+ -1 moreCommon Cents handled all the paperwork and shipping and kept me informed about where my coin was in the grading process (which does take a little while). They called me when it arrived at their store and was able to pick it up immediately. I was extremely happy with the service I received. I have continued to do other coin-related business with them since as their prices (both buying AND selling) consistently beat all other local competitors.
Description of Work: I had acquired what I believed to be a rare coin but I wasn’t absolutely sure. I first went to a competing local coin dealer to seek further guidance and information about the coin, but was told to come back another day when a person with more expertise was working. I did make a second trip and the expert was very helpful and provided some good advice. He advised that I have the coin professionally certified/graded and provided a quote for doing so. However, I didn’t feel that the price quoted was the best and decided to seek additional guidance and a quote from Common Cents Coins. Ryan and Brad at Common Cents were both able to identify the coin and its likely authenticity immediately. Their advice to have the coin professionally certified was similar to the competitor’s advice, but the quote provided to do so was about 35% less. I went with them.
