All Around Joe LLC

I was off work that week and purchased this Big Deal at the last minute. I was happy that the company was able to squeeze me in that week on such short notice. Since most of the work was outside, we'd decided that the service tech could arrive around 8:15, he arrived about 10 minutes early and I wasn't quite ready. I had an appointment to get to at 9:00, so we walked around the outside of the house to discuss the work that needed to be done. By the time I got back, most of the outside items were completed. Everything went great and I would use this organization again.

Everything went well. First appointment was rained out, but the company stayed in touch to reset the appointment. The work was completed in a very professional manner with no glitches. We were very happy with the service and the workmanship. We have used them before and would use them again. Their service has always gone smoothly.

The work was done over a few days, just because of the amount that needed to be achieved. I had never used AAJ before, but found them on Angie's List. On the day they were scheduled, Brandon was here on time, the leader of the team. Jon and Darren made up the rest of the team. They repaired a variety of things, including doors not closing properly, small holes in drywall and painting, high-pressure washing, along with some other items from the Home Inspection. It was pretty obvious from the start that this team of people cared about what they were doing. When I questioned something, they were very open to questions and/or suggestions. We had established a list of things for the team to do, but I also found some more that needed to be achieved. Joe, who owns the company, came by to check and see how things were going. He stayed a good while, did a few things himself and we discussed the painting of all woodwork on the outside of the house, along with the gutters and downspouts. Based on the quality of the work performed on a variety of things from spreading out insulation in the attic to the repair of a crack between the sidewalk and the front porch, we decided to go with AAJ for the outside painting that had not been discussed in the original work request. Jon was assigned as the primary person for the painting...he was scheduled to start Saturday with prep, etc. It poured rain, so that day was lost. Joe called to confirm that we understood he would not be there that day. We discussed when he could get started, and he said Jon would be there Sunday morning between 9:00 and 9:30. We put the paint out, as we would be at church during that time frame. When we arrived home, Jon was there and working as scheduled. He got a good deal of it achieved on Sunday. He let me know that Darren would be helping on Monday, so they could get it finished. On Monday, both of them were here on time and finished up the painting. Joe came by again to see how things were going and did a small amount of painting himself. The quality of the work was exactly what you would hope for when you are in need of a variety of things to be fixed, updated or improved. They did a great job, were dependable and easy to talk with as well. I liked the fact that when they were leaving they would ask us to walk around and make sure that everything met our needs/standards. I would recommend AAJ, if you have a variety of projects that need professional support. If they cannot do it, they will say that isn't in their area of expertise. Based on our experience, Joe and the AAJ team are trustworthy, dependable and reasonably priced for the work performed.

Wind sheer, rain and water damage in the attic caused one of the two florescent light fixtures in my 1940's kitchen to short out. Joe replaced one of the light fixtures earlier this year . With ice melted from the roof and the insurance claim complete. The shorted fixture was replaced today. Brandon arrived promptly and started to set up- Joe shortly after. The job was finished in several hours and my kitchen is back to normal. I couldn't be happier with "All Around Joe" and his work. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a contractor or handyman. (I've already started planning the next job for them!)

Brandon showed up on time. He put in my countertop and hung my shelves. He cleaned up his mess and was very friendly and helpful. I will use All Around Joe again.

The mailbox and arm were damaged and basically needed to be completely redone. He was able to come out on short notice and appeared right on time. Quality of work was excellent. Could not have been done better. I would recommend this company to anyone needing this work done.

We didn't use up all the time we purchased, but just getting the work done was great. Would recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Excellent company - Joe and the 2 men that were to do the work showed at promptly at 8 am as promised. The 2 men worked all day to 4:30 pm - - removed all of the siding on that side of the house (>600 SF), put on new Tyvek wrap and then installed the new siding. Hauled away the old siding and cleaned up all the bits & pieces - leaving a completely clean yard. Also were very personable workers. I'd absolutely hire them again.

It went very well. Someone came ahead of time to check out any possible problems. Actual installation was efficient and professional. We would use All Around Joe again for a home improvement project. Very satisfied!

Joe was extremely responsive to my inquiry, came out a day later and fixed it. He was a very nice guy who quickly identified the issue and addressed it. I was very pleased with him, and I will look at using him again for remodeling the basement and other handy man needs.

Joe was prompt to do the initial inspection of the four jobs I required. One job required replacing a roof to a shed. Another was removing black mold developed from a leaky pipe onto a drop down ceiling in my basement and replaced a three foot section of that pipe. The third job involved removing a water damaged corner post from my sunroom and replacing it with a new wood one. The fourth job was to smooth out/level a portion of my kitchen ceiling that had, prior to my moving in, had water damage and was bowed downwards slightly. The ceiling plaster thus was cracking and dropping plaster onto the floor, spreading slowly outwards bigger and bigger. Joe and his two helpers did the three jobs in just under two full days. He was on time each day, and now two years later, the jobs are still all holding up without any defects. Joe deserves many accolades for a job well done! I heartily recommend his professionalism and talent.

