Ace Roofing did and excellent job on our roof. They showed up with about (15) guys and did the entire tear-off and re-roof in one day! They had a project supervisor on-site the entire day to make sure the job was done right. The workers were very professional. They did an excellent job protecting landscaping around the house and did a thorough clean up at the end of the job. Their cost was competitive and the quality of their workmanship was first rate. I would highly recommend Ace Roofing.

The estimate was about $5000-$6000 over the other bids that I got. I don't know if the guy was trying to give me an estimate such that he didn't want to do the work and was just kind of going through the motions and bidding high so that he can walk away or have me make the decision or whatever. He came here and started going through his sales pitch with me. I have got some knowledge about roofing and construction and things like that and I had to interrupt him and tell him that I kind of knew what he was talking about and that he didn’t have to take me through all that. I told him that we should get down to hard facts and he told me that I should let him humor me and he kept going. I wasn't impressed. He didn't get back to me right away. I called him and got an appointment in about a week. He showed up on time. He is arrogant. There is a sales pitch and then there is pure arrogance and he was just purely arrogant about it.

I was getting estimates to replace the roof on my house. Ace was working on a roof in the neighborhood so I stopped and talked with them. The owner came right down, went up on the room, measured and felt around. This was the only company that actually went up on the roof. He explained completely what would be done and what he does differently. His price was comparable to all the other estimates. When it came time for the installation, he called about a week in advance to say that the weather looked favorable and they would be out. I was at work when they started and by the time I got home they were nearly finished. Everything was cleaned up nicely and they tried to make sure they cleaned up as many nails as they could. I have had the roof for two years now. There have been no leaks. It is often better to rate roofers later because people are always happy when they see there roof because it looks great but later they find that it was done improperly. I would use them again in a heartbeat but my roof will be good for a long time.
