Service was excellent. We had an 3 estimators come out and quote. This was a very painless experience and very professionally conducted. Next, excellent experience with Lisa over the phone to schedule service and payment. Finally, had a two man crew come out to install the system. They said it would take @3.5 hours and they actually finished 5 minutes ahead of time. The crew chief was very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained exactly the process of the installation and told me what to expect. When finished, they left a radon test kit that needed to sample over 48 hrs. When they came out to pick the kit up, we’d gone from a 25.2 reading to a 1.3. We needed to be under 5.0, so mission accomplished. Great experience.

Due to the level of radon in the home I needed to activate a passive radon system. The estimate was competitive. They were knowledgeable and professional. The installer did a great job - system looks good. He took the time to explain the system. Overall, I'm well pleased and would hire them again.

It took between three and three and a half hours to install the system. The system was installed through my sump pump. My basement is unfinished. It was mainly done by one worker, although for part of the time there were two workers. Most of the cracks in the concrete floor were sealed along with the sump pump and plumbing bathroom rough in, to increase the fan suction. The fan is really quiet. The exterior white piping was placed on the backside of the house on a corner. I think it looks fine and it doesn't really stand out or seem like an eyesore. The worker cleaned up after himself and explained what I needed to watch for afterwards (there's a U shaped monitor). He also called with the post mitigation results and a report was later emailed. I was happy with the process and happy to get my home's radon levels to acceptable levels.

My first contact was with Tracy in the office who scheduled an appointment for Corey, the installer, to come out and review my home for options for the location of the radon mitigation system. There was a little bit of a lapse in communication over one matter where I emailed the office, but I was able to contact Corey with the concern. During the course of the review of my home, I learned more fully about the dangers of radon in the home, and was also given a couple of options for the location of a mitigation system in my home. They were both described in detail in the written proposal so that I could make a clear choice, and also see what the other option entailed, if for some reason the first location was not effective in mitigation. Tracy and Corey were both extremely patient and helpful with answering my many questions. I was also particularly impressed with Corey's ability to find an effective location, and to adapt the requirements of the mitigation system to the specifics of my home's structure. I also expressed a preference for having my electrician install the required breaker on the box, and Corey kindly worked with the electricians to accommodate my preference in this regard. The initial post-mitigation test had to be redone because, in the course of some other contractual work done in my home during that time, the power for the mitigation system got accidentally turned off. Kim, who does the post-mitigation test results, patiently returned test equipment for a post-mitigation re-test. The pre-mitigation average found in testing by Radon Protection was at 6.7 (higher than the levels at 3.9 prior to my purchasing the home), and the post-mitigation system results were down to 1 in the lower level/basement where testing is done -- a very effective result. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to do this mitigation in their home. The company also offers follow-up services across time.

Got an estimate, but ended up using another company due to scheduling compatibility. The estimate process was quick and professional. The price was fair. I would work with them again.

Tracey came out and gave estimate and explained where the Radon system was to go. Tracey said they would put the Radon system on the side of the house. I did ask if it would be hidden in the finished room and was told it would be. I asked her the same question on the phone before I hired her to do the job. When the technician came out he said that a pipe would be sitting visible in the finished room. Once I was told that I asked them not to do the install other options were available but Tracy's company did not offer another option. Originally I also asked Tracy about the 5% coupon which is posted on Angie's list and her response was she did not authorize it. I will now find a company that will do what was stated. Sorry it didn't work out.

They did exactly as they said they would and left everything spotless. They even picked up the parts of concrete which they drilled out for the exit pipe. The installer was courteous and answered all of my questions.

Their estimate was much higher than expected, but we were stuck with this provider since our real estate agent had recommended them as part of our home closing negotiations (the sellers provided a check written out to them). The quote they provided indicated the job would require two men 8 hours of work. On the day of the service, just one showed up and was able to complete the work in just under 6 hours. We immediately contacted the firm to indicate we thought they had overestimated the work and had overpriced us on man-hours. They did not concede on this, and claimed the second worker had been sick that day and the one sent had been more efficient than usual. We paid in full, but definitely felt cheated by this business, and we are sorry to say that we would not work with them again.

They did my mom's home and they also did mine. We had done a test on our own and and it showed it was a little bit high, her's were extremely high. For safety, I had it installed because I have grandchildren and they are always in the home and when they spend the night, they are downstairs. We had it installed and we've been doing a yearly check and everything and we've been very happy with it. They explained everything before they even did the work and what it would entail. Ours had to go through our garage and out to the roof because of the way our house was laid out. They were very thorough and I was happy with them. For all the work they did, I thought their price was reasonable. They went through her basement and mine as well and they sealed all the way around the floor where the floor and the wall meet. If you had any little concrete break lines, they sealed in between those and any place where anything could seep through to help keep it safe and keep the radon out. They did a great job and they cleaned up after themselves. They call ahead of time to let you know when they'd be there, they are on time and they did a follow up. They left a little unit there for 3 days then they came back and tested it to make sure it did what it was supposed to do. They were very convenient, they came home when I got back from work.

I am very pleased. The technicians were both professional and nice. Their van had issues, so I received a courtesy call a half hour before appt time, letting me know approximate arrival time. The install went well and they reviewed what they had done before leaving. The post-install test shows radon levels dropped from 10.5 to 1.2! I appreciate the lifetime warranty.

Kudos to At Home Radon for sending a technician on such short notice and for addressing the issue while we were in the midst of the waterproofing rather than forcing us to deal with it after the fact.
