+ -1 moreJoe came when he said he would and gave an exact price quote. He took a sample of the old subfloor to make sure theat the new subfloor was the correct thickness. He showed up on time on the planned day and did exactly what he said he would do. Everything went great.
Description of Work: Joe removed some rotted subfloor in our hall bath and replaced it with new wood that was level to the rest of the subfloor. He also re-installed the toilet flange to the correct height and then installed the hardiboard with thinset under it as I requested.

I made changes to my needs and he re-quoted without a complaint. Due to personal issues I was unable to use Joe at this time. I got lucky with a family member stepping up to help me. + -1 moreJoe was quick to schedule, showed up in time and delivered a layout for the basement. His estimate for doing the remodeling was very low. We did get asecond opinion and thought that the second person had a lot more experience and knew what he was getting into with rerouting airducts, plumbing moving the electric box and so on. However we were happy with the headstart we got on the planning and are currently working on getting a sump pump, and the plumbing.
Description of Work: We used the 50$ cupon from Angie's list to get a drawing for the Basement.

+ 0 moreJoe came recommended from a friend of ours, who has used Joe for several things in the past. He gave us an estimate that was comparable to everyone else we contacted. We were on a tight schedule and he was able to fit us in at a perfect time. He cut out 3 walls to make doorways, framed them all in, painted, tiled the floors where the walls were cut out, and cleaned up beautifully. The doorways look as if they had always been there. He did all of this from start to finish in one day. Joe is a very clean, organized person, his work shows it and his company truck and trailer show it. You can tell he pays great attention to detail, which is absolutely crucial in this line of work. If you find a company that is not as organized and detailed, you might not want them doing work for you, because it will show in their work. I would absolutely recommend All Around Joe!

Description of Work: Lots of odds and ends around the house from trimming trees to patching drywall. All Around Joe fixed a crack in my basement wall that was leaking really bad and fixed all the drywall before mold set in. Also performed a full days worth of honey do list my wife had made for me. Joe came out and gave me a really good deal on everything and was able to sqeeze me into his buisy schedule, first trimmed some trees, then pressure washed my house. Then He cleaned out my gutters for free since he was already up there. Then he fixed my broken gate on my fence. He also fixed a leaking toilet. my biggest cost was the crack in the basement wall which was cool to watch him fix. Then Joe came back and cut out a section of my driveway and replaced it. He fixed my glass block window I had broke and some siding from all the storms a while ago and replaced my outside lights

He introduced himself and his assistant and told me just what they were going to do and then went ahead and finished it. I was thrilled with the result the house is a bright white again . Description of Work: I took advantage of one of Angie's special deals to have my vinyl siding cleaned for $199.99. This is really one of the best deals I've ever taken advantage of. Not only did I get a fantastic job done on my siding, I've got a handyman that I will use in the future for other jobs. Joe is really a nice person. He cleaned off my garage because he said the house wasn't as big as he had thought so he threw in the garage too. That is something you don't expect. He and his helper did a fantastic job on the house. I had had it pressure washed several years ago but the company that cleaned it had used a cleaner that left a residue and of course that collected dirt pretty fast. Joe just used water and it looks like new, even the gutters look good. He didn't have to use a ladder so none of my flowers or landscaping got stepped on. They were so careful not to damage anything in the way. I would highly recommend them. My daughter has told her neighbor what a great job they did and now she has hired him to clean her siding and paint her porch. I know she'll be very pleased with his work. I intend to have Joe back, Besides my home I also own a 4 family apartment building and as any homeowner knows there is always something that needs done. It's great to have an honest guy that takes pride in his work and is affordable. Thanks Joe and Angie for a job well done.

When I called, the gentleman was very careful to explain what the deal covered (3000 square feet) and about how much space that would be on an average sized house. He came out and looked at our house and the work that needed to be done, and cleaned only those areas of the house that needed it - all included in the 3000 foot deal. The house looks great. I was impressed by his promptness (easy to schedule, showed up a little early) and his professionalism. I would definitely recommend him.
Description of Work: We had brick and vinyl siding on our 2-story home pressure washed. He also did our porch and over-hang where it needed it.

The biggest project Joe has done for me is my basement. When I first moved into my home the one room that I wasn't satisfied with was my basement. It was cold, had some flood damage and was just a part of my home that my family never used. After contacting Joe he promptly came out to give me an estimate for my basement. I was very impressed with all his ideas for my project. I let him know what I wanted and was very satisfied with the figures he had given me. Naturally has a homeowner, I wanted to see what other companies thoughts and ideas were as well, and compare price. I can tell you that after 4 separate companies came out, I knew I wanted to go with Joe. The work Joe did was just beautiful, It felt like a new home. Not only did it add value to my home but it's now a space in my home that I use 80% of the time when I'm home. Since this project, Joe has been back for several projects that I have wanted done. There were no hidden costs and price was cheaper than 6 other companies we inquired. The job was very clean and go do in less time than estimated. Will defiantly recommend and use All Around Joe services again.
Description of Work: All Around Joe came out and finished our basement that my wife and i thought had no potential. In the process put in an egress window with an great looking window well made by hand. He also went the extra mile and put together a shed I bought thinking I could handle it but turns out I couldn't.
