Our experience with Joe was wonderful. I had designed what I wanted my basement to look like and we had a budget. Joe did a great job working within our budget and had lots of suggestions about what he thought would and wouldn't work and he brought a lot of his own ideas to the table. We stayed in constant contact and he was always professional. Joe pays very close attention to even the smallest detail and it was evident that his goal was to make sure that we were happy with every aspect of the project. Any time we had the slightest issue he took care of it...immediately. He finished the project on budget and ahead of schedule. I couldn't be happier. I recommend him without reservation.

Extremely satisfied customer! Joe was prompt in returning my call, and then came to give me quote/do the work within the week. He completed some drywall work in my living room, and also finished installing boards on a wood deck. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself, and the end result for both projects was top notch. Would definitely recommend to others.

Woke up to a leaking window in my Kitchen on 10-02-2012 and initially called a window company. They were not interested in coming out. Job to small and said based on verbal that it wasn't the window but thought it was framing around window. I then contacted Joe and he said he would be out at 7:30 am the following day. He showed up promptly and looked at the window in the kitchen as well as the window above it. While there was some pooling around the frame really could find where water was getting in on the kitchen window. He finally decided to caulk the window above as there was a bowing around the frame. Then he used hose to see if we could recreate the water coming in through my kitchen window. Worked a good 10 minutes on hitting both windows with water in every area and thankfully weren't able to recreate the water leak. I will keep an eye on the window in heavy down pours and pray that problem has resolved. I am very appreciative and thankful that Joe was able to come out quickly and seem to resolve problem. While he was here he also tightened the elbow on a bathroom faucet that had been leaking. Very personable and would highly recommend him. I will consider using him in the future for some wall repairs, lighting replacement and outside concrete patchwork that needs to be done on outside of the house.

As new homeowners, it's very comforting to have found an honest contractor upon whom we can rely completely. Joe is a courteous, professional, and talented handyman who we hope to use for years to come. I highly recommend him for jobs big and small.

Joe explained why the gutters still had to be washed by using soft scrub. He used the power washer and water to clean the gutters but the black lines have to be removed by hand. Joe was professional and he had me look at the siding to get my approval. I pointed a few things out and they went over them with the power washer.

I arrived at my house that was having the service (exterior pressure washing) two hours after the appointment time assuming they may still be working, they must work fast and that's fine. The area around the house was still wet so I must have just missed them and maybe that would have made a difference because they must have just wet down some of the house and not washed it. As an example the front door still had a wasp nest hanging in the upper right corner. At the rear of the house is a patio with about a third under cover. The overhead area which is wood there were several wasp nests and mud dauber tubes still there along with cobwebs, how could you pressure wash and have these things still there. I met with the painter contracted to paint the house a day after the pressure washing was done and he said the wash job was so poor he would rewash before painting.

After a very wet spring, the siding part of our 2-story had a lot of green algie/mold. It wasn't Joe that came out, but one of his staff. He was very thorough and washed all that was promised on the coupon. The fellow took the time to explain the outcome to my husband--most of the house looked great but there were a few areas around the gutters which had faint, dark stains that he explained were not removable by pressure washing or even by wiping ( which he proved to my husband, to his satisfaction). Overall, the house looked very good. While he was there my husband asked about deck repair versus replacement. The fellow gave my husband some great ideas to avoid replacement and said to contact them if he wanted them to do the bid, which we intend to do. We haven't had great luck with a couple of the Angies list special offers, but decided to try one last time. This vendor was great--overall a very good experience!

Everything went very well with my service from start to finish. I will definitely use All Around Joe again.

This appointment was very easy to schedule, and they were very flexible as I believe I had to reschedule at least once. They were on-time, performed the work quickly, did a great job, and I was very happy with the results.

We originally contracted Joe to replace several doors in our home,but before he got to them a windstorm knocked over a tree in our yard and crashed into the shed. We had him bid on the repair job and his price was very fair for that job also. He completed both jobs for us and they turned out beautifully. He also did several small jobs at our home that we had not contracted, and we were very pleased. He was very fair and professional, and we would happily use him again and reommend to anyone.

Joe was very professional, knowledgeable, outgoing and very fair priced. I would highly recommend and use his services again. Initially I called a couple companies from Angies list. The first company wanted to charge an assesment fee of $79 and then another $89 to fix the problem. I didn't feel that re-securing a screen door warranted such an expensive assesment and troubleshooting this minor problem over the the phone could have been sufficient enough to give insight as to what tools would be needed.I did not have this company come out obviously and decided to try Joe Wood from All Around Joe. I called Joe today and he was kind enough to come over an hour later. He described the problem to me and offered a couple honest solutions. Apparently, whoever originally installed the door did not use the right size door to fit in the frame, so they rigged it to fit and did not do the best job. The best solution would have been for me to buy a door that fit and the other option would be to work with what we had a permanently secure it. Joe seemed knowledgeable and I had confidence in him, so I asked him if he could just work with the door that was already there instead of buying a new one. Joe didn't let me down and he did an excellent job with what he had to work with. Thank you Joe for your great work!

