Description of Work: Berlin built our house in 2002, renovated our house when water pipes broke just before moving into the house, renovated my office, and built porches on our house. We have recommended Berlin Construction to anyone who has asked us and would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Recommending anyone can be a risky business but no one who has followed our suggestion has done anything but thank us. Would HIGHLY recommend for honesty, keeping their word, excellent craftsmanship, and being a pleasure to work with. They have always done everything that they said that they would and MORE.

+ -1 morehome. Berlin came in the same day, pulled people off of other less pressing jobs, and repaired the house even better than the first time. After that experience we recommended Berlin to 2-3 friends ( with some trepidation) because we knew that these people were very discriminating buyers and could be challenging to impress. Thankfully Berlin again came through with flying colors and both of our referral people were VERY impressed with houses much bigger and more complicated than our Williamsburg-style home. Since then we have seen them do commercial jobs, remodeling, and work for many other people. Everyone with whom we have talked raves about their honesty, communication skills, and their tremendous pride of workmanship. Berlin's staff and workers remain friends of ours, have done other jobs for us ( an add on porch, remodeling my dental office,etc.) and continue to be busy. Would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again. It is refreshing to find such honest craftsmen that value their work and their customers' wishes.
Description of Work: We were concerned about the stories that we had heard about building a home but Berlin changed our minds about the process and we would do it with them again in a heartbeat. They were totally honest with us, answered all of our questions, and tried in every way to please us. We talked with several builders in Wooster who did not take us too seriously so we were a bit wary but when we checked their references they were impeccable. All of the 4-5 people with whom we spoke said that they would build with them again and one person said that they had done 2 homes with Berlin. We were worried about "change orders" and other horrors that friends had warned us about. This was NOT a problem even though our architect could have done a much better job of designing and specifying our wants and needs. I would NOT recommend our architect but in a roundabout way he introduced us to Berlin so we partially forgave him. We even experienced an accidental serious flooding of the home which caused severe damage to the unoccupied

+ -1 morefrom start to finish the experience was a dream. We explained what we wanted and they followed through to the "T".....they even suggested some things that we did not think of and their suggestions were fantastic. we have had our house looked at by an architect that builds multi-million dollar homes and he said he could not believe the quality and the workmanship of our builder.
Description of Work: personal home built. outstanding job....wonderful experience.....work beyond what i expected and more....fantastic finishes and on time. would build again with berlin again and again.....could not be happier.
