All Around Joe LLC

I have found my handyman!!!! Joe was professional, helpful, fair, honest, straightforward, and highly skilled. All correspondence was done in a prompt manner. Joe provided a reasonable and detailed estimate. He worked to fit me in to get the work done quickly. He arrived on time. He performed the work. He was upfront about the poor condition of a remodel that had been recently completed and he worked within my budget to fix it such that further damage was not likely to occur. He also reduced the cost of this repair because he could not in good faith do the originally discussed work because of the poor quality and workmanship that had been done previously. The work that he did complete, in comparison, was great. I couldn't be more pleased and only wish that I had Joe do the original bathroom remodel. I have a list of additional work I need to have done and Joe will be my go to guy!

Called Joe, he was to be in the area the following day. He came on time, got to work, and finished the job to my satisfaction.

Everything went very well. The workers did their job efficiently and quickly. They were friendly and although I was alone in the house I was not uncomfortable at all having them in the house.

The tenants were delighted with the quality of the work and I was thrilled with his responsiveness. He would respond to emails and meet his promises. Probably the best all around guy I have used. Thanks Joe.

Joe promptly returned my voice message. He asked me to email him a list of the work I needed done. Joe gave me a reasonable estimate for completing the jobs on the list. He arrived on time and completeted the job. He even spent extra time without charging me to finish all the items on the list. Joe is very skilled and knowledgeable and it is obvious he takes pride in his work. I will definitely call him in the future.

Beginning to end it was a great experience working with Joe and his crew. Would definitely use them again.

Joe and his team were great to work with. They inspected the misc. odd jobs to be done and completed them quickly.

Joe was very professional through and through. He gave me a fair estimate and did the work in a very timely fashion (all and all maybe 10 days between estimate and job completion).

Joe responded quickly and was professional and friendly when working up a quote.He was willing to custom-make a bar using glass inserts that I already had. I was to provide cabinets, countertop and appliances for the kitchen. Another contractor noticed thngs that needed to be addressed, like moving electric/plumbing and patching cracks in the concrete floor. I decided to go with the contractor based on the price comparison and what I believed was included in the scope of work to be done. When I told Joe, he was still very polite and solicited feedback on the reason for my decision. It turns out he had included some of the missing things in his estimate, but had not indicated them on his quote. That could have made a difference in my decision! I would definitely call Joe for another project, but would have him provide a more detailed estimate. I would not hesitate to refer him to my friends.

Joe explained things well and gave a reasonable estimate. The work was done well despite the freezing temperatures. I would hire him again if needed.

The company showed up while I was at work and cleaned the deck. When I arrive home that evening the deck look great, they did a very nice job.

I promptly got a call from Joe to schedule to pressure washing. It was several weeks out (due to the large mount of Angie's List Bug Deals) before the work could be done (which was fine). The worker was at our home for 2-3 hours and did decent job. He was very professional and friendly and gave me several pointers on other items to repair at my home. Joe (the owner) even came out and quoted several items and used his truck to help get clean the higher areas on the home. When I was ready to get my home painted 2 weeks later, I realized the pressure washing job was not as good as intially thought and I had to pay to get some of it re-done. I am not blaming All Around Joe as I think you get what you pay for and for only $199 it was a alright job. I do not recommend signing up for Angie's List Big Deals on important projects around your home. I believe if I paid the normal $400 rate All Around Joe would have done a satisfactory job and spent the time to get it done 100% right.

Workers arrived on time. The job was reviewed with the home owner and options discussed and agreed upon before work started. The end result was that the lights and switch boxes were mounted where agreed upon and worked as intended Cosmetically the work was acceptable, although a couple of the holes cut into the ceiling for the remodel lights were a little rough and the finish trim rings (applied much later when the entire room was dry walled and painted) did not totally cover the hole cut for the flood can installation.

Good guy ... would use again.

There were no problems, power washing a limited area was very simple, arrived on time and left everything in great condition.

I purchased Angies Big Deal to have the trim on a brick 2 story house pressure washed so I could paint it. The area involved was less than the square footage mentioned in the Big Deal. The worker arrived without a ladder so he could not do the job. He left and returned about an hour later with a ladder to start the pressure washing. Before he started, he said it would cost quite a bit more than the Deal I had already paid for. I did not agree to accept the additional cost because the area needing cleaned was well within the amount mentioned in the Deal. He called his boss and the boss came out and said he would return my money instead of doing the job. I said ok and that was the end of that. He did mail and return the entire amount. It is not good to work with someone who cannot make an agreement and keep it. They wasted most of their morning with all this back and forth.

