+ -1 morePromised in one week but not ready. However, when I got it home after 10 days, it still wouldn't start. I returned the next day and it took an additional week to get fixed. We continue to return there because some work (not all) is covered under warranty. It's always a surprise as to how much it will cost. They are really nice people who have more mower repairs than they can handle.
Description of Work: Four year old self propelled Toro mower wouldn't start. It has a 5 year warranty, and we never know what will be covered and what will get charged as regular maintenance.

+ -1 moreWe have used Brecon Service for years to service our mower. They always do an excellent job. Pickup and delivery is $25 and is well worth it to us since we don't have a vehicle to transport a riding mower. Since our mower gets a lot of usage during the year, its worth it to have this service.
Description of Work: Date of work performed: 2/1/06. Picked up riding mower, performed tune up of mower and installation of broken parts, including: change engine oil, replace spark plug, sharpen and balance blade, adjust cables, clean grass and debris from mower, grease all fittings, check tire pressure and inflate, clean and check battery, check drive belts. Installed new hood and deck bracket. Delivered back to us after work was completed.

+ -1 moreI WAS VERY PLEASED. OF COURSE WHEN YOU ARE TOLD IT WOULD TAKE TWO WEEKS AND THEN GET THE EQUIPMENT BACK IN TWO DAYS, THEY ARE SETTING YOU UP TO BE SURPRISED. TWO WEEKS MIGHT BE THEIR STANDARD ANSWER FOR EVERYONE. THEY HELPED ME LOAD AND UNLOAD THE MOWER AND OFFERED TIPS FOR DOING THAT IN A WAY WHICH WOULD MAKE IT EASIER ON THE LAWN MOWER.
Description of Work: DROPPED LAWN MOWER ON MONDAY TO HAVE A NEW THROTTLE MECHANISM AND CLEAN AIR FILTER INSTALLED. WEDNESDAY I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL TELLING ME THE MOWER WAS READY. I PICKED IT UP ON THURSDAY. INITIALLY, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 10 TO 14 DAYS TO HAVE WORK COMPLETED.
