They came right away; started the work when they said they would. Their estimate was spot on. We were very pleased with them.

My last experience with them went very well. Their technician who came out to clean found some holes in the furnace and informed us about it as it was a major issue. It was a safety concern for us. They were fantastic.

After receiving three estimates for this work, I chose Baker because of their price, willingness to deal with oil tanks, friendliness and attention to detail. Unlike another company I dealt with, Baker gave a thorough explanation of their product and answered all my questions, but without a hard sell. Due to the location of my furnace, it was necessary to vent it out the front of my house. All other companies I spoke with told me I would be stuck with the standard PVC "elephant trunks" sticking out below my living room window. Baker instead used a special order vent that only sticks 2" off the siding and can be painted. I was very pleased with the installation process. All Baker employees were polite and prompt. They cleaned the work area up thoroughly each day. When they discovered that my old humidifier was in need of some replacement parts, they rebuilt it for me free of charge. At the completion of the work, one of the employees spent a significant amount of time explaining to me how all of the different pieces of equipment functioned, and patiently answered all of my questions. As the weather became colder, about two months after installation, I discovered that the thermostat was not properly regulating the interchange between the heat pump and the furnace. A Baker employee promptly came to my home to inspect the thermostat and run several tests. Determining that there was a manufacturing defect in the thermostat, Baker replaced it. From the very first time I contacted Baker for an estimate, I have been impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate my irregular work schedule. Unlike many contractors I have dealt with, a receptionist has answered the phone every time I have called. The office staff has always been professional and, on my behalf, submitted all paperwork necessary to obtain a free extended equipment warranty from Tempstar and a credit from the power company.

Services were performed in a very efficient manner with minimal interruption to normal household life. Service personnel were courteous and explained all details requested. Mr. Baker, made the original visit to our home and he followed up afterward to ensure that we were happy.

I was very unhappy with the service. They said we needed a whole new unit furnace and all. The cost was way over $2000.00. We got a second opinion and it wasn't the furnace at all it was the heat pump which cost us less than half of the price they gave us to fix what they said was the problem. If we had replaced what they said was wrong we would of had to buy a new heat pump after they put in the new furnace. Which would have cost us even more.

HE WAS PROMPT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK. HE HAD A BUSY SCHEDULE AND HE STILL CAME OUT AFTER HOURS TO FIX MY FURNACE. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME FOR COMING OUT AFTER HOURS! I THINK ANYONE ELSE WOULD BE PLEASED TO USE HIM. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN.

MEASURED, ORDERED, AND INSTALLED ALLERGY FILTERS ON AN OLD FURNACE USING ODD SIZED FILTERS (THAT DON'T ALL HAVE TO BE REPLACED WITHIN A WEEK).
