Dan Landon came out within a week of my request to give me an estimate. The work was completed a couple of days later. Very professional job, and I can't imagine how it could have been any better or easier.

I thought he did an excellent job. They were prompt. They came out and gave me an estimate and returned a couple of days later and did the work. The work took them about 45 minutes. I would use them again and recommend their service.

The team was diligent, open, honest and punctual. If we were dissatisfied with a detail, it was corrected immediately.

The technicians came to the site on the scheduled day and got right to work. Broken foundation was repaired by adding cement to splice back together. Wall panel was removed so that the frame could be put back in its proper place. New trim and wall panel put in place and painted. Very pleased with the results.

I contracted with Dan Landon, Home Solutions Handyman in 2011 to build a bathroom in my home. Dan come out and assessment the laundry room area and determined that a bathroom could be built in part of the laundry room. The part of the laundry room where he determined the bathroom could be built is where the main breaker panel is located. In 2012 Home Solutions Handyman built the bathroom in my house as determined by Dan (this included installing a commode, sink, paneling, flooring and electric work. In 2017 during an inspection I was advised that the breaker box is out of code because it is located near a water source and in the bathroom. I contacted Dan and advised him about this on and he came out to my house on Saturday, September 30 to look at the area. When asked why his company would allow the bathroom to be located in an area that is out of code he advised that he didn't remember installing the bathroom but he had the paperwork that shows that his company did in fact install the bathroom. I attempted to work with him to get help to reconfigure the bathroom or help with the cost of moving the breaker box since his company installed the bathroom out of code. I would expect that the experts would know code and would not commit this violation that is now incurring additional cost to me. Dan advised me that he didn't feel legally obligated to help with the cost of moving the breaker box.

I went well.. Although they needed to apply several layers of mud, they finished the job in about four hours.

It went great. Rod and his helper arrived about 5 minutes before their appointment. They were polite and very professional. The quality of their work was excellent.

Horrible. High price for subpar work. Left a huge mess in the work site. Damaged my tub then accused me of lying about it. Improperly installed plumbing fixtures such that I had to have a plumber come out and fix. Never use them again.

Basically they left the location of the column where it had been pushed and replaced two pieces of wood that were rotten. Because they did not move the column to the original position the garage door did not close properly. I had to hold payment until the garage door functioned properly. Not happy at all with the work.

Handyman was excellent. I think he felt bad about the high price I was being charged for ten minutes work so he checked for possible loose pieces and secured them.

The estimate came in at $11,000. It was our first estimate, and it immediately took Home Solutions out of the running -- it simply wasn't worth that much to us. When we eventually had three other estimates on the job, none came in higher than $4000. Either Home Solutions did not want our business, or they are positioning themselves toward customers who are too busy to get other quotes.

We were VERY impressed and satisfied with HSH. Dan came out to give the estimate and was on time, courteous, knew what he was talking about, and gave a very fair price. The scheduling was a breeze to set up, and Paul came out to do the work. Paul was very nice, explained exactly what he was going to do....and he did it. He did the job right, did not make a mess, and cleaned up upon completion. Very impressed by his quality of work and attention to detail. We had searched for someone to fix an exterior wood wall by our deck, and decided to go with HSH. I have to say, our expectations were exceeded. HSH is what a home repair/handyman company SHOULD be.

