determine exactly what we needed. During the project, the employees were friendly and polite, something we heard positive feedback about from our neighbors. The work they did was outstanding, even going beyond the quote in one area that required 3 coats to blend the siding.

They were very receptive to my feedback, very professional, they cleaned up well.

They did an excellent job. They really strive for excellence in their work. They are polite, detail oriented and conscientious. I was very glad that I was able to ask their opinions and they were more than fair in giving me opinions. I was told they were a little high, but compared to other quotes theirs was a little less than another quote I received. Jim wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. He even painted some toe board and didn't charge me because he wasn't happy with the results (due to the material of the toe board). The job was bid at a higher price because the den was quoted for 2 coats and only ended up needing one (he verified with me first that it was okay as it was) and he lowered the price. I felt very comfortable with them in my home.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH JOB. I WILL BE CALLING THEM THIS SPRING FOR AN ADDITIONAL JOB.

They repaired some walls and ceilings cracks and painted the ceilings. They also refinished some windows and window frames that were worn down by the sun. They have done a very good job. This is the second time they have work in our house and the result has been excellent. They always make sure you are completely satisfied with their work. They are great people to work with.

The entire experience was positive. Estimate was timely and work began when promised. Crew did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Price was well below other estimates we obtained.

EXCELLENT PREP WORK AND EXCELLENT PAINT WORK. VERY PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY WAY, A RARE EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE COMPETITIVE IN PRICE WITH OTHER BIDS AND THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I WILL HIRE THEN AGAIN.

AFTER CONTACTING DAVEY PAINTING FOR AN ESTIMATE, JIM NORRIS ARRIVED AS PROMISED. JIM WAS EXTREMELY POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I SPOKE WITH ROGER BREWER WHEN WE ACCEPTED THE BID AND FELT WE HAD FINALLY FOUND A COMPANY THAT WAS CENTERED AROUND 'GOOD OLD FASHION' CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE WERE GIVEN AN ESTIMATE ON WHEN THE PROJECT WAS TO BEGIN AND ROGER CALLED US TO SCHEDULE AN EXACT DATE. JIM AND CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME, WORKED AROUND OUR SCHEDULE WHEN NECESSARY AND FINISHED THE PROJECT IN A TIMELY MANNER. TRUE PROFESSIONALS WITH THE CUSTOMER IN MIND. YOU REALLY DON'T FIND TOO MANY COMPANIES LIKE THIS ANY MORE. A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
