Professional and the best tree company! They do a fantastic job, they serviced many trees at my previous home and at a new location. Call them for your needs. They get the job done and do it right.

The work was very good, a little more lawn damage than expected. Also sidewalk cracked from equipment. But overall the work was very satisfactory. The problem was they had to come back to trim tree. I got a call from the owner demanding more money to finish - said he lost money job was bigger than he thought. I paid because I needed it done

I had used Maggs Tree Service previously. On the strength of their satisfactory past performance, I exclusively called them to perform another tree trimming job. I called them on a Thursday morning and they said they'd come out to do an estimate the following day; however, they didn't show up. I received a call from the owner on the weekend. He didn't apologize for the "no-show" on Friday but said he'd stop by on Monday. Again, no call-no show. Through Wednesday I still had no contact from them. Absent a serious attempt at service recovery on their part, Maggs Tree Service has definitely lost any future business I may have given them.

Quick response, had to bring heavy equipment, removed all trees, excellent cleanup.

Professional should not even be in this business name!!! A very loud obnoxious employee who was found to be extremely intoxicated on the job!! As I believe it was the owner who had no intention of taking care of the matter. Stated he would take care of it, but then later called me back only for his personal call to assume I would go out with him! Disgusting Service

He was very prompt in answering his phone and coming over to give and estimate and the job was done 2 days later. The clean up after the tree removal was well done; the clean up of the stump removal the following day was messier but so was the job. I had already scheduled the house to be pressure washed before the this job was scheduled; wish I could have postponed the pressure washing but I couldn't get a hold of them. The sawdust is everywhere from the street to over the house and to the backyard but that's just the way it is and no fault of the grinder! I do wish that this company accepted credit cards as it took a junk out of my checking account!

I called and spoke to Jeff Maggs three different times. Each time he was in the middle of something else and promised to call me back shortly. He never did.

Removed dead ash tree, ground stump, trimmed and shaped four other trees

I needed three trees removed and the stumps ground out correctly. Two trees were very large and over hanging main telephone lines, sheds, and my neighbor's expensive vinyl privacy fence. I got several estimates and all were very high. Some guys wouldn't even give me a price. They just said and quot;call me back if you can't get anyone elseand quot;. I called Jeff Maggs on a Saturday, on a holiday weekend. He called me back within minutes and scheduled a time to meet with me that day. He arrived on time, in a clean, well maintained, company truck, and was very polite and professional. He looked the job over carefully and gave me a written quote at a great price. The best part was he said he could start the job at 9:00 AM that coming Tuesday. I could not refuse, done deal! I always shop around when contracting tree services. Maggs Professional Tree Service had the best deal going. I have found that very few tree service companies have all the credentials, (insurance, workers comp, etc.) needed to protect the customer. Maggs has them. A good, reliable company at a decent price is hard to find. On Tuesday morning at 8:45 AM, the Maggs crew arrived and started cutting at 9:00 AM sharp. The four man crew worked hard and made this difficult job look easy. The saw man, in the elevated bucket, was very skillful at planning his cuts. This made it easier for the ground crew to safely rope the large branches down. This man, Eric, was thinkikng at least five cuts ahead of what he was doing. By late afternoon, all trees were down without incident. All debris was removed and my neighbor's lawn and mine were raked clean. About 5:00 PM., the stump grinding machine arrived and by 6:30 PM all three stumps were gone. A two man crew came back the following day with a loader and dump truck to clean up and remove the stump grindings. All work done was first class! Jeff Maggs, and his workers, were polite and courteous and most importantly highly skilled. He has the equipment to do the work correctly. I have recommended Maggs Professional Tree Service to my friends and neighbors and several are getting quotes. One friend has already hired Maggs to take down two large trees at his home.

Showed up a day late for quote. Quoted high but hired them (him) since he seemed very capable and trees were threatening my house. He didn't show up the week he indicated he would. Came a couple of weeks later and called me and increased quote by 40% based on and quot;more dangerous than expectedand quot;...and quot;needed a craneand quot; ...and quot;climbers were spooked. While there he ground an old stump 2and quot; below grade rather than the 6-8and quot; quoted. I didn't agree to the new price. I got another quote and it was done promptly without drama (for 900 less than original quote and 1700 less than increased quote he gave me on the day he showed up . I sent him 200$ for the work he performed and let him go.

They were very nice and were right here when I called; I did not have to call around. They were detailed and accomplished the work that I needed them to do.

They were prompt, professional, and caring. When he quoted us the price we couldn't believe our ears! We thought it was such a great deal. We were so impressed with their service. We would recommend them to anybody. I would give them an A on everything- especially their clean up. They swept up anything that was left behind after they removed the bushes. They didn't fool around and got the job done quickly.

Crew arrived on time. The ash trees were drilled and the pressure bottles of inoculant applied The dying ash tree was trimmed from the top using a bucket crane. Dead branches were trimmed from several trees One of the piles of branches was chipped. The other was passed over by the crew who thought it was to be thrown down the ravine. When this miscommunication was corrected, some of the pile was retrieved and chipped. Branches trimmed from the dying ash tree were left on the branches of smaller trees. The crew was not wearing hard hats. Spilled gasoline from the chain saws killed grass at three places in the back yard. Inspection of the innoculated trees several months later revealed that one of the trees does not appear to have been treated.