It was very expensive but I went with it anyway b/c the style of the cedar is hard to find. I also figured it would be good quality, you get what you pay for, right? NOT! The wood replaced is fine but the work was sloppy. Paint splattered on a new asphalt driveway and on patio pavers. I would have thought a painter knew to put down a drop cloth. They also broke off a piece of cedar siding next to one they replaced, filled up the hole that was created with a bunch of caulk, painted over it and didn't mention it to me. The gentleman who prepared the expensive quote sent unqualified, sloppy help to do the work. I would never want this company to touch anything else on my home. Fix one thing, break another. He claims they are "Craftsmen" but would a Craftsmen, admitted by Landon who tried to clean up the paint himself, have splattered paint all over. This is not Craftsmen's level work but painting 101. During the complaint process with this vendor, Dan Landon, kept referring to the broken wood as a "minor caulk issue". I'm not sure if he recognizes this was wood damage, not caulk damage as these materials are two completely different products. He offered to reseal the driveway to cover the splattered paint and to insert more caulk into the damaged/broken cedar shingle. This offer/fix was what suited his company, not what was the best fix for me, the consumer. The cheapest fix, for expensive but sloppy work. He also insinuated the wood was already damaged prior to the work, even though he took prior pictures to prepare the quote. But he couldn't or wouldn't share those pictures. To imply it was already damaged, was quite offensive to me. Landon implied I was cost sensitive, well aren't we all. The way I reduced the quote was to go with cleaning and staining my own deck v.s. Home Solutions (which was on original quote too), and glad I did. He wanted $1600.00 for that too, on top of the $1669.00 for the cedar repairs. At least I didn't splatter the stain all over while sealing my deck. HE didn't want to replace the shingle his "Craftsmen" (Paul) broke because of how close it was to the window, then said I was trying to defer the costs when he had talked me out of it. I bet he knew it would be difficult to fix and didn't want to touch it. But they did anyway, by not taking care when removing the shingle just to the left of the piece damaged. With broken wood and paint splatters, it seems to me, they were in a hurry to get this job done. Not only didn't they mention the broken wood, they didn't mention the paint splatters either. But, "They wouldn't do damage and not address it". Really? Well they did not mention either to me! I hadn't responded earlier b/c quite frankly, I didn't notice it at first being distracted by the paint splatters. Also, I was very busy the month after work was done. Why am I being questioned here, I paid them and I shouldn't have to justify how soon I responded. Landon's right, I shouldn't have paid them outright. My expensive mistake which doesn't make inferior work okay. Please read all reviews on this vendor, there are similar complaints about Landon's assumptions and condescending attitudes. Promises made cannot always be kept. Unless it's a simple job, go somewhere else.

It went very well. His crew did what he said they would do. Very happy with the work. The siding is still intact with no problems since installation.

They did great work! All three separate jobs were done timely and with high quality, and I have a personal high standard, too. They were good to work with from the initial estimate to scheduling to execution. Dan Landon handled the estimate and scheduling, and his handymen executed exactly against the proposal. They were there when they said they would be there. They respected my yard and my property and cleaned up after themselves. They communicated well with me -- by email and by phone, whatever was best for me. They worked with my schedule. I was very satisfied with their work, but they were really easy to work with and very professional through the entire process. I will not hesitate to use them again, and I recommend you consider them as well. On a previous job, I had them reattach some kitchen cabinets that had fallen off the wall. They did a wonderful job with that as well, so this was my second time using them. I will continue to do so.

Excellent job of power-washing done to remove pealing stain and the ground in dirt. I chose the stain color and it was applied several days after the power-washing. This work really revived the look of the deck. Very happy with the results.

The carpenters did not do exactly what the owner of the company originally promised. Which was fine except for some siding on the roof that they replaced but put back in contact with the shingles instead of leaving a gap so that it would not rot again. But other than that they were trying to do the job the best way they knew given what they found as they worked.

Working with the owner, Dan, to get the appt set up and details of work scheduled was handled professionally and efficiently. On the scheduled repair day, Paul and Mike showed up to my house on time and did a brief walk-through to review each item and discuss any questions I had. They were surprised by the couch removal (I added this service late, so they did not initially catch it on the job description), but they stated "no problem, whatever is needed, we will take care of it". They were then able to determine the most efficient use of their time for each task, and who would be responsible for what. The job was completed in one day. Paul and Mike provided quality service on each repair they completed, reviewed each one with me and explained all details (as appropriate). I will definately use this company for any future handyman needs and will request the team of Paul and Mike return for any future work. Attention to detail is very important to me and my husband, and we take the time to inspect each item worked on; Paul and Mike did not disappoint us! I highly recommend this company and their service. Great job!

It was fine. They came in and did exactly what they have to do. I was having issues with electrical for a reason and they figured out there was a loose breaker in the box and they put a new one in. It was pretty much quick in, quick out.

I had used Home Solutions Handyman once before to my satisfaction so am a repeat customer. I had developed a list of jobs, and Dan promptly came over to inspect and offer suggestions. Later that afternoon he emailed his quote. The next week he sent Mike and Paul over to do the work. Both guys were great. They were very pleasant and professional and got right to work. A number of skills were necessary to complete the work and both showed they were fully prepared to accomplish everything on my list. They completed 98% of the job in less than a day and only had to come back the second day to grout around the ceramic tile and install the computer wire shelf. They cleaned up all areas they had worked in. I am pleased with every aspect of my experience with Home Solutions Handyman and would not hesitate to call them back for my next list of tasks.

It went very well, and both jobs were completed within one day by two experienced craftsmen (employees, not sub-contractors). There have been no problems or issues with either job. I was very pleased with this work, and plan to use Home Solutions Handyman again in the near future.
