Description of Work: John was the employee who came out. His work was simply outstanding. I knew he would be good when he immediately swept up some sawdust after he repaired a door. Jobs done: 1.repaired a sagging front door. 2.replaced an outdoor light sensor. 3. replaced a light switch. 4. took off and replaced 5 or 6 rotting trim boards. 5. painted those boards. John suggested a non wood (pvc) replacement board instead of regular wood. More expensive to buy but great idea and well worth it. Will never rot. I paid for 6 hours of work, that included John going to pick up the materials, the timing was perfect. (remember the price of materials is extra.) Great thing is that John knew exactly what to buy. |Joe confirmed the appointment, was very responsive. I absolutely will use them again, am preparing a work list.

Description of Work: I had a ceiling fan installed. He removed old baseboard in the entryway abd replaced it with new that I had.

Description of Work: John was a professional and very good worker. Using my materials, he removed several cracked tiles on the patio and patio steps, prepped the area, installed the tiles and then grouted them in. He also suggested several tips on maintenance and sealing of the grout and tile........something I could do myself after the grout was set. The six hours I paid for was filled with landscape work like spreading mulch and cutting back flowers. He also washed down gutters that had stained over the years. Pleasant and excellent manners, I would definitely hire All Around Joe's again.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for 3 hours of work. I needed my small upstairs bathroom painted. The person that responded to me was very professional but the person that came to paint was just so-so. He was on time but the paint job he did was very mediocre. I couldn't really tell how bad it was until it dried. He actually finished in an hour and a half so there was still an hour and a half left. He could've spent more time on the paint job or at least asked if there was anything else he could do. It wasn't horrible, I just know that next time I will hire a professional painter.

Description of Work: All around Joe completed everything on my honey do list! All of those little nagging things that my husband never has enough time for. They fixed my dishwasher door that wasn't closing properly, rehung a light fixture that we had taken down a year ago, put up some shelves in the garage, you name it they did it! This company is a jewel!

Description of Work: Removed a shelf and then Installed a fireplace mantel. He also looked at additional projects for me.

Description of Work: Very prompt and very polite. The work he did included installing a hall cupboard door and assembling an Ikea cabinet, fixing a kitchen table, etc. He was there on time and he worked the entire time. I would recommend this company if you need a reliable handyman

Description of Work: The repaireman fixed a hole in my drywall. He was very professional and the wall looks great.

Description of Work: Hung pictures, a mirror and a towel bar. Attached a new headboard. Put an area rug and rug pad under a bed. Fixed a doorknob and screen door. Leveled bar refrigerator and ice maker and fixed trim molding. Straightened mailbox. Puttied a few spots on walls. | |It went very well.

Description of Work: John showed up on time, was clean, polite, professional, and got to all of the small jobs I had listed: replacing faucet, installing grab bar, painting metal door, repairing door, etc. He finished on time, took pictures for an estimate on a future job as I will definately use them again!

Description of Work: All went well but I overestimated the amount of time. I would have done well to have taken the 3 hour option.

Description of Work: Removed and hauled away all old drop ceiling in basement. |Cleaned all cobwebs from ceiling and buttoned up loose wires. |Cleaned and scraped concrete walls in basement (including sealing up bad areas with dri-con waterproofing). |Primed all stains and ductwork with oil base primer. |Painted all walls and painted floor with durable concrete floor paint. |Job was done in two stages so items in basement could be moved |from end to end. |In addition to the labor, they provided all the materials. Darren did an excellent job. For an unfinished basement, it now looks fantastic. I am very pleased with the work they did.

Description of Work: Workman arrived promptly. I had a list of items that needed to be done and all were accomplished within the 3 hour time frame I contracted for. I had the workman rehang a door handle he installed because it was crooked, and he did so without question. When you hire someone in this category (handyman), be sure and have a list of things to do, the appropriate materials available, and the priority of each item. The job will go smoother, and more will be accomplished if everything is in order up front. I would hire these folks again.

Description of Work: They stripped wallpaper, repaired the walls, and painted my bathroom. They did an excellent job! Very professional, really nice people, and cleaned up well before they left.

Description of Work: He only put up a small window blind and and weather strip on the bottom of a door in 3 hours!!! This is the 2nd time that I used your services and was very very disappointed. I will let everyone that I know to save their money and don't contract with Angie's List.
