As the project progressed, he told us what he was going to do to be certain that we understood and did not want to modify. This was very helpful and eliminated any surprises.

I closed on a new house two weeks ago. I don't have a lawn mower and have not decided if I want to mow my own grass anyway. So I decided to try finding a lawn service. An acquaintance of my parents has a lawn service. I tried him first. I left a message and received no response. After waiting a few days, I tried two companies in my area on Angie's list. Warrens and another. I did not hear anything for a day and tried two more. One went to voice mail and I spoke with a polite lady at the other. Warren's called back a day and a half later. The price seemed reasonable but I wanted to give the other company a chance to estimate the job. I didn't hear anything from the other company within 24 hours. I called Warren's at 11am today and authorized them to mow my yard. Later that afternoon I received a voice mail from the other company declining the job claiming they were too busy. Why they didn't do that without all the delay is puzzling? I got home around 10pm tonight and was very happy to see my yard had been mowed. I look forward to seeing it in daylight. I am extremely impressed by their fast response. I will consider them for a retaining wall that needs repaired or replaced as well.

My email was answered by Matt within 8 hours and an appointment was set up to review our needs. Matt then met with us to discuss our tentative plans for our whole property of 5 acres. He offered several ideas and got the written estimate back to us within 2 weeks. After looking over the estimate, I wanted another consultation and Matt came out again. Matt was open to fine tuning the plan and adding another planting bed to adjoin the dry creek. My husband and I decided to clear the sod and do the planting bed in front of our home ourselves. Matt and his crew did the 2 very large planting beds in back and the dry creek. The weather was wet, but as soon as it dried out, the guys came out. Matt had come the week before to repaint the grass for the shapes of the creek beds and planting beds. It had rained the night before so it was perfect to get the dry creek placed properly. Matt kept us informed regularly with email updates. The crew showed up on the date Matt said and on time. They brought their own tools and machinery. The sod cutter was acting up, so after a couple tries, Matt was on the phone and got another one. While he was taking care of that, the other guys, 3 of them, cut sod with a spade and dug the trench for the creek bed. All the sod was placed in a big pile like I asked them to do. They went to go get the compost/soil mix and spread that. The large boulders were placed at the start and end of the creek bed. The bridge stone was placed sort of in the middle. At the end of the day, they cleaned up their tools. Later that day, our 3 norway pine trees were planted by another person. They are nice and full. On day two, the next morning, they again showed up on time with a truck load of creek rock. Most of the day was spent working putting in the plastic drain pipe, followed by stone in the trench. Landscape fabric was pinned down and run the full length of the dry creek bed. The creek rock was dumped by bucketfuls, then hand placed to form the creek bed. Matt brought more flat sandstone to finish the look. A second load of compost/soil was brought in to finish the smaller planting areas along side of the creek bed and to round out the planting bed by the house. I had asked if they could move my address boulder to the end of the driveway and they did that for me. Instead of putting down the grass seed to fill in any damage done by the machinery, we asked that they just leave it and we'll seed the yard ourselves. We are very happy with the work done by Matt and his crew. Our dry creek bed funnels the water away like it is supposed to and looks great. I have planted all the beds and they look really nice. When we get ready to do more of the plan for our property, we'll have Warren's do the work.

This company is very customer oriented. They cared about what we want and wanted to make sure we are happy. This landscaping company is fabulous. The workers were all courteous and professional. They went above and beyond all expectations. I would only rate one other company with this high of a rating but Warren's Landscaping definitely warrants an A plus rating.

Bobby was extremely professional, very nice, and knowledgable about plants. We had just moved into the property and were not familiar with the plants and trees. Bobby spent extra time walking around the property with me describing each plant and maintenance requirements. He also took a look at some landscape lighting that we were having trouble with and identified some problems. He went above and beyond and I look forward to using the company again. I highly recommend them.

