Response from EXCELLENCE CLEANING SERVICES, LLC
Our associate was cleaning this home on a Saturday which is outside our normal business hours because our schedule was very busy and we were trying to accommodate the heavy demand for deep cleanings in the month of July because of move in, move out, graduations, weddings, etc. We had just returned home that day from vacation and we needed to deliver the checklists and go over the homes this associate was going to clean on Sunday (again to accommodate a clients needs) and Monday. Our associates will normally take a 20-30 break when doing a 6+ hour cleaning. The meeting took about 40 minutes. When our associate finished up the cleaning a little while later the client mentioned that she was now late for an appointment. She apologized, not knowing that the client had any time constraints. When we scheduled the cleaning and confirmed the arrival time, no mention was made of any time constraints by the client. We called that evening to check on the cleaning as we always do and the client indicated that she was pleased with the cleaning but upset about the meeting. We apologized and explained the situation and indicated that had we known she had a time constraint we would have made sure we completed the job by that time. We called a second time to apologize and make sure that the client was pleased with the cleaning that was done.
