Superior Blacktop Maintenance Company

My mother and I purchased a new house in early July. She had called Superior to make an appointment to get a quote to us and went a head and booked an appointment to have my driveway black topped. They said the soonest they could get me in to do the actual work would be Sept 9 which was about a month and a half away. We were hoping they would get me in before I moved, but went a long with it. They came out for the quote fairly quickly and my mom discussed with them the pros and cons of completely re-doing my driveway versus just sealing it. Everything seemed to be going ok. September 9th came and they were a no show. They didn't even call. I had to call them. What's worse is they flaked on their appointment with my mom too (who has been waiting since March to have them come fix her driveway from the terrible job they did last year). They of course didn't call her either. So when I finally got a hold of them which was the following Monday because there was excuse after excuse as to why their scheduler wasn't there to speak with me when they kept saying she would be, I was apologized to that no one called and said it was needing reschedule because of rain. I said here in Dayton, we didn't have rain. I don't know about where you are (Middletown), but we didn't. She sounded surprised at this. Then she said let me get with Barry to check on the schedule and I'll get back to you. So she called back a day or 2 later and said that they had a big project they were hoping to get done that weekend and they were hoping to squeeze myself and my mother in on 9/22. I agreed and went about my business. When 9/22 came around I got a call from them saying due to inclement weather they would have to cancel. I said there is no rain around here. She said we've been watching the weather and there's rain in the area. I was thinking where, Kansas?! So she said Sandra would have to call me back to re-schedule. A few days later I spoke to Sandra because she wasn't available due to an emergency and said they wanted to put me on a 24 hour notice so they'd just call me 24 hours in advance before they came out. Same goes for my mother. I of course went a long with it. Then last week (starting 10/3/11) we have been forecasted to have beautifully clear & dry weather for over a week. I never heard from them so Tuesday I called and said so we're having exceptionally nice weather for the next week, do you guys think you'll be out? She said she had to speak with Barry about the schedule but it wouldn't be today and they'd call me. Here it is 10/10/11 and still no word. I'm sorry but 2 lies about weather has left a bad taste in my mouth. I feel that they don't have time for us because my driveway is small apples for them and my mom's driveway is free due to it being a re-do so they're just blowing us off. So I'm on this website now trying to find someone who does want to make some money by doing the job once and for all! Actions speak louder than words and even their inactions have let me know what kind of company they are!
