It went great! I called early and left a voicemail but followed up with a phone call later in the morning. Ashley told me Craig was out of town but she would make a call and get back with me in ten minutes to let me know how she could help. She called back in 5 minutes to let me know that Rusty would come to make the repair in about 40 minutes as he was coming from Fairfield. He arrived almost exactly 40 minutes later. He looked at the problem identified that the valve needed to be replaced and went about to complete the job. He did so promptly and professionally. I was grateful for the immediate response and the effort to have someone come out the same day as the valve was leaking pretty badly. I found their service and attention to my needs to be exceptional. I would highly recommend them and should I have plumbing needs in the future this is the company I will call. Mr. Smucker received my call shortly after 8AM and after hearing the problem we were experiencing said he could come by late morning or early afternoon. He became available earlier than he thought and called ahead to let us know he was on his way. He completed the job promptly and left no mess. He was courteous, and very professional. This is the second occasion that we've used Mr. Smucker and have been very pleased on both occasions. We would recommend him to anyone who needs a competent plumber whose services are reasonably priced.

He was right on time. He was prepared for the job based on my description. He did a quick assessment with me and explained the nature of the problem and the possible challenge (old fixture, worn out screw that might be a problem). He outlined the general steps he was about to take and what he needed (parts he had, a part he needed to get, and shutting off the water to the fixture). His work was quick on-site, he had then had to leave briefly (as expected based on his assessment). Before leaving he explained where he was heading and showed me the piece he was going to get. He was back quickly and finished the job. He demonstrated the work and had me test (really simple - turn faucet on/off, adjust flow). I was happy with his work and he was friendly. I like that the old parts, as with a good mechanic, were shown to me. I think that's just a good, honest practice and also helped me understand the exact nature of the replacement in case I had to ask for this in the future. I thought the price was good. I would do business with them again.

First a big thank you to Craig for working with us to get the job done with very little notice. We made a last minute decision to install a new bathtub before installing new carpet in our condo. Craig was very accommodating to make himself available for the install as soon as the bathtub ordered arrived. I can honestly say I have never seen a harder worker. He showed up as planned and worked nonstop until the job was done. We also decided to have him install two new toilets while he was there. I highly recommend Craig to others and we will use him again the next time we need a plumber.

I do not know the entire cost for the plumber as it was included in a bid for an entire job I was having done. Craig installed a Mustee sink and Moen faucet in my laundry room. He also had to change out the shutoff valves which was extra to the original bid - I paid him $90 for that. While here, he showed me how the new faucet worked and I realized that my kitchen and laundry room would be opposite for the hot and cold - hot was the up position on one and cold was up on the other. He asked me if I wanted to change one to match the other and I did. He changed my kitchen to match the laundry room which made more sense. I have always thought that the plumber that put in the kitchen faucet did it backwards. I asked him how much I owed him for switching the hoses and he said nothing because he was already out here for the valves. That was great service in my opinion.

We are putting a sun room in an area that is currently an outdoor patio with an outside faucet for a hose. In order to put the faucet in another part of the backyard, Craig did have to work in a tight crawl space. Other than that it was a mediocre job. He drilled holes in the outside wall in the wrong place and the patchwork of all the holes was complete - but messy, and very obvious. It took him 1 hour and 15 minutes and he charged $350. We live less than 5 miles from his shop. Given the mediocre job, I would have expected a more standard hourly rate. The end result is functional, but not pretty.

The plumber arrived yesterday and found that the old water heater was different from the one that he brought to install. He rescheduled for first thing this morning and arrived with the correct water heater. He removed the old unit and replaced it with the new one, then worked on the hookup for the gas grill. Both jobs were completed efficiently. The plumber was tidy with his work and congenial to work with. We anticipate using him as needed in the future and have already arranged for him to do a small job on one of our rental houses. We highly recommend Smucker Plumbing to others.

He is reasonable with his price. He is punctual. He takes on all jobs. He is great and very responsive.

Craig was on time, took care of the problem quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after the job, and we have not had any further problems since then. We were pleased with his reasonable rate as well.

CRAIG SMUCKER ALWAYS COMES QUICKLY AND IS VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR URGENT SITUATION. OUR BASEMENT WOULD HAVE FLOODED IF OUR SUMP PUMP WASN'T REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY. HE HAS ALWAYS RESPONDED TO US VERY QUICKLY.
