We had used this company for a prior cleaning and it was satisfactory. We called for a second cleaning but the cleaning person left shortly after arriving due to "bio-hazards". Claimed animal feces on carpet, but they were just dried up spots of cat vomit which she was not asked to clean anyway. Claimed blood on carpet and wall of bedroom, but this was just spilled Hawaiian Punch. I guess they didn't believe me! There might have been some cat feces in basement where the cat sometimes misses the box...but again, she was not asked to clean that area of the house UPDATE; 6/27/2011: Maid in Cincinnati is correct in that I do not live in the house on a full-time basis, however, I did see the house the day after the aborted cleaning attempt. All I can say is if this is an example of a "difficult clean" they can't clean many really dirty houses! As I stated before, any cat feces would have been in the basement by the litter box, an area the cleaner did not have to go into. I'm sorry she didn't feel she could work around the dried up hairballs on the carpet. Surely an experienced cleaner can tell the difference between blood and Hawaiian Punch!! It is true that I was not charged and Andrea was always very friendly and respectful on the phone. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

I was not there to let the housecleaner in but when I got home, it was visually pleasing.

The service began as I expected, and I showed the staff member what I wanted cleaned. We did the tour and she "Kriss" began to work on the basement bathroom. We have granite tile in the shower as well the entire bathroom floor. our shower stall floor has black natural stone, with an enhancer on it. The grout color was a very dark grey before she began cleaning. She promptly removed "Comet bleach" cleaner and began to scrub both the natural stone floor and the granite walls of the shower. (For anyone that owns granite, you would never use bleach on it). I questioned the product she was using and she told me it was fine and not to worry about it. - Our tile floor is now a light grey and the grout is closer to white now. It looks awful. To clean the walls of the shower, she used my dogs water dish to fling, toss, throw, splash water on the walls, carelessly soaking the ceiling. I saw large bubbles of water dripping from the ceiling to the floor. I asked her about this, and she quickly responded with, "its not a problem ill wipe the ceiling down after im done. - The bubbled celing was water soaked, and the paint bubbled, and has now cracked. It looks pretty bad. There is no other bubbling of the paint in my shower, except the areas that she splashed water on. Kriss also used comet on the Granite tile floors in the bathroom. The granite now, after repeated attempts to clean it, polish it with natural granite cleaner, has proved fruitless. It is dull and does not look like it used to. - Their response was "It may have removed some of the residue left by other products and what you may be noticing is that they are no longer coated with a shiny residue" Hello? You made my floor dull and are saying its better that way? Kriss finished mopping the floor with comet, and set her wet mop(with comet residue i am sure) on the carpet just outside my bathroom. -The carpet had to be professionally clean, as i have pets and i am not ok with bleach products being left on the floor. We did not notice any discoloring, but all in all, pretty careless and disgusting in my oppinion. Kriss proceded with the 2nd bathroom and was similarly careless in there. I pointed out a couple of problem areas, and she did not address them with concern. They were still there after. I ended up cleaning it my self. Kriss then began mopping the hardwood floors. I pointed out several areas where my dogs (gross i know) drueled on the floors. Kriss began mopping using my kitchen sink as her mop bucket. She told me "normally we use the kitchen sink, unless you dont want me to", i just went with it hoping that she would soon leave. I find this very disgusting. I bit my lip and just waited for it to finish. - Kriss did not address the problem areas, left the house asap, and did not check her own work. I had to ask her to wipe down several areas in the bathrooms, and kitchen before she left. Kriss compained about how rude her next client is, and how snooty they were. I find that completely disrespectful to complain about other customers, in front of customers... The company followed up with me and asked if i had any concerns. I expressed them all, and Andrea(the owner) said she was very sorry and that if i could put the complaints in writing she would appreciate it. Andrea even offered to send a contractor out to repair the ceiling, and i told her i would get back to her after i wrote her a letter. I did as she asked and sent a letter. Days later, I received an email from a random person named "TOM" The email was Mafia style "protection" and tried to disprove every claim that i made. Used terms like "I talked to several contractors" and "talked to many painters". The email was basically trying to explain that i was incorrect, I dont know what im talking about, and ended with "We do appreciate your taking the time to share all this with us and wish you the best with your home in the future." "Tom" also complained to me that i "followed Kriss around the house, and stood over her while she worked" Is there anyone here that wouldnt follow a stranger in your own house? I mean i dont know this person, and yes I have had service people steal from me in the past. I wasnt accusing her of anything, but yes i stayed in the same room or close to the room at all times. That takes some real nerve to question a home ownes decision to follow a stranger around their own home. I couldnt believe that after Andrea was so apologetic and concerned and even offered to send out a contractor, that it turned into a very defensive and provocative conversation. I wasnt even planning on having a contractor fix the paint in the ceiling, as i understand mistakes happen and seemed like Andrea was truly concerned. The tone of these conversations changed and i felt obligated as a consumer to respond requesting a refund so that indeed i could get these issues resolved. To get everything back to perfect, including the damaged tile, grout, celing, it would easily cost me roughly $3000. They arent completely destroyed, but i care very much for my home, and it just isnt as spectacular anymore. I was only asked for the $120 so i could have someone scrape and repaint the area in the shower that needed it. I suggested they could send a check to my address. I never received a response. Andrea seems to be a very nice lady, and I thought for a moment that this was a quality company. It lacks serious customer service, and used intimidation to keep me quiet. I will not be quiet, and i will strongly reccommend you NOT use this company. This company has made no effort to respond to my request and i have given them over a month to do so. cleanedsd fairly well needed to dust better move little things. bathroom were done first they were cleaned, then vacuming done. I like to dust first but I forgot to tell her.You could tell things were cleaner.