Jason and Darren from All Around Joe just left after pressure washing my aluminum siding, awnings and gutters. My house looks brighter than I could have imagined! The guys were prompt and great to deal with. I love that they were able to remove years of grime and algae with water. There was no damage to my shrubs or worry about chemical residue. This was well worth the investment! I was able to communicate with Joe via e-mail and although I enjoyed watching this process it wasn't necessary for me to miss work.

Detailed estimates were provided in advance in writing. They show up when they say they are going to. Everything went well, they clean up after themselves as they go and do everything well. I consider Joe Wood the Mike Holmes (cf. HGTV) of Cincinnati contractors. (I hesitated before writing that because I suspect he will get so busy I will have to wait, if I have another job for him to do.)

Joe takes care of my mother's house & coordinates repairs with me from afar (AZ to OH). Both my mother & I regularly provide him with lists of things that need fixing & he schedules time to get them done. I trust him implicitly - to do an excellent job, to charge us fairly, to watch out for safety issues in her house. He does the work in such a way as to hold down costs for my mother, yet insure her comfort and safety. I visited my mother's house this month & was able to see the quality of the recent work. Everything was outstanding! Joe is a perfectionist with even the smallest jobs. We couldn't be more pleased with him - we highly recommend him! Joe is very fair in his pricing. Only about half of these charges was for labor. The rest was materials cost, as Joe picks up whatever we need for the job.

Was going to be late but called to notify.

The gentlemen went out of his way to do the job. He fixed it well and I haven’t had any issues.

Our overall experience was very favorable. Joe was very responsive and contacted me the day after I left a message. He reviewed the detailed specs that I was able to email him and replied quickly with a quote and availability. Due to his other commitments, he offered for one of his other guys to come out with a helper (2 man job) in order to be able to complete the job quickly. Jason and Jordan arrived very promptly at 8am on the scheduled morning and were very well prepared and professional. They worked hard all day and I barely saw them take a break despite the hot, sunny weather! Extremely friendly and even entertained my dog while she inpected their work! The assembly was top-notch and the playset was secured for extra stability. My 3 year old daughter was beyond thrilled when she arrived home from preschool that day! Joe followed up with me the evening thjat the work was completed to make sure that I was satisfied. I would highly recommend All Around Joe!

He was really nice, and we liked him. His prices were reasonable. We were looking for more of a contractor. He’s a real experienced handy man. I think he has contracting experience, but he does not have sub-contractors. We wanted to hire one person who could hire other people they already knew, and trusted. I actually already referred him to a friend of mine who needed a small project to be done at her house. I really did like him he just wasn’t quite right for this project. He did get the estimate back to us really quickly.

Joe gave me an estimate last week to tile a small bathroom. I told him I wanted to learn how to do things on my own but had no knowledge. He offered to let me watch and learn, so we set the work date for today. He called an hour ahead to say they could start earlier so that was a plus. They got started quickly and the tile was finished easily. During installation and while we waited for the tile to set, they showed me how to measure the room and cut tiles so the layout is balanced. They explained what tools and materials they used and what kinds of tasks they are good for. I will absolutely call Joe again and recommend him to others. In addition to excellent work, they are friendly, polite and extremely clean. Once the tile was ready, they set the toilet in place, and left the grouting to me. I am excited to get started! Showed up promptly with all equipment and went to work ASAP. No problems at all.

Joe was very professional and conducted all work as promised for the agreed-upon price. In fact, he even completed some additional work around the house at no additional charge. He had a professional demeanor and was very courteous. Although we only had some minor repairs, the quality of his work was excellent. Joe will definitely be my first call next time we require work on our home.

I am pleased with the quality of workmanship for all three tasks. I would use them again as they are nice guys doing solid work at a reasonable price.

We had a leak in our family room and noticed that there were a couple of shingles missing on our roof by the chimney. Joe came out and placed shingles and did some caulking. The drain pipes to our yard are blocked and we had previously placed drain pipes above ground on that side of the house, but we asked Joe to do the same on the other side of the house. I am happy to say that after two good rains there is no water in our family room! We also hired All Around Joe to powerwash and stain our 8' x 150' privacy fence. His associate came out one day and cleared all the vegetation that had grown on the fence and power washed it, and did an excellent job. Two days later he came back to stain the fence and it looks awesome. He used a high quality solid stain and we picked the color. I was not here so I am sorry that I cannot tell you his associate's name. We are very happy with the work and plan on hiring them again soon to clean and paint our utility sheds.
