The workmen were very well experienced and knew what they were doing. Very professional and cleaned up very well after the job was done!

Brandon arrived as scheduled and got right to work. Although the foyer light was high, and a bit tricky he remained calm and positive until it was installed to his satisfaction. (and mine!) The other lights went well, with the exception of two bathroom lights that had not been installed correctly when the house was built. Brandon was very patient, and remained determined to correct the problem before installing the new lighting. Everything went smoothly, and I appreciate the fact that Brandon was VERY personable, and had a great attitude. You often don't know who to call to do handyman jobs around the house, but we were very pleased with "All Around Joe". I also spoke with the owner, Joe, who called to confirm the appointment. He, too, was very personable and it was evident that he wanted to please his customers. We were very happy with this company, and with Brandon. I would not hesitate to call them again. Excellent. He showed up on time, worked hard. Was professional and courteous. Explained to me any risks there might be in fixing certain things a certain way. Got my entire "honey do" list completed, couldn't be happier! Will definitely use again when needed

Personable provider. Things probably would have gone better if I had initially outlined in more detail specific tasks I wanted done and sought his opinion as to his suitability to complete them.

We called Joe after we discovered a leaking toilet. Joe's co-worker Brandon came out checked out the situation and he attempted to repair the leak but the bolts were so corroded that we had to replace the toilet. We ordered the replacement; Brandon picked it up at the supplier and did the installation. He also went back to get a longer water hose. He did the work in less than two hours, took away the packing boxes and the old toilet. Another thing: Brandon called us from the supplier's to say that they had mislabeled the order and that he would be a few minutes late while the order was straightened out. Great job, as always.

Very happy with the service and with the individual worker. He had all the right tools for the job. I will use their service again in the near future. Price was great, Would highly recommend them to anyone with unfinished work.

We purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for three hours of handyman service for $149 from this company. We had a couple major home renovations going on and were trying to vet contractors by purchasing a these deals from a few different providers. I got a quick response from All Around Joe through Angie's List, presumably from the owner, and we were scheduled at the day and time we requested. Very accommodating. The service tech, Brandon arrived on time and was polite and professional. We had three hours of time and gave him a list of three smaller projects that needed to be done: hanging a door, attaching a bandboard to a staircase in prep for a railing and stripping/sanding a section of concrete wall in the basement so it could be painted later. We asked him which of those things could be completed in the time allowed and he said the wall would be most realistic. We provided a drill bit to strip the wall and Brandon attached it to his own drill. He went to work on the wall for the entire three hours and when we went downstairs after he was done there was a thick layer of dust covering every inch of the basement. Walls, carpet, clothes in the laundry, toys, everything. To be honest, I'm not sure if or how this would have been preventable with the work he was doing, but it took a lot of time and effort to clean up. Nonetheless, we still needed a contractor for other bigger projects and All Around Joe has so many good reviews that we asked Brandon to take some measurements of our kitchen for an estimate on cabinet installation. Apparently he never gave them to the owner, but when I followed up to ask for the estimate I got a quick response and an apology that the measurements hadn't been submitted. We tried to schedule some additional work but they were booked until about a month out. Overall, they were responsive and professional, but the quality of work on this particular project was pretty bad. It would have been easier if we'd just done it ourselves, factoring in the amount of effort it took to clean up the mess.

Work was done in a professional manner, job foreman Brandon and Joe kept me informed of scope changes and scheduling. I was impressed by their 'can do' attitude. They were very busy with other jobs, I waited weeks for an estimate, but the work was scheduled and started quickly and worth the wait.

Joe was able to send someone to my house to look at the job the very day I called and he got the estimate to me within a couple of hours after they left. I accepted the bid and the work was scheduled for the following week. Two men came to do the work. They did a good job and they were very pleasant.

I tried to hire him via phone message and e-mail and I didn't even get a response. I know he said he was backed up and that he had a family emergency occur that pushed out my survey and quote, but no response at all after I tried to hire him ( and I only still tried to hire him because of how you rated him ) ? I wonder if he's still in business ?

I contacted Joe because I needed a hole dug for some plumbing I was having done. Long story, so I won't get into it. Bottom line, Joe was able to set up a guy to come do the work within the short window that I needed it at a reasonable price. Fortunately my sons found the time to do the work so I didn't need his services. I will definitely call Joe again if needed.

This was a great experience. They contacted me right away, came out within a day or two and were more than happy to fix whatever I had. I love this company!

He is a handyman. Overall, I will grade him as excellent. He did an excellent job.

Joe did complete restoration of our water damaged basement, following a frozen pipe that burst in February 2014. We had been through several (undependable and in some cases dishonest) contractors by the time we found All Around Joe and we were at the end of our rope. Joe stepped in and gave us a comprehensive estimate. He made cogent suggestions as to how to create a better outcome. He stayed in touch through every step of the process; if I didn't call him at an arranged time, HE called ME. He completed the demolition phase, performed mold abatement, replaced the damaged walls with drywall and greenboard, then painted everything. He did all the work professionally and cooperated with other installers who were respponsible for other parts of the process. He even hauled away trash left by the flooring installers. In the end, he came in right at his estimate - no cost overruns or extra charges.. I would recommend Joe for any home improvement project.

The work was done in a very timely fashion. He had to order a part and he came back to install. He was very efficient and it is still working 1 year later.

It went well. I wanted to continuous rail and indicated that in the contract with detailed pictures of the area, but when he came, he indicated he could not make it continuous. He worked out an acceptable alternative.

If I could give All Around Joe an A++, I would - one of the best service providers I've ever used..... I purchased the special - 6 hours for $269. Money WELL spent!! Brandon did a fabulous job, was extremely polite, and very fast - as well as being quite patient with me as I changed my mind about what I wanted done during his time there. At one point when I was picking up a part, he called me to find out what was "next" on the list so he could stay busy and use "my" time well. Joe also came out at another point to look at an unexpected issue with the shower- and fixed it in no time. These guys really care about their work. They are trustworthy, fast, professional, personable, and can do anything! I really can't say enough good things about All Around Joe. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Brandon and Joe! I'm working on my next list for you guys.... :)

I was completely satisfied with the service provided and with Brandon's own personal contribution. i.e: He needed to go get a part, which he did very quickly and was able to resume working right away. I know nothing about electrical work, but I know that these fixes were not very time consuming, probably allowing for a greater number of things on my list to be accomplished. in a fairly short time: four hours. One fixture had the socket replaced and a frayed wire fixed, for example. Just for the record, the only reason I gave a "B" for responsiveness was that I had called to see if they wanted to move the service date up, when my schedule opened up, and they didn't call me back for that. I just assumed, rightly so, that they are very busy (good for them!) and that they didn't have an earlier slot. I'm just the type who wants to have everything under control, so a call back would have been nice. Don't care, I loved their work, cleanliness etc and will generally think of them now, as "our handyman".

.He was real good and was very personable. He knew a lot of information. He did not have is quote by the date he said. The quoting process went fine, but I am not sure if the job would have gone smoothly.

I thought they were reasonable as far as price. Knowledgable and prompt.
