Muhlberger was recommended by a plumbing contractor highly rated on Angie's List and had positive references that we checked out. As the sewer line is several feet underground, a backhoe was needed which pretty badly messed up the yard and left large oil stains on our driveway. The job took longer than expected because when they reached the end of our sewer line, they discovered that there was an improper connection of our line to the Metropolitan Sewer District's (MSD's) sewer line, and MSD had to be called in to repair that area. Although this did not result in additional cost to us, it did delay completion of the project by more than one week. The large pile of dirt left was "settled" by Muhlberger too much so there is now about one foot depression in our yard where the work was done. Two sections of concrete had to be removed which we will have to replace and we will have to regrade the yard (we were made aware of both of these issues in advance).
Description of Work: Installed a new 50 foot PVC sewer line from the house to the street and two clean outs (one near the house and one near the street) to replace a deteriorating cast iron sewer line.
