I am extremely happy with the work that they did! Chris and Chris were very professional and they work very very hard! I am just very pleased with the fence in general.

They did the job for the price that was estimated, they did it on time and they did a beautiful job. Professional and polite.

Submitted a request online for an estimate. They quickly got back to me and scheduled a time to come out and were very courteous and professional. The estimate was in line with others I received. We did use another company because we had additional work that needed to be done in our yard an the other company did fence and the other services too.

The entire job was done very well. Nice installers, very friendly, as well as professional. Steve Smith, the estimator was very good at his job, and followed up on questions I had.m Overall it was a pleasant and smooth procedure.

The measurements were taken on site with careful attention to drainage pipes, trees & bushes near the fence line, and the property line. All the fence posts are set in pea gravel instead of concrete, and have held up perfectly. The ground slopes unevenly, yet the finished fence has a smooth slope without gaps at the bottom that the dog would get through. The fence was installed in good time, and the site well-cleared of debris afterwards.

I called Pioneer Fence to give us an estimate on replacing our fence. It is a custom fence and I needed to be specific on what I was looking for so it was important that I meet with the estimator in person. I called and the person at Pioneer Fence took my number and asked what days I would prefer to meet. I gave my preference but said I would need to speak specifically with whomever would be coming out to confirm the time and date to make sure I could be home from work, etc. I never heard a response, but instead an estimator showed up on a Saturday morning when I wasn't available. The estimator told my husband that they had confirmed the appointment with me, which was not at all accurate.

The company was very willing to work with us and was prompt to get out to inspect the damage on our property. They quickly provided an estimate, which was reasonable considering the quality of the work they did. The estimate and the bill we received at the end were identical- so no surprises! My only criticism would be that they indicated over the phone the would be out by the end of the week, and it took them two weeks to get out to do our repairs. They left one random fence post in our yard, but overall, the quality of their work is great and we are thrilled with our new fence.

currently out seeking estimates for fence replacement. I submitted a request online approx 2 days ago, just rcvd callback. the gentleman on the phone was cordial, however after explaining the work I needed done I received the response" you are a little far out for me to drive (your website says u service greater Cincinnati. .dont put that on there if you dont service the area)". he says he will email a rough estimate, and THEN if I am ok with numbers, we can set up something. If you ask me, this is not a company who is interested in my work...I dont care that my home is out of your way, you could of sent email with that rather than waste my time with a call. I've had other companies, might I add, who are based further east than you are who sent someone to see the project in person. don't understand how you can expect a homeowner to accept a proposal on something you haven't even seen.

We were really happy with them and they do great work.

We were going to do our own fence to save money. I am so glad we went with Pioneer instead. They built a beautiful, memorable fence with lattice and Gothic posts that transformed our back yard. There was one little place that was not quite straight, and they fixed it immediately. We were very happy with the finished product, and I would recommend them to others.

I liked the product they installed and the guarantee they offered us. They offered a longer guarantee on the fence and the labor than most of the other fencing companies. When they were here they were very good. What I didn’t like was their inability to meet the timeline they had set for us and the fact that they didn’t show up for appointments when they were supposed to. We still have one post that is loose and it has been two weeks and they haven’t returned our phone calls nor have they shown up to fix the problem. I would not use them again.

Owner shared quote on 5/19/2012. We called to say we were mailing in the contract on 5/21. They said it would be 2-3 weeks for the materials to come in. We called them two weeks later and he said he never got the contract and hadn't ordered the materials for our fence. However, they'd already cashed our check for the full amount. It took a week of circular phone calls to get it ironed out that we had indeed mailed in the contract and they had cashed the check. When someone did arrive to perform the work they left early in the day (mid-afternoon) with it about half done, without telling anyone in the home when they left or when they would be back. This was a Friday and by the time we realized they weren't coming back to finish it was too late to call their office to find out when it would be done. (We had planned to have a grill out in the yard that Saturday). They finished most of the fence the next week. Unfortunately, they left without installing one of the two gates, AND without telling us it wasn't installed. We found it when we looked around and had to call the office. They said they still needed to order it. When they finally came to install it, they again, did not call or leave a note or anything (before or after). It was literally eight weeks from the time we called to confirm our order and mailed the contract in to the time the whole thing was finished. They'd quoted "two-three weeks". We sure got the final bill on time though. Overall I was very disappointed in their responsiveness, professionalism, timeliness and overall attitude. I will not go to them for future work, nor would i recommend them to a friend.

Their prices are competitive. I would recommend them to my friends.

They did a really good job. I got an estimate from another company that wanted to set the posts in cement. Pioneer said that you shouldn't use concrete and that you should use peagravel so that the water can drain. It made perfect sense to me. They had the job done in a few hours. I was so glad that I got a second opinion. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Overall, I give them an A. The price and quality of work was very good. We would use them again, and refer them to friends and family members.

The fence looks great and they installed when I was out of town. The only small negative is that they ran into some unforeseen roots and bricks when demoing the old fence that made the job harder than they anticipated, leading them to call me afterwards and ask for an additional fee. I thought it was fair, and agreed to pay some of the additional request; but they should have noticed the roots since they were visible during the quote. I was happy they pulled it and therefore agreed to pay a portion of the additional charges (about $150). Overall, they did a great job and a nice selection of fence types.

We needed a fence to keep our neighbor from continuing to cut over on our property, while sinking cutting machines & damaging our property. Pioneer came, gave us an estimate that we felt was reasonable. We made some adjustments. They made sure we had the property surveyed, suggested where to set the fence and did so. Very nice, polite men. Arrived on time, did the work, and cleaned up after themselves. We definitely used them because of Angie's list.

He looked at my property and told me that he was not interested in the job. He did not want to expand on why he would not take the job and simply changed the subject. This has lead me to believe that he was not interested because it was more complex job than what he wanted to do and that he may have guessed that the price would be beyond my comfort level.

Their arrived on time, and completed the work as scheduled. Their pricing was in the same ballpark, and in fact lower that other companies I received bids from. I’m pleased with the outcome of their, and am a happy customer.

From beginning to end, our experience with Pioneer Fence Company was outstanding. Steve, Dale, and the work crew were very responsive, and provided outstanding materials and craftsmanship. They even promptly returned to our home a few weeks later to repair a small section of the fence that had been damaged by a neighbor's accident. To date, we are extremely happy with the fence, as well as the job that was performed. We highly recommend their services.

The quote clearly defined the work and gave us prices for additional items that we thought we may be interested in. The price was less than other quotes we had received. It took about 3 weeks before it could be installed. But it was done in a day - no muss or fuss.

Mr. Forbes was prompt for estimate appt. Several days later I sent a deposit to get on the schedule and was told it would be in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, I called to inquire when the fence would be installed. After some discussion, he agreed to install the fence the following Monday. It rained Monday, so it was postponed until Thursday. The fence looks good and is what I expected.

It was pretty straight forward and there were no problems. They did what they said they were going to do and I gave them a little more direction because I had some idea about the way I wanted it installed. They followed my directions and everything went smoothly.
