Keith was punctual, very professional, and finished the job very quickly. It was a little pricey, but overall we’re satisfied with the result.

We wanted an inspection of the possible motor problem of our door which we went through our warranty program. I set up Appt and they came out while I was at work and husband was at home. I asked the tech to go over what the issue was with me and my response was that I’ve already spoken to him and I’m almost done. This response made me upset bc I was the one who set up the Appt. Then my husband proceeded to call me at work telling me we owed all Thais money to which I was confused bc it was supposed to be an inspection of the motor and possible fix. I said it should be covered under warranty and that we didn’t have that much to spend right now of the warranty didn’t cover and the tech said ma’am it wasn’t the motor and maybe you should have discussed this with your husband before I completed the work. If he knew my husband at all he would know my husband ALWAYS WANTS THREE QUOTES! Also I am in charge of the finances and we have a disabled daughter so he would always check with me before agreeing to such a cost with our only first quote. Second I asked the tech to discuss with me what was happening and I was blown off as if I was just a woman. We cringed and paid for the work because what else could we do and then I have the carbon copy in hand with no signature or initials by my husband that he was supposed to have stating that my husband agreed to the work and lastly! He couldn’t even change the bulbs in the overhead. VERY VERY VERY disappointed in this company! Took advantage of a family who only wanted an inspection and that money was also lost to warranty company so let’s just say it’s been a rough two weeks and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Keep a watchful eye on any contractor that visits.

Very poorly. Scheduling the appointment went ok and a technician showed up on time. Everything after that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a service call. The technician seemed to be lost the minute he looked at the door. He spent about 30 minutes trying some things with no results telling me it was because new parts were needed, he then began making recommendations for new parts (outlandish things like the cables were a few inches too long). He was at about $400 in parts when it was clear to me his goal was to sell parts and not adjust the door to work properly. He then called his boss (Keith) for answers (which I now understand is a common trick). His boss called me immediately and began a very rude conversation accusing me of not wanting to properly fix the door. He was so rude and condescending I told him his technician could leave. Both Keith and the technician told me the service call fee was required even if they didn't solve the problem. I paid the technician and was glad to just get him out of there. The next day I called a different garage door service. That guy arrived took a look at the door and had it working smooth as silk in 25 minutes (no parts required). He did share some examples of common predatory practices that he sees in his business (some were exactly what the folks at Garage Door Experts tried to do). Once I saw how easy it was to solve the problem and adjust the door I realized I had been scammed by Garage Door Experts. Fortunately I only paid for the service call and did not get duped into paying hundreds of dollars in unnecessary parts. I called them the next day and requested they provided a partial refund. The guy Keith called me and continued his rude and condescending manner. He really did not want to hear anything I had to say, he launched into accusations that the repair was cheap and would not last, he actually called me names. He was so rude I hung up on him (which I suspect was his goal). Steer clear of this company and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service (they have the same model for service.

Excellent service - call answered immediately and service performed the next day.

The owner showed up on time, but was extremely rude and was more worried about how he was getting paid than telling me what needed done. Felt like he wanted a blank check

The problem I have was the roller came out of the track so called Service to set date to come back and the service man ask if I would try to put roller back in track which I did the other problem was the closer cable would not operate door latch and was told it could not be repaired all I did was adjust the cable and it works fine. For the price of 140 dollars I feel you would get better service I feel that I should be reimbursed part of the service call.

The service man made me feel uncomfortable. He stood on a ladder which could of fell off any time. I did not want to call 911 if he fell. this indicated that the service person did not act in a professional manner. He needs a uniform not shorts and slip on shoes. I also though the cost was a bit high. Quote of $100 for a spring?????? In future I will call overhead door company.

Everything went great. It's the second time we've used their service. Last time, they installed our garage door opener. They were very accomodating with scheduling.

Even though the technician was a newbie, he was very knowledgeable and helpful on cost. He knew what needed to be done and did his job in professional manner. He did the best job he could, his job is obviously to up sell me, but since he couldn't sell me on a new garage door. He did repair my old door so its useable through the winter when I can hopefully afford to get a new door.

Our 25+ year old springs broke over the weekend and we needed emergency service to get the door working. It is a very heavy door (wood siding on door). The repairman came and was able to temporarily patch the spring so we could use the door. The service was 2x normal due to being on the weekend. We then had to wait a week for the special order spring to come in and be installed. The service man arrived on time as scheduled and replaced the springs.

I called because we wanted openers installed on our two garage doors, but first we needed the rails fixed because the wheels were jumping out of the track . Lee set an appointment for the next day. Tim showed up and got to work adjusting the rails and cleaning the springs and adjusting tension. Our bedroom is right above the garage so I wanted belt drive openers as they are supposed to be the quietest and Tim didn't have them on the truck so we agreed on a price and he came back the next morning and installed the openers,and programmed the remotes while showing me how. They work beautifully and are very quiet! Garage Door Experts were very professional and did a great job. I would recommend them for any of your garage door needs.
