Salesman Jeff Tromblay made a thorough study of our needs. He followed up with a detailed estimate including photos of the style fence and gates that would be installed. The installers, Dave and Russel, are top-notch. They were punctual, neat in all their work and had the process running like clock work. When they left you couldn't tell there had been anyone in the yard just a beautifully installed split rail fence that is picture perfect for our rolling and manicured back yard. The neighbors are a bit jealous and say it feels and looks like a real Kentucky Horse Farm. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product.

Everything went really great. Steve Smith came out to give me an estimate and was respectful and listened carefully and took all the time necessary to make sure I got what I wanted and what I wanted was pretty complicated. We finally settled on a design which consisted of 4 different styles of cedar privacy fence, about 214 feet long. It took about three months to get on the schedule but well worth the wait! The removal and installation took 5 days, but my site was challenging. Kevin and Joe were very professional and hardworking and cheerfully put up with my suggested design changes, the end result being that I am incredibly pleased with the results. If they give out awards for Fencing (and if they don't they should), I nominate Steve Smith for Best Salesman, Kevin and Joe for Best Fence Installers, Kevin for Best Fence Builder with his Best.Fence.Ever.

Sales rep (Dale Wilson) was very helpful in giving multiple alternatives. The installation crew (Paul and Luke) were professional and courteous. Very good experience overall.

Tim Wood was the actual service man that performed the work. Tim arrived as expected on the date that was promised. All 31 boards were replaced in an excellent manner in a very timely fashion. Tim also asked us to walk the fence and inspect his work. Certainly would recommend both Pioneer and Tim.

Went very well. The sales guy Dale was friendly and easy to work with. The installers, Russell and Dave, were also friendly, fast and prompt. I had an issue with the way one of the gates was built. Dale had no issue making the correction. The guys came out to talk with me about the issue, and decided to remove and replace the entire gate. The new gate is installed very much to the quality I expected. Overall... a great experience. Best, Tim G

This is quite possibly the WORST customer service I have ever received. I was/am having my backyard fence replaced. The appraiser came out to the house, saw our fence and gave us a price for the job and it was written down and signed as a contract. Half of the cost was paid to them and then we received a date for our project. There is a stone pillar on one side of our fence that is tilted and he said, WHILE STANDING IN MY BACK YARD, that this could be taken down as part of the project and the new fence replaced without a problem. We finally get a date, almost EIGHT weeks from the time of appraisal, and the crew comes out to the house. When the guys get there, they say that will NOT be able to address the stone pillar or that side of the fence and that there would be a SIGNIFICANT increase in cost to have it removed. Excuse me? Your company came to my home, appraised the job, and created a SIGNED contract that included this! So they proceeded to replace TWO sides of my fence and leave the last old side still standing, untouched. So now I have a ridiculous looking back yard with two new sides, and the old rotting one side left behind. Keep in mind that the old side with the pillar is falling over and the ONLY reason we chose to replace the fence in the first place. This was done the last week of June. The company NEVER answers the phone and denies they said they would address the stone pillar. Why would I ever have agreed to hire you, and pay you, and have two sides of my fence replaced?! How can you complete two sides of a job and never return to finish it? Not only that, then stop answering phone calls when I try to get your company to come and finish the job they started. Ridiculous. They still have not called back and have still not finished the job that I paid them to do. The WORST customer service. They're unresponsive, dishonest, and don't do the job the say they will. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Our salesperson Dale was very helpful and quickly created an estimate for us. We used their tree service sub-contractor to remove a tree in the path of the proposed fence and they quickly removed the tree for a very good price. Mike and Dave were our hard-working installers who had the beautiful cedar fence up and finished in about 4 hours. They even removed some old heavy landscape timbers from along the fence line and disposed of them for us. Thanks guys.

I sent an email with an aerial photo of my fence area traced on it. The fences showed lengths and I listed the the number and size of gates I would need. I was simply interested in a ball park quote. The next morning I received a phone call regarding my email. The woman who called did not introduce herself by name. She jumped right into confirming my address so that she could inform me that I would have to pay $75 for a quote. Their website does not mention a service area or paid quotes, however, I am less than 30 minutes and 20 miles from their location. When I questioned the woman about the policy, she said "well, we have to make it worth our while." The whole conversation was treated as though they would be doing me some sort of favor to quote my 900ft of fence project. No thank you, I will use one of the other 20 companies that put fences in my area without charging me for quotes and treating me like they are doing me a favor.

Fence is beautiful, Gates are high quality. Rolled the fence line with the curve of yard and driveway. The crew was excellent, on time, professional and very skilled. We are more than pleased.

He provided useful suggestions about how to maximize the space in our backyard. The crew that installed the fence (Dave and Russ) verified the layout before beginning work, kept us informed about their progress and worked hard to finish the project in the timeline they originally told us. The quality of the split rail wood far exceeded our expectations, and it looks like it will last many years.

Kevin, Mike, and Luke did a wonderful job removing a chain link fence and replacing it with a picket style fence in my backyard. They were on time, courteous, and quick working. They were aware of our desire to save a tree in the fence line and just had to remove one branch to make it work. I would recommend Pioneer Fence.

Excellent! Steve Smith was very responsive and accommodating. I changed my mind several times about what I wanted and he never seemed to mind - even came out a second time for measurements. The 2 men who installed it were friendly, prompt and did an excellent job - I was amazed that they finished it in one day. I absolutely love my fence and my dog is very happy too!!

They actually arrived earlier than expected (a good thing). The two men that were installing the fence had a hard time because of all the rock in our yard. They dug the post holes by hand. It was very hot those days and they worked hard. They were always polite and finished the job in 2 days as the digging took longer than they expected. They were professional at all times and cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with the results.

I sent an on line request for someone to call me to come out to give me an estimate on a fence. After 4 or 5 days I had not been contacted. When I called to inquire why no one had contacted me, no apologies were offered and I was told they were on a 10 day lag on calling people back. I honestly can't understand how it takes 10 days to return a potential customer's request for a call. What poor customer service not to at least respond to my email that they were on a lag. When I inquired as to how long to install a fence after an estimate was accepted I was told 9 weeks.

My sales rep (Dale) was excellent and very knowledgeable. The installer did a great job as well! I would use these guys again and recommend them to anyone! I feel like the product itself is a little better than other fencing you might see out there and the installers really knew what they were doing. The gates turned out particularly nice!

When it got started it went very well. We had to wait about 4 weeks to get scheduled (original estimate was 4-7 weeks. Everyone else's time line was 2-5 weeks). These folks are apparently quite popular as witnessed by their excellent ratings in Angie's List and BBB. When the work got underway it was complete in 2 days. The original price was the highest of the 4 but knowing that, they were able to work with me on the price and they had the best (IMHO) overall layout and quality. What sold me were three things: 1) Very professional estimation with several options. 2) I liked their choice of wood for the type of fence we needed. (split rail and poplar). 3) I liked their install choices. They dug their post holes with a manual post hole digger giving me better "fitting" post holes with less disturbed soil. This particular crew had a powered digger but took the extra effort to manually dig the hole because it gave them the best post hole for the customer (less disturbed soil). I was also impressed with their choice of back fill. Most others specified concrete for the posts but they used gravel. In my experience, gravel gave the best performance in our local winters freeze and thaw cycles.

Dave and Kodie were very nice and took pride in their work.

It went just fine, I definitely would use them again. It was neat and looks good.