Matt did a great job of recommending the perfect solution for my needs. He didn't try to oversell. He listened carefully to my needs, looked at our lifestyle (with dogs) and recommended a lovely option which would be as low-maintenance as I had wanted. He really is great at providing options that meet the needs of the customer. The end result is wonderful - I had no idea how labor intensive it would be and now I see why it was $2,000. He and his staff had to hand-cut each paver to fit perfectly into the curved shape I wanted. What a lot of work! I am eager for the grass seed to grow to complete the picture. My only complaint was that it took 2 weeks for him to come out to see the property, 2 more weeks to get the quote, and 2 more weeks after that before he had time to do the work. It was his busiest season so I suppose a 6-week wait time is to be expected, especially since everyone sees his A ratings on Angies List....I bet he is always in demand. But the wait was worth it. I will trust him with all future landscape needs because he was professional, honest, and did a great job. I really like the end result. I've had other landscapers try to impose their style on me or give me a landscape idea that was obviously too ostentatious for our country home. Matt didn't do that, although I know he has done very high-end work for those who want it. We wanted something simple and elegant, and affordable, and Matt made it happen.

Matt was very responsive and helped us design a beautiful paver patio w/ stone steps and boulder accents. His team were prompt and very left our yard neat and clean each day when they left. We are very impressed with their professionalism and quality work. I highly recommend Warrens Landscaping.

They were prompt and efficient. They completed the work when they said they would.

We had them come out to give us an estimate. They were on time & Matt seemed very good to work with but was out of our price range.

Matt helped us plan our landscaping and pick our trees and locations.

When they are on their big commercial mowers, they try to go too fast. It tears up my lawn. The owner said he will come out and seed my lawn in the fall and has talked to his workers about it.

Everything was excellent. They are a very clean cut & courteous group of men that does great work

Matt (Warren) was extremely responsive from start to finish. He arranged to visit the house soon after our first contact, was very attentive to my requests for the desired work, and offered some good ideas. Matt promptly followed up with me following the visit and provided a very competitive quote for the work. I did not end up going with Warren Landscaping because we decided to go a different direction with our yard, but I was very impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness: in fact he was the best of the three contractors I contacted. I have other landscaping projects in the works and I will definitely be contacting Matt again.

Overall, the experience went very well. They did what they said they would do, and they cleaned up nicely afterwards. The landscaping looks very good. The price was competive. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.

Matt was very easy to talk to and he understood exactly what I wanted. He gave me an estimate within a day or two, with a few different options. It was a very reasonable quote. The best part was that he emailed me the quote, and over the course of a week I had several additional questions, all of which he answered promptly and respectfully via email. I had full confidence that he would have done a terrific job. And he said he would be there himself to do it with his staff... it's not one of those businesses where a designer or salesperson meets with you and a different crew comes out to install. The job would have been in good hands. The only reason I didn't go forward with the job is because my husband and I decided to enhance our exising deck with a pergola rather than building a separate patio.

I recently moved to the Cincinnati area and purchased a home. The back yard was completely wooded and not in good shape to accommodate my Golden Retriever. And to complicate things further, the space has a fairly heavy slope down. Matt Warren came out to consult with me on options to make the yard more appropriate for my dog. I appreciated his honesty (grass was never going to grow there) and he came up with viable options. At Matt's suggestion, I had a few trees taken out to open up the area a bit (Matt was able to recommend an excellent tree company) and his team came in, cleared the brush out, installed a very thick layer of much and built a retaining wall. What a difference! As I move forward with further landscaping I will definitely call Matt again.

The overall experience was excellent.

It went well and actually they?re doing more work for us now. We had the experience that went fine. It was done on time. It was done to our expectations. They were very customer service focused and we would use them again. It was a lot cheaper than other people had estimated. He used really good material. His responsiveness is a B because landscapers in the summer are pretty busy. Once he got here he executed on the plan he described. We?re using him right now!

The project is 3/4 of the way done. Everything is looking really, amazingly good! They are punctual, polite, and call us back in a minute if we need anything. All of their initial work is completed, but we added additional hardscaping to the project.

Matt is very knowledgeable, creative, and professional. He covered all details with us, listened to what we had in mind, presented his vision of the space, and worked with us to create a beautiful new paver patio with some landscaping and hardscapes around it to accent the existing surroundings. He let us know when he'd be there, he and his guys did excellent work and cleaned up well each day, and we hardly knew they were there each day aside from the great progress that they'd made. It was difficult at times for my wife and I to envision what he was explaining in his creative process, but he spent some time with us going over details to put us at ease, and we left it up to him with his design expertise and years of experience, and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome. His price was a bit higher than others we got estimates from, but we felt most comfortable going with Matt, and he made the price well worth what we got in the end. We're very happy with our new outdoor living space and would certainly recommend Warren's Landscaping to family and friends.