Awesome job ! Joe and his crew do a great job and don't over charge. I had ants coming in my window trim. Upon taking a piece off for the exterminated to treat the area, I noticed the wood under the 3 year old window was wet and rotted. After the exterminator treated for ants, I joined Angie's List and started looking for a window company to repair it.The previous home owner had installed some windows, and I couldn't find out the brand. WIndow companies will repair their own, but wouldn't help me unless I wanted a new window. I started contacting handymen, and all were giving me a 2 -4 week time frame. Joe went the extra mile to work me in. He could tell that having the water coming in the widow and wet wood was troubling me. I also didn't want to see further damage. He finished a previous job early and called so he could come out asap. He also new I needed my built in frig moved (the previous owner installed tile too high) so it could be repaired. I was ready to have to get tile removed then have him back out to replace it. Joe and his associates moved the built-in frig and it was repaired. Joe also does basement remodels and basement door cutoutsso I will be looking into those next year. All Around Joe did a great job for a great price. Put him on your definitely list.

Requested proposal for bathroom remodel, labor only. He showed up right when he said he would. We discussed the work I wanted done and he took his measurements. He sain he would get a proposal to me within a week and I had the proposal within the promised time. I did not give himthe business as I decided to go a slightly differant route with the remodel. His proposal was reasonable for the work I asked to be quoted for. He was very professional and I would work with him in the future if the need arises.

When I first contacted Joe I had been swindled by another contractor. I was a mess! I called him on a Friday about noon and told him my story. He came out in person (the owner of the company). Joe was like an ANGEL to me!!!! This may sound far fetch but..... I had to be out of my apartment in 7days. The only reason I bought this house was be close to my very disabled son that lived in a home nearby. Joe understood this! He pushed other jobs back and brought other resources in to get me in my home. I also needed a lot of work done that was not as urgent. He put it on his schedule. He came back and put my beautiful fence in so my disabled son would be safe! He also got my son’s fort/playhouse in so my son could enjoy it this summer. Austin loves it!!! Joe is an excellent communicator. There are always things that come up that are not expected. He always got in touch with me when issues came up. He always said to me "WHAT DO YOU WANT"! This is so rare these days!!!!!!! He prepped my kitchen for another company to put in cabinets and ceramic tile. By the way because Joe spoiled me, working with other companies was very painful. My ceramic tile put in by a big box store s is still not fixed 2 weeks later. Also, working with another store for my cabinets and appliances was so painful, compared to Joe. Joe and his company did it all for me!!! They would also bring things to my attention that needed repair that I would have never even thought of ( i.e. a water leak on the man line coming into my home) because this is my 7th home I have had and all of the other homes have been 2 years or less so this was all new to me! I feel like I am settling in a brand new home because of Joe Wood and his team. They all gave 110%. Because of what happened to me with a previous contractor and also the larger companies I will only do business with Joe no matter how long I have to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great. Joe came to do the job when I was at work and when I got home it was all done and looked great!

The job was done professionally. Follow up visit to do some areas that did not turn out well - no issues with coming back.

We had originally hired another contractor to do this work and he came unprepared and then raised his rates after the original quote. We found Joe on Angie's List (along with 2 other handymen) and he was first to respond and the lowest bid. His schedule was quite full but we really wanted the work done before Thanksgiving and he managed to squeeze us in! He arrived on time, was very courteous and replaced both the chandelier and fan in under 2 hours. We will definitely call him again for future projects! Thanks, Joe!!!

Service rep arrived on time, was courteous and professional. The drive and walkway turned out very nicely. I was pleased with his positive attitude and concern for my satisfaction.

The guys were late. I ended up calling them to make sure they were still on their way. We are used to this with contractors. This is one of the reasons we are members of Angie's List. Their work was fine and they were professional. They showed up with four guys. They split the entire day across 4 guys which brought it down to 2 hours. It helped but it was a bit overwhelming keeping four guys busy for 2 hours. They helped my husband buiid the walls for the shed on a very hot summer day.
