Description of Work: Marvin and his crew came in and painted both our high ceiling entry way and great room. He applied a primer before giving our walls their final coat. He did an excellent job and was very thorough. Before completing the work he inspected it and made finishing touches to it. I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: I contacted Marvin Lilly to do some interior painting while my family was away on vacation. Marvin and his team did a great job and left my house neat as a pin. It was a painless way to accomplish some needed work. This was my second such experience with Marvin and I would not hesitate to engage him in the future.

 + 0 moreShowed up for estimate on time, gave an estimate over the phone. Met me on the first day of the job with a copy of the estimate. Price was exactly as estimated. Marvin is quite talkative. His work is very good, especially for the price. He is punctual and polite.

 + -1 moreMarvin painted our full unfinished basement and downstairs/upstairs hallway. He quoted the job one week and started the next. The quality of his work is excellent. His quoted price was hands down better than the other two we received. A few weeks later we requested that he provide a quote for the entire exterior of our home. He came and bid the job in a timely manner and provided a competitive bid. We have not yet pursued getting the exterior painted. We will definitely contact him for future painting needs.

 + -1 moreMr. Lilly stopped by to assess the job and to find out exactly what I wanted to accomplish. He promptly arrived the following morning, made the repairs, and painted everything as discussed. He was pleasant, professional and efficient. The hallway looks great! I highly recommend Marvin Lilly Painting and would definitely call him again.
Description of Work: Repair the drywall on the ceiling and walls over the stairs and in the upper hallway. Paint the ceiling, walls and trim in the same hallway.

 + 0 moreIt went great! The work was completed in 5 days. I'd definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: Mr. Lilly and his crew were pleasant and very professional. My house and back porch (inside and out) were power washed, woodpecker holes filled, areas around doors and windows checked and sealed where necessary. Mr. Lilly even painted my 30-year old aluminum front screen door, which was very faded, with paint he had. This was not in the contract; this was extra on his part, and he did not charge extra. While I was washing my wrought iron patio furniture, I asked Mr. Lilly if he knew anyone who did sandblasting, as the paint finish was peeling and rust was showing in some places. He said he could grind off the old paint and re-paint the 9-piece set for $150. Both the house and furniture look great.