All Around Joe bid the project lower than the other 2 that bidders. He and his assistant showed up on time and completed all the work as requested. He did have to come back for some cracking but did so without hesitation and did not charge for the re-work. We will absolutely use All Around Joe again.

Michael was fantastic! He came in went to work and didn't stop. He was a hard worker that wanted to give his best service and he cleaned up before he left. Nice job!

We contacted Joe late in November about our projects: replacing folding doors on hall and bedroom closets that were off track. We also asked him to install faucets in both bathrooms and to determine whether the shower faucet needed replacing. Joe responded promptly and came to the house to determine costs. He provided an estimate within five days and, with the holidays and our being out of town, we scheduled for after the first of the year. The original February project date had to be pushed back due to a problem with one of his suppliers. Joe called to explain the situation and to apologize for the delay. He came back out to measure the closet space and took one of the doors with him to match up paint color. Joe and his assistant Brandon arrived on schedule. While installing the faucet in our bathroom, they discovered corrosion on one of the pipes that caused leaking., and two bad valves. Joe went out to replace them and work proceeded. After they finished, my husband found that water was leaking in our laundry room which is above our bathroom. Joe and Brandon ran a snake through the shower drain and found massive amounts of hair (of course!), and cleaned it out--they did this after they were loading their truck and about to leave. We are very impressed with their professionalism, their attention to details in all they do, and the time they took to explain what they were doing and why.

Joe and his team were very professional from the moment we requested the quote for the project until the project was completed. Joe offered suggestions to make our decisions easier and answered any questions during the process. The project was started and completed as schedule despite many days of difficult weather. They were very careful taking in consideration one member of our family was sleeping during the day due to working 3rd shift. Overall, we are very satisfied with the finished project and enjoying our new place. Joe was able to work with us and keeping us in budget. We 100% recommends Joe for any work around the house. We definitely will contact him for additional projects.

We had a number of chores for him to do that he either couldn't or wasn't capable to do.

Once again, Joe has come to the rescue for my mom. She has caregivers in and out of her house all the time & she had been experiencing some theft. We wanted to move right away once we confirmed it was occurring & Joe was able to schedule some time very quickly. He installed one real security camera with a remote monitor, as well as six dummy cameras throughout the house. He also installed a hasp and padlock on her french doors to her study, giving her one room that is inaccessible to visitors. Since her outside lights were malfunctioning, Joe also rewired & reset the automatic timer. He is always so responsive, knowing that my mom cannot do much for herself. We highly recommend him!

It went fine. All communication, including the estimate, was via e-mail. I provided a digital photo to Joe, and he was able to provide me with an estimate without taking a look at it in person - that worked out well. The original appointment had to be rescheduled due to bad weather - but communication was good and there was no problem. He showed up on time on the scheduled date. I was impressed with how quickly the work was completed. The repair turned out great - as far as I can tell, the wall looks good as new. Thanks!

Joe's guys were on time and did a very nice job. They used some very unique and impressive tools to scrub the siding using rotary brushes connected to a pressure washing head. The siding on the north and east faces of the house had mildew which they were able to clean very effectively I would definitely use Joe to do this work again. BTW, Joe has performed other maintenance services at the house such as re-caulking windows. He did a great job there. Joe really is a master of many home maintenance trades. I expect to use Joe in the future.

Joe helped with the rehab of an investment property we purchased. He returned my initial phone call promptly and arrived early for our first meeting. We discussed the scope of work and Joe gave us some suggestions in finishing off a basement area. He was prompt in furnishing us with a quote and proper proof of insurance I asked him for some references which he furnished and one couple actually invited us over to show us his work. Throughout the project Joe and his crew showed up on time and worked in a professional manner. Because the job started a week after projected Joe would put in extra hours as well as some of his crew. We added additional work as time went on and Joe was most accommodating. I would certainly use Joe again both in my own home and in future remodels.

It went great. All of the framing was level, plumb, flush, and connected well. Great work ethic.

Joe was great, we met with him on a Saturday and received a very competitive quote by Sunday evening. He started the work on the day he said he would and was finished on the day he said he would be done. During this process Joe kept me updated on everything that was happening and since I live 1 hour away and was not able to see the progress I had to put my trust in him. I have had issues with people I have hired in the past so it was not easy to do this. Joe surpassed our expectations. He was always available when I needed to speak to him and never once did I have to wait for him to call me back. I feel he went above and beyond the quote he gave us and considering the building he was working in is 110 years old, he was great at problem solving and always let me know beforehand if there was an issue and what he thought was the best way to fix it. I will definitely us Joe again and would highly recommend him to others. Our kitchen and flooring turned out great.

Many odd jobs but also put lattice board all around the hot tub which turned out fantastic. He is wonderful and is very professional. Would use again.
