It went fine. I got him off of Angie's List. The cost also included the new toilet. They came on time to the job. They were professional and friendly.

You get a fair estimate and he sticks to it. He shows up when he is suppose to.

The whole experience working with Alan was great. I left him a message on his voice mail and he called me back with a couple hours to schedule the work. He was able to come during the time I requested and said that he would call when he was on his way to our home. He did as promised and let me know when he was headed our way. I felt really bad for him when he called a little while later to say that his van had broken down en route. However, he told us that he had called someone to come and pick him up and drive him to our house to complete our repair work! He ended up only being a little bit later than he had originally promised! He made the repairs quickly and professionally and even though we hadn't mentioned Angie's List, he saw the latest monthly edition on our kitchen counter and still gave us the 10% member discount! When we need a plumber in the future, he's the only one we'll call!

I was extremely happy with both the timing and the quality of the work. They would absolutely be my first call for any future plumbing work.

Each of my phone calls to Alan's Plumbing had a response time of four to six hours. An estimate was provided over the phone and was based on the type of water heater I needed. Alan's Plumbing arrived with two men (Alan and an assistant) in the afternoon and within one half hour of the designated time. Work was handled in a professional manner with care to keep the surrounding area neat. Water and gas fittings were tested for leaks. The system was tested prior to completion. The old water heater was removed. Any other debris created by the installation was cleaned up and removed. The whole process was completed in a professional and responsible manner.

On time, job finished quickly and without problems.

Went very well. They were on time, courteous, professional, reasonable and they fixed the problem.

I called in the morning about a broken toilet and Alan came out that evening. He had the toilet fixed within a half hour and I had him fix the leaky faucet and other 2 toilets. He was extremely fast and fair.

Alan returned my call within the hour and was at the house at the time he thought he would be available...all the same day...a Sunday.

We called in the morning, they were there by noon, very professional, excellent quality of work and a very good price. Highly recommended and they will be our first choice in the future.

I left a message on Alan's phone and got a call back quickly. He was able to schedule a visit to help determine why our water pipes were making a lot of noise when the washer was running and when we turned on the water in our laundry room. He measured the water pressure at our faucet and found that it exceeded 100. We needed a new regulator. I also showed him an outdoor faucet that was shooting water in all directions when turned on. He said he could try to get a washer to fix it, but that it was an inexpensive model and would probably need to be replaced. He showed me the washer to demonstrate the poor condition it was in. It looked okay to me, but I did not ask him for a more detailed explanation. He offered to complete the repair that day, but I requested an appointment the following week. He said he would come in the morning. He came closer to noon which made me sit around waiting. I was billed for 3/4 hour for two men at $67.50 each per hour and $100 total for materials.

We've used this company twice and they are very professional.

They were courteous, professional, and got the job done. They were very accommodating.

Alan called me on his cell to set up an appt., and it happened to be that he was just a block away and ended up stopping by to fix my problem before going to his next appt. He ended up taking 2 hours of time but got my issue fixed! He only charged me for 1 hours time as he had to go out and buy a part.

Responded next day, as both old valves were leaking. Installed new valves. No mess left, no clean up required by customer. Answered questions and made recommendations on two other customer concerns. Overall it went smooth.

I contacted Alan's plumbing about replacing the faucet in my shower. I have a very old home and was not able to remove the old faucet to install the new one I had purchased. They came within a day and cut the pipes from the access panel, soldered new and replaced the faucet. It took two men a little over an hour. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again.

Alan is great! He responds to my calls promptly, he completes the job very quickly, he is very nice, he is neat (no mess left behind), and everything he fixed works perfectly. I think his charges are reasonable, too.

Alan did a good job. He fixed the leaks in a matter of 15-20 minutes. The larger job on the sump took longer, but the workmanship was professional in appearance and function. Alan even suggested that I purchase the back-up sump pump system to save a little money.

He arrived on time after returning my call a day later. I set up an appointment for a week later (September 1st) to fix a pipe. This job was $125 repair. I paid him $50 to come out for the initial service call (during which no work was done). I still haven't heard from him as of September 26.

Alan gets right to work and explains what he is doing & why. Also answers any questions respectfully. Work ethic is very good. No mess.

It was a most satisfying experience. Alan went out of his way to exchange a faucet I purchased, which was missing necessary parts for one which had all parts. He had to drive to Mason from Milford to do this. I now have a plumber that I will call for ANY future needs.

After contacting a few plumbers, Alan was one of the few that responded right away. Unlike other companies, Alan told me what could be wrong with the heater and offered an estimate by phone. His price was at least $100 hundred cheaper that the other well-rated companies (Patterson Plumbing: $595, Tarvin Plumbing Co Inc: $650, and Zin's Plumbing: I couldn't get a number from them by phone). Although, it was not an emergency, Alan scheduled an appointment in less than two days, with a specific time (unlike many others that offered me an ''anytime between 1pm and 4pm'' kind of appointment). He showed up on time and did the job very quickly and clean. Just two small dirt spots remained in the carpet after he was done and he even offered a suggestion on what would be the best way to clean them. He needed to replace an extra valve not originally included in the estimate and he just charged me an extra $15 for the part without charging more for labor.

Alan was prompt, courteous, swift, & true. Also honest & reasonable in pricing.