They were much more effective than another housecleaning service that I had used. I spent $200 on that work. They had a small crew and got the work done faster than another company I had used. They were very personable. They were non-smokers. They came in and got right to work even though it was their first time. They seemed to take pride in their work. They have an online calendar on their website. They did a good job. I will use them again.

Wonderful. Kris was so friendly. She came prepared, asked questions, answered my questions and was enthusiastic. She did such a great job that I am having her back every two weeks. It all went better than I expected.

She arrived at the designated time and got to work immediately. I definitely would use this service again and recommend it to my friends as I thought she did an excellent job. She left my condo looking and smelling very clean..

They were professional over the phone. They were responsive in getting back to me.

They do a really great job for us. We have them in every two weeks. We have been extremely pleased with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for general housecleaning. They are very thorough and the few times we had anything we weren't exactly happy with they correct it immediately or give us credit on the next time around. They are very responsive.

Samantha is very professional and accomodating to your requests. She was on time (at my home before I was!) and worked very efficiently. I haven't seen my bathroom and kitchen this clean in a long time! I will also say that the process of making an appointment was very easy. I filled out their online request form, they had an estimate sent out to me within the next 24 hours and the appointment was set. They sent out a confirmation email the day before as well. I also like how you can pre-pay online with a credit card. Will definitely be calling them again!!!

The work that was completed was good. I thought 6 hours (2 people 3 hours) would be enough time to clean these areas thoroughly. I am very particular about how things are cleaned so perhaps (since this was my first professional clean) I needed two book a couple more hours. I would rate the cleaned areas 80% and the completion of the list 80%. They arrived and started working right away and didn't stop until time was up. They were friendly and personable. I would use the service again.

We have utilized Maid in Cincinnati's cleaning service twice: October 19 and November 2nd. Initially, I left a message for the owner Sunday, 10/17 and spoke with her Monday, 10/18 and the cleaning was scheduled for Tuesday, 10/19. Two housecleaners provided the service that Tuesday, Naomi and Kriss because our house was in such disarray. They spent 4 hours total, equal to 8 hours of service. These ladies both worked very hard, were very nice, accommodating and individually thorough. However, Kriss stood out as the more take charge person. She noticed that my vacuum cleaner bags were full and I did not have any extra bags, so she made a trip to her car to get her own vacuum. I noticed her paying quite a bit of attention to detail, wiping down doors, knobs, handles, wiping stairs. She even hung a picture on the bathroom wall where I had placed a hook. I had left the picture on the counter. We are in the process of redoing the master bedroom so it is pretty disorganized. Kriss made it look a lot neater by arranging the chairs, side table and lamps. On that day, Naomi cleaned the first floor. When she announced that she was finished, I noticed several areas that had not been dusted and a mirrored side table had not been cleaned. She apologized and then took care of those areas. She did not clean underneath a family room couch (with legs) that was noticeably dirty, which I did not see until later. Naomi is very nice - she vacuumed the basement upon my request and washed dirty dishes without being asked but I would like more attention to detail. On the second cleaning, 11/2 Kriss came alone for a 5 hour cleaning and everything went very well. She cleaned the stove top and all of the ick and yuck were gone from the top of the refrigerator!! My husband even noticed. She thoroughly dusted chairs, table pedestals. There were no dust balls underneath couches. I observed her wiping down windowsills, french doors. Kriss is an excellent cleaner, as well as an organizer. I plan to use Maid in Cincinnati for future cleanings.

They cleaned everything that I asked for, and more. My bathrooms truly sparkled!

Chris did an excellent job. She arrived right on time, was friendly and professional. She tackled two floors that were in real need of scrubbing and left them looking great. She also cleaned the bathroom and made it look (and smell!) amazing. I was very pleased and can't wait to have her return.

Wow! What a fantastic experience with Maid in Cincinnati! I have used them twice now. First, I was able to schedule the entire service online and via email. Andrea gave me an estimate based on my description of our house, but she called me at work to confirm the estimate when her employee arrived at my house. Second, they accommodated all my requests. I asked for only a couple interior windows to be cleaned (not all), and they let me request a specific type of cleaner for my hardwood floor. They cleaned all the nooks and crannies of my greasy gas stovetop in the kitchen. Third, and most amazing of all, they got rid of all the dog hair in my house! I have two dogs who shed profusely, and I cannot keep up with the furballs. They even made my microfiber couches look like new again. Finally, I was able to pay for the service online, which I love. It's difficult to find something negative with this experience. My only complaints are from their first visit: they didn't dust the top of the refrigerator or under the TV stand... minor details, in my opinion. Also, they are a little more expensive than I can afford for bi-weekly cleaning, but I will use them for deep cleaning before a party, holiday, etc.

The service provider was wonderful! She arrived promptly at set time, asked for specific instructions and requests with friendly attentiveness. The service provider worked magic on my house getting the six rooms spotless - (including tops of cabinets and outside windows) all with pleasant enthusiasm and efficiency. I already made an additional appointment to use Maid in Cincinnati's excellent service.

Great experience. Very nice people. Cleaned full bath and half bath. Vaccumed downstairs carpet, upstairs bedroom, hallway and stairs. Cleaned off two overhead fans. Mopped kitchen and entrance foyer, did windows and storm doors in front and rear of house. Dusted and cleaned downstairs and upstairs bedroom. Used their own cleaning supplies. Used our vaccum which I prefer for sanitary reasons.

Excellent. Their work was thorough and of very good quality. I had specific things I needed cleaned and they followed my requests perfectly. They were extremely professional and were wonderful about communicating with me. I am very pleased and look forward to working with them again. Great job!

My brother-in-law is a slob. When he moved out of his apartment they told him that he had to get his apartment cleaned or they were keeping his deposit. He was out of town so I called Maid In Cincinnati for him. Two days later I met them at his apartment. They cleaned his stove and fridge, even sprayed the light switches and doorknobs with disinfectant which I thought was a great idea. It took them about 3 hours to do his 1 bedroom apartment but it was a MESS. He liked them so much he hired them to clean his new house on a regular basis.
